my grandma and I came here yesterday with a Groupon for tasting and small bites. The store was absolutely charming! Loads of various oils to try around the store, cute knick knacks and a ton of various wine. Our tasting includes four tastings each. We chose two white and two reds. He chose for us, which I loved because we got to experience choices we may not have made. They were great! The food was also wonderful. We had a panini and flatbread; so delicious! The atmosphere, the employees, the wine and food were all exceptional.

Oh yeah this was a wonderful experience for their wine and bites tasting. Both of the hosts were friendly and engaging. Some of the wines were really good too. All of the food was excellent. We never knew they had food until we bought the Groupon deal. We will certainly be back.(and of course they fabulous olive oil too)

The selection of olive oils are amazing and the service was great. My husband and I each had a glass of wine along with a flat bread pizza. while we waited our waitress brought out a couple small goodies for us to try. My husband wanted to do the wine flight of four wines, but they ONLY offer whatever wine bottles they have already been opened, which was a disappointment coming from a «wine bar» because what happens if I want a flight of four reds and you only have two open? Towards the end they let us try some of there orange brownie mix which was very tasty, so we decided to buy the brownie mix along with the dipping sauce. When I got home I opened the bag of «mix» to find two clear cheap bags of a brownie mix that probably cost not even 50 cents and the orange olive oil bottle that they have for sale with a slip of paper with typed instructions, this little set was about $ 20. If I had known this, I would’ve just purchased the oil and mixed it in my own brownie mix. Also, it was a little awkward having what seemed to be the owner sitting behind us «watching» the employees. You can tell the employees felt very uncomfortable and they were very weird about letting us have a sip of another wine even though we spent about $ 100 within the short time we were there.

My mother and I went to this location for a wine tasting experience that I had purchased on Groupon. It was a great value, and we had a wonderful time! Scheduling the appointment for the tasting was easy. When we arrived about 15 minutes early we were greeted and seated right away. With this Groupon we were also served small meal plates. However, the panini’s we ordered were definitely generous in size. The sandwiches were accompanied by a kale salad with their classic aged basalmic vinegar. It was amazing! We tasted 4 wines each, the portions were generous as well, and all wines were explained in detail. This was such a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this We Olive to visitors and locals alike.

Olive oil tasting! Atmosphere: 5⁄5 this is a very cute gourmet olive oil and vinegar boutique. The interior is kept extremely clean and they have many tastings thought the store. Service: 5⁄5 Suzanne helped my sister and I pick out a delicious balsamic vinegar and olive oil for a caprese salad. She prepared small tastings of each olive oil and vinegar for us, with a side of bread. Food: 5⁄5 all of the vinegar varieties were delicious and the olive oil varieties were diverse. They have a wine bar in the back and they serve a small plates but unfortunately I wasn’t able to try them this trip. Overall: 5⁄5 Amazing helpful employees, tasty vinegars and savory olive oils! In addition they have many small variety of things to purchase including Olive oil Chapstick, olive oil soap, lotions, different types of olives, and all the accessories for and at home Olive and vinegar tasting experience! I will definitely be coming back for the wine tasting, and I’m sure they’re small plates are amazing as well! Side Note: you can bring your own glass container to put the olive oil in too! Or you can purchase their bottles of course.

Super large selection of olive oils and balsamic. They have so many to try you will probably get full just trying to figure out which one you like best. Once you decide make sure to save the bottles because you can bring them in to reuse when you buy either the same or a different oil or balsamic. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that will help point you to what your taste buds desire. In back of store they have a little wine tasting area also although I haven’t tried it yet. Maybe next time.

Words cannot describe my love for this place. I love olive oil and balsalmic vinegar like no other. I have tried a multitude of products from We Olive, of which nine out of ten I throughly enjoyed. My favorites include the Meyer Lemon olive oil and the aged balsamic vinegar. I can’t use any other store bought balsamic after using this one unfortunately. I would highly recommend trying the peach balsalmic for something different and the Ascolando olive oil for a more olive-y olive oil which is nice on salads. The staff is so helpful and will direct you towards the perfect olive oil. They have a bunch of other tasty spreads and dips, along with a nice selection of non-edible products. I haven’t actually walked in for a while since someone has been picking up my oil for me, but I do plan on being back soon. The prices are pretty expensive but if you bring your bottle back you get a discount. :-)

I have visited We Olive twice and had excellent experiences both times in this store which is the pinnacle of flavors. The store is set up well making for easy tasting of the amazing flavors they have to offer including of course olive oils, balsamic vinegar’s, wines plus many other chili oils, tapenades and seasonings. If you are a beginner foodie up to executive chef, this is the place to visit, great for your own kitchen or gift giving ideas.

LOVE we olive– especially their recycling program. I recently ran out of my garlic infused olive oil– came in on a Sunday afternoon, Rick helped me and he was great! He must be new here because every other time I have come here I have not received the hands on service that I got from him– Not only was he eager to help but he did so with a smile. I even purchased a truffle infused mustard which I plan on having with a spicy beef or turkey hot link… emmm emmm good. He even gave different suggestions and let us try man different samples so that we can make sure we were happy with our purchase at the end of the day. I left satisfied. If it wasn’t for«TRYING» to eat healthy I would have gotten other spreads to spice up the sandwiches.

This is my candy store. My weakness it’s olives and cheeses and you can get all of that here. I have been her three times in 5 weeks. I love taste testing the olive oils and learning about the process. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, mixing oils and vinegars while telling you about uses and burn points. All very useful. Last night I enjoyed wine and some food from the menu while introducing my friend to this wonderful little place. I particularly love the stackable Italian glass bottles that can be brought in for refills at a reduced price. These bottles look pretty and would make great gifts.

I’ve walked by dozens of times and stopped in for the first time today. It’s a darling shop with super friendly and knowledgable staff. I bought the peach balsamic vinegar and an olive oil to go with it that was recommended. It was fun tasting and I can’t wait to use my presents to me!

I’m a huge fan of olive oil, so I must say, I was excited to find there was a shop right down the street from my work. We Olive’s staff is friendly, and the shop provides quality oils, however, I was disappointed at the lack of variety and the price. If you’re in the East Bay I would suggest Amphora Nueva, which has a much greater selection of high quality oils and balsamics, and is anywhere from half to a third of the price.

You can sample all of their own olive oils and vinegars. Make sure to try their Peach White Balsamic Vinegar, Blood Orange Balsamic Vinegar, and their Blackberry Balsamic Vinegar. For those feeling less adventurous, you can always take home their classic olive oils infused with basil, garlic, or lemon. I use their balsamics in a glaze whenever I cook beef or need a salad dressing. They’re so much more flavorful than anything you would find in a grocery store. Read more at

These specialty food stores are some of my FAVORITE stops while window shopping or strolling through the city. We Olive, first of all, has LOVELY staff. We were greeted with a great big smile, and were told all about their oils and balsamic vinaigrettes, their history, etc. Great customer service! They have a charming little shop with a small section in the back for wine tasting for all you wine lovers out there. There are several seasonings, dips, marinades, salsas, and delicious toppings for your next dinner on the grill(or salads, snacks, etc). You can sample all of them which is awesome because if you’re anything like me… you will try literally all of them and will want to buy them all as well. You’ll love this sweet little shop and will definitely find something new to add to your kitchen collection.

I’m so deep in trouble. I was just killing time when I happen to have walked in here. It was a rather slow Sunday, and there were no other customers in the store so I got Kathleen’s full attention. I asked for a suggestion, and she gave me a taste of the aged balsamic vinegar. My first reaction was«OMG! This stuff is amazing»! I tasted the other vinegars. They were all fantastic, but I couldn’t stop thinking of the first one. I could’ve drank that out of a cup. Oh wait! I did drink it out of a cup! OK, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. In reality, they were teeny-tiny paper cups for tasting. I also tried the oils and found the meyer lemon infused olive oil to be my pick for the day. I ended up walking out of the store with a bottle each of the olive oil and the aged balsamic vinegar, but not before I filled up a tasting cup of both«nectars», and stuffed my pocket with a handful of pieces of bread. It’s been a couple of weeks since then, and I’ve used either the oil or the vinegar or both on everything I’ve cooked for dinner. Even my caprese salad or green salad is dressed and drizzled with my We Olive purchases. In fact, both bottles are now running low, and my pedestrian, supermarket-bought olive oil and balsamic vinegar just won’t do anymore. I’m so deep in trouble.

Walking around to kill some time before a Play & happy circumstances took us to We Olive I’m a huge fan of olives, tampenades & the like but much to my delight, they also carry a huge & unusual selection of Balsamic Vinegars Got the following balsamics: * Honey Fig — I mean come on — anything that pairs honey & balsamic will be scrumptious * Peach White Balsamic — starts out super sweet but then bring on this ginormous blast of tart * Blackberry — perfect for a summer salad Add to that olive oil soaps, olive oil & lavender lotions & all kinds of smelly bath goodness, I’m in total luv!

We Olive made me look amazing. I wanted a stylish holiday gift for my boss and his wife. I know that my boss’ wife is working hard to be fit and lose weight so I wanted to avoid chocolates, baked goods etc. I found my own basket and headed to We Olive to fill it. I selected stackable bottles of balsamic vinegar and olive oil in a gossamer bag and a couple bars of soap. Every person working in the store made eye contact, smiled, and asked if I needed help or had questions. As I shopped, the owner asked if I’d like her to put some filling in my basket to plump it up. Wow, that was nice – they sell gift baskets and she didn’t have to do that. After I paid, she offered to shrink wrap it in cellophane. No charge for the basket filling or the shrink wrap. I ended up feeling like I’d created a personal gift basket and I ended up with a gift basket that looked professional and expensive instead of a few items sadly placed in a basket, which is how it would have looked if left to my own devices. We Olive let me feel good while they made me shine. My hubby and I have shopped here in the past. We’ve been permitted to wander and taste. We have a balsamic that is essential to our summer caprese salads. Oh, and if you’re lucky enough to sample the blood orange brownies, get them!
