The food is very good for a nightclub. Try the quesidia on the appetizer menu it is enough for a main course and enough to share. Also the burgers with fries is also excellent. Everything on the menu is worth the visit. Enjoy after a round. of golf or anytime.

Great karaeoke bar. KJ Tiffanie is a great singer and KJ. She has a Great attitude and organized karaeoke list. It keeps you informed on how much time until your song begins. Waitresses are real nice, friendly, and hardworking. My girlfriend and I love to sing so we try to come once a week. Crowd and regulars are very friendly. Food is decent. One of my favorite local bars on the weekend to visit.

Stopped in with a friend for a Patty-melt, salad, the Veggie Burger with fresh fruit and drinks. Everything was fresh, tasty and delicious. This is a local’s favorite where you can go hang out, enjoy the casual atmosphere and hospitality — no complaints here. The panoramic view is awesome… and hey, FREEPARKING; a rare commodity in Walnut Creek!

Came in here yesterday morning to catch the first half of the Chiefs — Chargers game. I’d wanted to check out the Greenery for quite a while now, but I only just finally got the chance to do so. Service was good despite the place being quite busy. I ordered 2 eggs scrambled with sausage and a Bloody Mary. Food was tasty without being particular great. Drink was ok. All in all, though, if you want to watch a Football game and grab some decent grub, you could do far worse than The Greenery.

Lost my debit card tonight and did not adequately help solve the problem. They also charged my card and then lost it. Cool. Will not be back.

The people who work here are assholes. I do not know how working at a place of absolute mediocrity enables staff to think they are powerful but everyone here has a seniority complex and delusions of grandeur that is seriously unfitted, and is actually laughable. You work at a place that is lame. You are not protecting national security. Stop acting important.

With a 3 year old in tow, it was crunch time to find a kid friendly place to watch the football game. I’m not from Walnut Creek, so I was hoping I wouldn’t miss an entire half of football looking for that bar/restaurant that would fit the bill. After a quick online search we decided upon the Greenery. Yahtzee! Loved this place. $ 10.95 for a half rack of ribs on Thursdays. Check. Good prices on beers. Check. TV screens everywhere… I mean wall to wall. Check. The service here was great, friendly and professional. Food was tasty… good bar food fare and very reasonably priced. Great spot to check out.

This is one of my favorite discoveries in the bay area! The vibe of this place is like a French Chalet perched on a little hill. I challenge you to find better value in a restaurant anywhere! The food is great and for the price, wow! My first exposure to their food was on Thursday for Rib Night. OMG! $ 10 for fall off the bone delicious goodness. More than I could eat! My next pleasant discover was the Karaōke which is Thursday thru Sun night. If you like Karaōke, this is an absolute must to experience! I have never seen such great talent that comes through this place. It’s like attending a free concert, any night that you attend. The girl that runs it, Tiffany, is AWESOME! She will make sure that you get your time to sing and I am sure she has every song ever written. AND, if your not really a singer, just come to listen to her. UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE! The Greenery is on my FAVORITE list!

So fun! I am reviewing the Saturday night karaōke and that’s it. I didn’t eat any food since I had dinner beforehand. Love the dance party in between every few songs! I also really like the tv screens that show when you are up next and how long until you get to sing.

Fast service, generous portions, lots of TVs, nice feel. Good place to come and convenient to the highway even if you’re not playing golf.

This is less a review of the business, and more on young people having any clue about«dive» bars like Chantal T labeled this place. That’s funny. I’ve seen reviews of bars like Dan’s, Mr Luckys, Masse’s, all in Walnut Creek, calling them dive bars, and all these youngsters probably under 35. There are no true dive bars remaining in walnut creek. What remains are more like sports bars than what I know as a dive. Young bar goers of today, especially in the tender Orchid greenhouse known as the Creek, wouldn’t know what to do if they actually stumbled into a real dive bar. The dives of this area were bars like the Hidaway, the Office, the Pink Gable, the Blarney Stone, the Valley Lounge, the Knotty Pine, Sail Inn, Captain’s Chest, the Brass Lamp, and numerous bars in Concord and Martinez. And let’s not ever forget the divyest of all dives in the region, the Wicked Eye. Today’s wannabe divers would crap their faux goth black pants if they had ever sipped a real drink in these places, fighting the locals for the last few drops of peppermint schnapps in your shot glass. Then finding no TP in either bathroom. Oh that smell.

Giant Date Night Review #02: My wife and I explore the local sports bars to find the perfect place to enjoy some beer and of course, to watch our Giants win some games! We will be looking at: beer order to beer in hand time, # of taps, price, screens, atmosphere and of course… did our team win(j/k)!? The Story: Giants vs. Marlins @ 6:05(Saturday), Our record is back to even! With box scores in hand, we searched for a place to sit. This place has a ton of screens, many of which were playing Warriors. Our waitress followed us to a spot right in-front of the Giants’ game. Service was quick and they checked on us often. Beers on Tap: With only 6 taps, I was pretty disappointed in the choices. I went with a Fat Tire, tall(they have tall and short). It was plenty cold and tall! 2⁄5 Beer Order: Our beers got to us in 1:18 seconds. We have a new record! This place wasn’t empty either. 5⁄5 Price: No happy hour on Saturdays? Well my beer was $ 6.00(happy hour price is $ 4.25). Now, I ordered a «tall» as opposed to a «short». I’m not sure if this was larger than a «regular» beer, but it looked big to me. So bonus point. 3⁄5 Screens: Plenty of HD screens and all of them were pretty large. The Giants were in clear view, but because of the Warriors playoff game, we had no game audio which was a bummer. 3⁄5 Atmosphere: Seemed a little outdated and divey. The seating was stiff-back wooden chairs; not very comfortable. One thing was we were sitting right below the A/C and so it was cold too. 2⁄5 The Game: Giants’ pitching was looking great until we gave up a couple runs. We decided to head out early and the Giants ended up losing 6 — 2 so now we’re 1 — 1 on date night.

Good spot to catch a game. They have 16 TVs. Prices are pretty reasonable and the food I had was good. I ordered the cheese burger and fries $ 8. The place has a full bar and a few beers on tap. I’ll definitely return again to catch a game with a few friends.

Hands down the best fried shrimp I’ve ever eaten! Great patty melt too. The rest of the food we tried was average/fine… After all it’s mainly a bar.

The service here was awful. We were with a large party and they didn’t keep track of the tab. The waitress was nearly impossible to reach, and they ended up charging us for things that we did not order. After already paying our bill, they literally refused to give us our credit card until we paid for a tab that was NOTOURS. It was handled terribly, and the waitress was extremely rude. I am not one for confrontation, but she made me extremely angry. Regardless of the circumstance, manners and customer satisfaction should come first. Period. I’m disappointed.

The more I eat here the more I like it. Good food, good people and great service. Why a four. Sometimes food is not hot but just warm. Not sure if they know about food safety.

I want to let everyone know about this and to be careful if you encounter this woman. We booked a birthday party there on Saturday night. All went great until a woman claiming to be the owner(she may have been the manager) went crazy because my friend set her glass down on the bar a little hard but not on purpose. This woman began to threaten us and aggressively try to start a fight. I tried to defuse the situation however she was so drunk and crazy she just became worse. it was all I could do not to call the cops on her. she completely ruined the night for everyone and the birthday girl left in tears. If you own an establishment it is not acceptable to drink there if you cant handle it. I would not recommend going here because of her. The servers were fabulous however, its a shame they have to deal with such a hot mess for a boss.

Here are the facts about the Greenery. It’s a neighborhood bar/restaurant that is on the golf course, just above Heather Farm Park. It is therefore a bar, a restaurant, and the food place for the golf course. They have a ton of TVs and show pretty much every sporting event under the sun — it is therefore a sports bar. They have karaōke several nights a week — yup, it’s a karaōke joint. The KJ is awesome and friendly, and there is some definite talent here. Yet, even the weakest singers are applauded and made to feel welcome. What’s great about the Greenery, besides being super close to home? Drinks are cheap(but I wish they’d rotate the beer selection). The food is decent to good — try the chicken quesadilla for example. I’ve never had the prime rib dinner but I’ve heard it’s good. Many things are made from scratch, such as the pico de gallo and guacamole. The people working here have never been anything but friendly and respectful to my kids and I. Most likely that’s because we were friendly and respectful to them. Sure, I’ve had slow service at times, but that happens anywhere. Come for sports, come for karaōke, come for beer for the golf cart. Leave the attitude at home.

Seriously there are about 30 enormous TVs. THe food was decent. I had a hard time because the sound was on, on many of the TVs and it was making me feel insane. I had a veggie burger and fries. They have lots of beers on tap. Nice servers!
