This is the best, most efficient Starbucks I’ve been to. Also, Anthony who works the am shift is very cool. He remembered my name after only having been here a few times. Starbucks is a necessary evil for caffeine. But here, it’s a pleasure!

Slowest starbucks EVER! Arrived here at 9:58, leaving at 10:12. 6 people in line ahead of me, 5 employees behind the counter. None of them work with any sense of urgency and only 1 of them smiled. If you’re in a hurry, and most of us are here considering this location is amongst the business park, enter at your own risk.

Tony and Diamond are the nicest employees at this Starbucks location. I am a regular there and they great me with smiles and call me by my name. That’s extremely rare in Walnut Creek and I truly appreciate them :)

I come here often. The baristas are usually in good spirits and provide quick service. Two minor complaints. 1) If you’re a rewards member, you cannot take your drink outside if you want a free refill. If you take your drink outside and sit on the Starbucks-owned patio furniture, they will not give you a free refill because you technically«left» the store. It’s a really stupid policy. 2) The temperature inside is a bit too warm. Otherwise, it’s just as good as any other Starbucks.

Ordered a Mocha Frap no whip, drink came out with whip. Asked for a new one, she took it back and scrapped the whip off. I asked for it to be remade because whip was still there. The lady(Jade) making the drinks had attitude and was really rude. It wouldn’t have been an issue if she had been nice but because she was so rude, this Starbucks gets 1 star.

I like this Starbucks because it’s not as crazy as most Starbucks. Customer service was good and the coffee is good!

Awful. Hands down my worst experience at Starbucks. The customer service was horrific. The baristas were dry and rude. The store smelled like old damp towels, and even considering they were fully staffed, it took ridiculously too long for an iced coffee.

The staff here = Exceptional! Of course I have my favorites, but in reality — they are all great. Probably the nicest crew in all the walnut creek area.

Order my drink, go to pay and the cashier says its on me today! Day maker! Thank you so much. If you only knew how much the little random acts of kindness mean to me.

A bit underwhelmed by my experience today. I asked for a grande soy flat white w a ¾ milk fill line. Yes I know that seems a bit picky but I still don’t think they’ve got the flat white down. While I wait I dip into the restroom and come back while they finish my drink. What do I see? The Baristo takes my drink and pours a quarter out and puts the lid on… I was thinking now did he already pour the espresso in? Did he just dump my espresso and milk thinking that the 2 would magically separate? He looked at me and smiled said, thank you and went back to his business. I took the lid off to see that he had in fact just poured out part of my drink. Not wanting to fuss I decided to try it first and walked out. All I tasted was milk. My caffeine headache would not allow me to leave, therefore had to go back and ask if my drink in fact had 3 shots as it should. He sheepishly admitted that the other Baristo had forgotten to only fill ¾ and offered to make a new drink. I’m glad they made me a new one, but if he had realized it was wrong in the first place, why try to cover it up hoping the customer wouldn’t notice?

Well what can I say that others havent already. Since its opening in 1971 in Seattle Bucks has turned into a fine tuned well oiled running machine with very little issues almost mechanical and methodical in nature. Maybe thats what I will say«Starbucks is predictable, methodical and like a fine work of art that millions continue to visit day in day out .» …

The friendly and excellent customer service makes this my favorite Starbucks in Walnut Creek. The exceptional team here keep me coming back exclusively to this location. My beverage always comes out perfectly made and the staff always remembers my drink and name. A nice touch that is appreciated. The seating area is always organized and well-maintained, which is not something I can say about other locations in the area. Even during the busy morning rush, I am continually impressed with how well this team performs. Thank you staff for always brightening my day!

New California St Starbucks — very easy to get to right off Ygnacio without having to fight through the heart of Walnut Creek downtown. Inside it’s beautiful(for a Starbucks); nice seating, attractive lighting, and just that nice feeling when everything is fresh and new. We visited on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn’t crowded at all. I asked some questions of the barista about the Clover brewing machine. You can get Clover brewed coffee hot, iced, even with added syrup. Then she showed us how it works, and the result was fabulous — simply a great cup of coffee! Hats off for the special service. The one negative: parking. There’s no dedicated parking lot, only street, metered parking. The meters do not take Sundays off, and they are weirdly designed. I fed in two quarters and nothing registered on the meter; I figured it was broken. It only registers after you feed it what it considers a satisfactory meal: at least 3 or 4 quarters. And that will only give you 30 minutes! Some reviews mention garage parking; perhaps they are referring to the Locust Street parking garage a block or so down. A little walk, but it may beat the meters.

This has been my go to Starbucks since I moved to Walnut Creek. Free parking in the garage, I can always find a spot to sit, friendly employees, fast service. So much better than the other Starbucks and most other coffee places around. And they have a Clover. Hello iced coffee with dark roast made on the Clover… For the same price as regular iced coffee. That’s just awesome.

I’m so excited this Starbucks finally opened. It’s in a great location one block from my house. The employees seemed really friendly, and they even gave me a free pastry. This is definitely a great addition to Walnut Creek.

Brand new Starbucks on California st. Awesome! The one inside of target is more convenient to my work, but I came in here today to check it out since it is their grand opening. Lots of seating both inside and out. Very nice layout and display of food with easy to read menu. Pretty much your typical Starbucks but all shiny and new. Friendly service from the girl who took my order and answered my questions.
