I have stayed here twice on short term leases, a few months, while working on a job on Walnut Creek. The location is excellent and the apartments I’ve had have been very comfortable. Communication with the staff was good. My only issue is that they are short on floor plans because the occupancy rate is so high; not a bad problem to have from their end. Also, coming from Sacramento, the rates seem high, but that is the standard for the bay area. Overall, I would definitely recommend Ivy Hill if it’s in your budget.

Moved in Jan. 2014, love my apt, the leasing office staff and manager are really friendly and professional. The building supervisor keeps everything running well too. The grounds are well kept and location can’t be beat. I feel safe, you get one assigned garage spot, there are elevators, small pool and jacuzzi and a fitness center with very nice, new equipment. Neighbors are a mix, expect noise, this is apartment living. Expect a possibly tight parking space, I am stuck between a large SUV and a 2 door sports car. I am not sure how people can afford the rent.

We are a family of three. We stayed at the Ivy Hill apartment complex for 5 months before buying our own house. I would highly recommend the place. The location is perfect, close to Safeway and shopping. The staff is wonderful. Lisa is always smiling and ready to help. Before moving in we read reviews of other apartments close to Downtown and were not sure of what to expect in terms of safety. But after living at Ivy Hill, I can say that it felt safe throughout our stay.

I was able to negotiate a very reasonable rate when I moved in (Feb 09-​Oct 09), but the renewal rate was unreasonable. The property manager that I was used to dealing with was on maternity leave. Throughout my stay I thought the staff was friendly & helpful. I was disappointed with the communication from the complex near the end of my stay though. I would & have recommended this complex to friends.
