We started going to Mark Hawkes for a taxes a few years ago because of a couple online recommendations we saw. We have never regretted it! Mark takes good care of us, handles complexities of a couple who doesn’t file jointly, where one of us is self-​employed with misc jobs + creative business and the other has real estate investment income + job.
We have been happy with our refunds and his guidance. One of my favorite things is that we always show up with all our receipts and he just walks us through it – he doesn’t expect us to fill out a bunch of forms for him. And he does it with a genuinely relaxed, happy disposition. Whereas other accountants have seemed bored or impatient, Mark stands out as someone who really enjoys his work. Imagine that!
