I was recently seen by Dr. Pestana for xrays, exam, and teeth cleaning. He is an excellent dentist, and he and Carlota, his office manager, always make me feel welcome and completely at ease. I have recommended him to many of my friends here, in Rio Vista, even though his office is about an hour away. Having a good dentist that you trust is worth it. His practice is top notch, and I am very pleased with the dental care I have received to date. Thank you, Dr. Pestana!

Dr. Pestana is an amazing dentist. I have been able to be seen right away for emergencies. I have also gone in for his cold sore laser treatment. It’s painless, cheap and best of all, the cold sore stayed the same size and didn’t get blown out like normal. Carlota is also awesome!!! She is very inviting and always polite. Thank you so much Dr. Pestana and Carlota!!!

You will not get the same amazing level of care anywhere else… period! Dr. Pestana personally helps me every time I visit his office and that makes a huge difference to me. No musical chairs or trying get the «good» hygienist that doesn’t torture you. I had avoided going to the dentist for way too long and had a few issues to address. I met Dr. Pestana and decided it was time to get my teeth in shape. I am so glad I chose Dr. Pestana because he really made the entire process very easy. First he is extremely patient and always makes sure I was comfortable in the chair during my appointments. Second I was impressed that he has both the technology and ability to handle many things in-​house, that other dentists would have to refer to an oral surgeon. For me, this meant I got to stay where I was comfortable and with the staff, I know and trust. Everything has been super simple from making appointments to working seamlessly with my dental insurance. After seeing Dr. Pestana just a few times the difference is amazing. I am a client for life!

I am having some dental issues right now and had no clue on where I should go. I ended up calling Dr. Pestana’s office (since my boyfriend is a patient of his) and I got in same day. I was beyond happy and thankful that I was able to be seen right away.
For the last two years I’ve called in and made my boyfriends appointment for him and when I went in I was finally able to meet Carlota and Dr. Pestana! Both are very welcoming, nice and the office is very comfortable and warming.
Totally recommend and «recommended» to all my co workers the next day at work.

Lucky to find Dr Pestana! I needed emergency dental work and he fit me in the next day before traveling, on two occasions. Dr Pestana stays up on all the latest science, technology and has a knack for the art of dentistry as well. A rare find amd I highly recommend.

I moved back to Walnut Creek after 26 years and needed to find a new Dentist. Luckily I found Dr Pestana who is right off Ygnacio near Wiget Lane. He does great work, enjoys his profession and has a great staff. So far, everything has been totally painless. He is on the first floor of an office building and there is always plenty of parking, which is a bonus in Walnut Creek.

What an arrogant dentist! The worst cleaning and inappropriate behavior. Even his assistants were embarassed by his attitude. I am still waiting for the results of my xrays — three months later and three calls later.
