Very disappointed nowhere near a five star. No customers should’ve been the first sign not to go in, but after reading some of these raving reviews I had to just try it. So let’s start: Appetizers guacamole with super market tortillas made laugh $ 6. Second appetizer shrimp with sweet plantains which were not sweet and a total of 6 baby shrimp cost $ 9. Entrée churasco steak which basically is thin steak with an over easy egg on top, 2 raw plantains, gooey white rice, frozen super market fries and small portion of salad over dripped in lemon juice. Food was not good would not recommend save your money. I honestly don’t know where those good reviews came from?

We come here quite often because spanish(not mexican) restaurants in the area are scarce and have found a few really good dishes we love. The tuna soup is really good, we actually get this to go a lot. And as i mentioned in my previous review their fried fish(truta frita) is very good. I get that every time as my meal. Last time we went we got the mussels, these were fantastic– a huge portion and delicious. Updated to 4 stars because we have found great things we keep returning for.

Food is delicious and quantities are massive. We had the guacamole and chips for an appetizer; it was very flavorful and a bit spicy. My husband got the Madre E Hijo– chicken with fried egg on top with yellow rice and beans on the side. Chicken was well seasoned. My sister-in-law got the pernil; there was a huge quantity of meat, a small salad(served on the same plate as the warm food), white rice and beans on the side. I had the seafood paella(there may be more than one item like this– mine was only seafood– no other meat). Heaping is the only way to describe the amount of food on the plate. At least 20 mussels, 4 oysters, several shrimp and a few small squid. It was on yellow rice with peas. It was fantastic. We all left with a to-go container, enough food for another meal. Prices for meals were very reasonable for the quantity of food. The entrees on the menu are not organized at all– not divided up by beef, fish, chicken, etc. Also, some of the items appear to be Mexican, other Ecuadorian, and still others more Italian. You have to really read all the choices(and there are over 20) in order to figure out what is available and what you are in the mood for. The ambiance is very casual but clean. The art on the walls is nothing special and they have a tv in the dining room area which was very loud and showing a soap opera. We asked that it be turned off(there was only one other group of 4 in the dining room and they weren’t watching it) and the waitress happily turned it off right away. The music was apparently being played from someone’s phone– it kept cutting out and a couple times we heard a conversation in Spanish over the restaurant speakers. They should probably get an iPod and play more mellow music so it is easy to carry on a conversation. Will definitely go back to try other items on the menu.

My husband and I were in the Framington area for the weekend and were looking for a good South American restaurant in which to have dinner and watch the World Cup. We came upon Savores on line and took our chance. It wa a little bit of a drive but we loved it! This small unassuming little gem was clean and neat inside, cute bar with stools and a few tables… the dinning room off to the side contained 8 to 10 small tables which could be put together for groups. The bathrooms were very clean also. The food was excellent. My husband had the Pernil or slow cooked pork plate and I had the Carne Asada plate. I could not eat it all as it was a Full plate. I am Ecuadorian so I am used to good authentic food and Savores did very well. The waitress/bartender was sweet and very attentive all evening. We had a chance to enjoy the game with some of the regulars and they too added to the fun evening.

This place is a gem! Food made fresh to order and tasty, tasty, tasty! Plantain appetizer was sweet deliciousness. Camarones de Tequila had just the right amount of spicy kick. Great relaxing service and unpretentious atmosphere. Wish I lived in town. But it might be worth the 2 hour drive!!!

Went there for breakfast on the way back from Boston. The outside is very misleading, the inside was very clean. Some of the people in the restaurant kept eyeing me because as I soon found out I’m the the usual clientele. Other than that the food was very good for a reasonable price, I would recommend eating at this place!

Fiancé and I decided to grab some takeout to go to Gouveia Vineyards and found this gem on Unilocal. Totally unassuming building, not the best parking lot, but the menu and presentation looked fantastic. My fiancé ordered Shrimp Puttanesca, the shrimp were fresh and the sauce was really top notch. I ordered the pan fried trout, it was filleted open, from head to tail and covered the entire inside of the takeout container. Fish was lightly fried, skin was left alone and crispy on the ends and very tasty, fresh trout. Rice and salad with pickled onions were very good and the fried plantains with cheese(lightly sprinkled) was a new twist for us and melt in your mouth. Our friend ordered the Ecuadorean Paella which was phenomenal, both in taste and presentation. Mussels lined the entire outside of the takeout box with the paella being piled inside of the wall of mussels. Overall, this was so good it compelled me to write my first Unilocal review, more people should know about and enjoy this place. Actually getting some tacos from Savores as I write this review! Can’t wait.

Found this on Unilocal while on a business trip. Not fancy but the place is clean and inviting. The traditional bone-in chicken soup was delicious and fresh, and the yucca was not overcooked. The paella was perfectly cooked with good quality shrimp, chicken, chorizo, calamari and several types of mussels. I’m going to be coming back when I’m in the area.

The location kind of put us off. For years! We finally went. It’s a laid back bar with a funky cantina vibe, or maybe i’ve been watching Breaking Bad too much. Anyway, we had a beer and tried some food. Maduros were nicely done, sweet… first time i had them with grated cheese. The pernil was good but the cubano wasnt grill-pressed. A surprise but the contents were great. Nice clean place, good food!

Healthy, fresh and delicious food in one place! Don’t hesitate asking the chef some change, he prepares what you want! And I almost forgot: cheap for the quality of the food!
