Clean and super fun for kids, mine are still young so this is a great place for them for years to come! The staff is always friendly and helpful. I like that the parking lot is huge so parking is never a problem!

Clean place, not too crowded at 2pm Christmas Eve. We ordered the Giraffe combo. Wings were oily and a little bit undercooked, the skin was still fatty and greasy. The pizza was decent, with fresh ingredients. Employees cleaned counters, soda machines, games regularly. They could use more video games. The kids loved the playscape, and winning tickets. They played hard, then slept hard on the way home. Great rainy day/winter activity.

This place seriously rocks for kids. I was introduced to Safari via a birthday for my friend’s son in January. The pizza was great and the pitchers of pop kept coming. The kids were beyond entertained. Since the party in January, I’ve taken my kids here at least once a week. The playground is excellent, even old me can play in it. Coffee of many different favors are on the menu and GOOD. Safari has free wifi, comfortable sitting, GREAT staff, VERY clean, bathrooms are well lit and taken care of, and a BOWLING alley for kids. I could go on and on, but I rather you find out for yourself. :-)

Kids had a blast. Very friendly staff, clean atmosphere. Definitely better then going to Chuck-E-cheese for my young ones. I felt like it was more safe and clean for the kids. Ordered food which was reasonably priced and some Dippin dots which the kids tried for the first time ever and loved. Will definitely be back!

The Service: Friendly service. The Game: there is a playground but $ 7 per kid. Good variety of games however more tokens needed than Chuck E Cheese. The Food: Order the combo meal, better saving.

Nice place to go to have kids run around. I prefer Safari Playground to Jungle Java. They have several food options and plenty of seating for parents to sit and relax. This is a great place for a kids birthday party.

Man. I wish this place wasn’t so far away from me! You know when you go to Chuck E’ Cheese and you just feel like it has never been clean and it is just crawling with germs — HELLOGROSS? Safari Playground is nothing like that. The have a collection of games that give you tickets(like that other place) and then they also have a great playground area(kind of like jungle java). Wanna just zone out while your kid plays(no judging) — there is a lounge area in the back with chairs and tv. They also have a wide range of food — and its good! Salad bar, hand tossed pizza, ice cream, slushies — etc. Plenty of pickings for the kids and the adults. My kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. It was also not busy at all so we pretty much had the run of the place. Oh did I mention that its CLEAN? My only issue is that there is no gated area to keep the kids in and the doors are automatic. So if your kid wandered off they could totally just walk right into the parking lot — thats a big deal that needs to be fixed ASAP. Overall we had a great time and even though its over 30 minutes from me I can totally see us returning in the future.

Great place for kids to have fun! Much less expensive than Chuckie Cheeses and had things like ice cream and slushies. Lots of room for birthday parties

Great for a fun time out with the kids! My 3 year old loved it. $ 5 per child, the arcade games takes tokens. Lots of choices for games, all similar to what you find at Chuck E Cheese. The playground area was nice too. Large enough to keep their attention for awhile. The slide is super cool. Many food choices too. There is also a lounge area with comfy chairs and tvs. The people were very nice and we had a good time!

We have been here a few times with a great experience every time. Food takes a little longer than other places, but is all good food. We had a birthday party here in January and everything went perfectly. It is always very clean and the employees are always very nice and accommodating.

Had a small walk-in birthday celebration there on a Sunday. The proprietor was friendly, patient and accommodating. Food was good. Large selection. Salad bar. Real pizza, not frozen. Good selection of games plus a large play scape. A great place to take the kids even if it’s not a special occasion. Pricing was reasonable.

It’s really nice. Clean. Fun. Had my 2 and 4 yr old for $ 5 to play on the playground. Everything great but one very important flaw… no locking gate to keep the tots contained and I normally love automatic doors but with no gates, a kid can easily run out into the streets. My boys had a blast. Will be back, next time with more help so I’m not outnumbered.

Great place to take the kids! Good food, clean play area, and fun games all for reasonable prices. Lunch and dinner specials make it very affordable. Only complaint is that some of the games ate tokens, but management replaced the lost tokens. Will definitely go back!

My kids had a lot of fun, but as a parent I was a little disgusted by the state of the facility. It has obviously gone downhill since the above review in 2009! *The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty(rings in toilets, floors matted with dirt and dust…), *one trash can available that I could see in the front dining area and instead of it being by the tables where everyone eats it was by the cash register area so you had to walk over a matt at the end of the slide to get to it, *cappuccino/hot chocolate machine out of order as were several of the soda fountain drinks *the temperature was like a freezer in there(hence being upset about no hot chocolate!) As mentioned, my kids had fun but all I could think about was if it was so dirty in the bathrooms I wonder what the inside of the play area was like? If it were better kept I’d have given it a 5 star rating, I believe the poor girls working were understaffed and a third or fourth employee could have been useful to look around the gym area and help clean.

We drove an hour to go to Safari Playground today! It was well worth the trip. My 21 month old son played like a champ for over 2 hours, ate their homemade pizza, and slept the whole way home. I was able to keep an eye on him while he played, and felt comfortable enough to let him explore a little on his own. We will definitely be back! I wish we had one in Saginaw!

We held our son’s 2-year birthday party at Safari Playground today, and we loved it! The playground(think«massive jungle gym») for the kids is so much fun, and very clean. The facility is also a nice size for monitoring your children. Perhaps the best surprise was the food — the pizza there is awesome! We would love to keep this place a secret, but it’s too good to keep to ourselves! If you’re looking for some place to entertain your kids, or a good idea for a birthday party or other function, you will be happy here!
