Wow! These guys were recommended to me by a Lowe’s employee in Lodi, CA. In his heavy Scottish brogue, when I told him I was looking for flagstone and Lowe’s didn’t have it, he told me to check out this place. WOW, was he RIGHT!!! BEST advice EVER! Yes, they had an amazing assortment of every kind of rock and stone imaginable, but they also had all kinds of garden soils, mulches, that you can buy in bulk or by the pound, or by the ton. But that’s not what impressed me. What impressed me was their off-the-hook service! It started with me sending an email at an hour when they were closed, to see if they did super small orders. I received an almost immediate response back, from Dan, who was so kind and welcoming, «Please come by and see us and we’ll get you what you need!»(The answer is YES, tiny orders are NOPROBLEM.) I asked if I could bring my huge black recently rescued German Shepherd(because he has separation anxiety). Again, the answer was yes, and he meant it. Every person in the office was kind to and acknowledged my sweet dog. In fact, when I walked in, I was greeted so kindly and and authentically. I was directed to John, who carefully reviewed the picture of the stone walkway I want to make. After a thorough look of the many types of stone I needed, he took me to a great selection, patiently waiting while I poured over each piece, and helping me find cool and unique stones to consider. Then he CAREFULLY loaded up my Mini Cooper, but not so full as to hurt the springs. I am FLOORED at how much flagstone I was able to get for $ 100. I had size limitations, but still, I drove off with about 5 times more stone than I thought I would be able to afford. Wow. Wow. Wow. I cannot recommend these people or this business more! They are 35 minutes east of Lodi, and worth EVERY mile! Wow. Talk about«knock your socks off» service. Bravo. Bravo. BRAVO! Next time we drive onto their lot(and I’ll never buy stone any other place) it will be for a 3 ton order… but if it happens to be something SMALLER, I’ll probably be in my husband’s JEEP!(Or, at least, I HOPE I’ll be in it…) Seriously… they excelled in EVERYASPECT of delivering a SMALLTIME customer exemplary service.
