We’ve eaten at this restaurant several times. Although, I wouldn’t say it’s the best food in town(but it is good!) they do have great burgers and the Chicken Birds Nest fries are awesome! They also have a good kids menu. They get a five star review from me because on three separate occasions something was either served to us with wheat(when we asked for gluten free) or we were told they were out of gluten free buns/bread after we placed our order and they have always righted the situation: One time they politely remade our food(and gave us huge portions), another time they remade our food and gave us a gift card for our trouble, and another time they gave us our meal on the house. Great customer service for the win.

The service and atmosphere were great! However, we came for the wings and we’re pretty disappointed. We had both traditional and boneless, and both types were very dry and just not that good. The salad and brownie dessert were pretty good, but ultimately, we had come for the wings. …

The food was good. Our appetizer was nice, but small and the service was a little slow. I ordered a BBQ bacon burger with a veggie patty instead of the beef and was brought some kind of southwest burger. I let the server know and she removed my plate and ¾ of my Caesar Salad(my side item) and brought back only the corrected burger…15+ minutes later. So, I lost most of my side and had to wait an additional amount of time because she rang up the wrong item(our receipt clearly showed the error). Overall, okay experience.

Ordered take out. Wings were tasty. Found a small french fry in the blue cheese. Ten onion rings for $ 8 is pricey and only so-so. Several other local burger joints have superior rings.

Unimpressed, went with a large group, service was super slow and kind of unfriendly. Food was okay, got a wrap and the sauce was really good but the rest of the meal was alright. For what I got, I thought a bit overpriced. The large open doors while a good idea in theory, just caused a fly problem. Didn’t appreciate swatting flys while trying to eat. Really did expect more since I’ve heard people rave about it. Just didn’t do it for me. May go back for a second chance, maybe.

We were in Walla Walla for a month, and thankfully we came upon Wingman early on. Sit at the bar with Matt or Renee for great service, fun dialogue and tips on everything from wine to sightseeing to music. We loved this place and will miss it until we find our way to Walla Walla.

I love wings, but theirs are just OK or even mediocre. Sauces are interesting, but they don’t save the wings. If you are featuring wings I would hope they are great and these just aren’t.

Took nearly an hour to get our food… Chicken over cooked. Burgers very small, fat and over cooked. If you can get in somewhere else –do it. Everyone at our table disappointed and putting on lust to avoid next time.

Yeah, I know. There are a lot of wing places around. But these guys do it well. They cut their own boneless wings; to look like wings. Fooled me… Sauces are great! The cauliflower in wing sauce is great ’cause I can get me vegetables and still meet the cravin’ for hot! Four IPAs on tap; five if you count the nitro. Cougar Gold fries? How can a WSU alumni not love that. Also, lots of TVs and good service. And since we’re on the topic of college; right next to Whitman College and coeds everywhere. Wish I’d found this place earlier.

My spouse and I love Wingman Birdsz and Brewz. The staff are friendly, upbeat and helpful. Today we stopped by around 1:00 p.m., and appeared to have arrived at the same time as several parties. We were graciously waited on, and then waited for another hour for the food. Our waitress comped the meal, which I felt was gracious, but akin to killing the messenger. For the third weekend in a row I have come here and hit at the same time as a large group or two, with two wait staff and a bar tender to meet the needs of the groups. Each time before 5:00 p.m. Feels understaffed to me, just saying. Love your food, adore the staff, disliking this dilemma. Will continue our patronage, and hope your staff get the back up help they need.

These fries at Wingman are amazing, and the wings are also five star. It is nice that they have a bar area and a family area.

We were so excited to get a wing place in town… as they are hard to find around here. Unfortunately it’s just not that good. The pros: clean restaurant, friendly staff and management who checks up on tables, not too pricey, interesting flavor combinations for wings The cons: the wings are VERY dry. The beer is overpriced. The other food besides wings isn’t that great either. I wanted to love this place. I even kept going and trying other items on the menu, hoping they were just having a bad day the other times I’d been. Ultimately I’ve given up on the search for good, juicy wings.

Great place to go to get a big burger and some wings! However, about 50% of my meals here have been very good, and the other 50% has been mediocre. Dry wings… Overly greasy fries, etc. However, don’t let this stop you considering half of my meals here have been superb. Great service, great menu and would recommend.

Good wings, if you’re looking for really hot hot wings, this isn’t the place, but for creative wing options and good food, this is a good location. Plus the staff is always really friendly and service is quick.

Ordered salad to go, they forgot the dressing, and the chicken was so dry even the dressing wouldn’t have helped… much. I will revisit the review if I am in the mood for wings.

Flabby Yellow Skin — three words that should never be uttered in, or about a restaurant specializing in chicken wings. Yet there I sat, to my chagrin, FYS slapping my chin. I mostly like this place, but just can’t get past the wings. If it’s part of the restaurant name, they’d better be good. Buffalo chicken sandwich was fine. Salads met our approval. Bird’s nest of fries with cheese, green onions, bacon and sour cream was a good idea for pub food. Burgers are also a solid choice. They have a fine selection of beers on draft, a friendly staff, a nice layout with tables along the perimeter for dining and families, and a decent bar area. There are a couple of TV’s if you want to watch a game. But I went to Wingman for the wingz. I was in twice and was disappointed. They seemed to be cooked through, and the meat was done. Fried wings tend to get the skin crispy, and then you can douse them in sauce. Barbecued wings will tend to be smoky and crunchy after spending a good amount of time on the grill, and the dry rub is all you really need. Wingman didn’t achieve that crunchy exterior, but had the dreaded fys. Sauces were good, and they have some variety. Traditional buffalo was pretty spicy and the Thai peanut sauce was also tasty. The sauce tends to mask the texture, and you can crunch some celery and sip your beer, and still enjoy the game. I’ll give it another try on a future trip to the Wallas. This restaurant has a good concept, but I’d like to see them raise their game on the dish for which they’re named.

The wings are amazing. The sandwiches are amazing great drinks and salads. I just had the pita and hummus plate and it wasv magnifique. The Burwood float took the cake with in house made ice cream!

Half price burger Mondays! Summery: This is a family friendly place that offers outdoor seating(weather permitting.) I’ll be honest, the food wasn’t the best that I’ve ever had. However, I had a good time hanging out at the bar visiting with a few folks and watching a bit of the game. When you have a hankering for a burger(Monday nights burgers are half off!) or chicken wings consider stopping by Wingman. More details: The food was OK(sports) bar food. I ordered the Chipotle burger; it had a great flavor but lacked some finessing on the finishing touches. My fries came out lukewarm and the burger lacked bacon. Upon pointing out these small issues the staff were rectified the issue(s) quickly and without fuss. Should this have been caught in the kitchen before being served, absolutely. However, no one is perfect — I’ve been to Michelin star restaurants and had bad service. The question is what /how is the issue resolved. The staff did an excellent job of correcting the issue and making me fell welcome. Opinions are like elbows — everyone has two and there not always good. Check it out for yourself.

We went here for a very late night dinner during the gentleman of the road concert tour. I am gluten intolerant, and Brandon was MORE than accommodating — Even though they had a limited menu. Said he would have the kitchen prepare the bun for me and make sure they knew it was okay and everything was set. For those looking for GF options it’s great — although the bun was like eating a scone on a burger(sorry! Udi’s makes a great commercial bun you guys can source from US foods or whomever) But it was cool it was made local. :) BESIDES that wee wee comment — the burger tasted amazing itself and the fries were PERFECTLY seasoned. I had a pineapple gin drink that tasted great. No complaints at all. The wings I heard from my party were great — not too fatty and the flavor of the buffalo sauce was good. They even played great 90 rock bands that we sung along to and just had an overall really good experience. Will go back next time we’re in Walla Walla!

Update 2−29−16: leaping lizards no more half price burgers on Monday nights! Bummer. I had to look at the menu like 40 times(I hate chicken) and eventually settled for a salad. Half price burgers on Monday nights is the trend for many places in Walla Walla, so I have a rotating list, which featured Wingman at #1 for 2−16−15, but sadly the place was packed with no chance of a table. Why? President’s Day. Fast forward a week, and I’mmm baaaack. Second time ordering the Chipotle burger, and the second time my taste buds are screaming. The bacon was cooked crisp, just the way I like it, and the guacamole, cilantro and bun(from across the street at the Walla Walla Bread Company) make a really tasty burger. First time, I sat at the bar(only place open); this time, at a table for a different perspective. Either place is awesome, depending on your dining preference. I couldn’t finish all the fries that were on my plate(really, there were A LOT of them). Maybe next time I’ll opt for the salad instead of the fries. Or not.
