Attentive staff, super-reasonable breakfast prices and lots of local flair in the way of people watching, photos on the walls from days-gone-by. We ordered the week day special of french toast, eggs and sausage. Food was good, service fast. If you’re looking for a quick and easy breakfast that won’t break the bank, Mr. Ed’s is tops!

The food here is soo good. They gave us a sample of the pot roast and I can’t wait to come back next sunday to have pot roast. This place is off the main path but well worth the trek.

Just plain good food with good prices and reliable meal. Regular staff make it a fun experience feels like a small town café. Best orange juice in town.

I was not impressed at all. I feel sorry for the people that live in this town and have this as one of their limited dining options. Slow service, and average food. BLT had barely any B and L. Also I was in a group of 6 and my food came out last. I don’t mean a couple minutes after, but 20 minutes after everyone else. By the time I started eating everyone else was ready to leave. It also took a long time to leave since our waiter never brought out check, we ended up going to the front of the restaurant and standing there for 10 minutes. Oh! And do NOT order spicy chicken«drummings» they are so spicy you can’t even enjoy them. It’s not a good spicy, just a flavorless spicy.

Mmmmmmm. Pulled pork was to die for. Great service. Husband had hot roast beef sandwich, and is still smacking his lips.

I used to come here often when I was in College. Seriously my favorite Diner in Walla Walla. It was always packed but they always got you in as quickly as possible. Awesome staff, Awesome food and I love that they give you an insulated pitcher of coffee at your table. Really miss this place and can’t wait to check it out again when I’m back up that way.

If you’re looking for a trendy wine country feel this isn’t for you. Mr Eds is a greasy spoon diner. Within that genre it’s excellent. I prefer it to other local eateries like Clarettes or Tommy’s Dutch Lunch. I love corned beef hash but I’m always hesitant to order it at unfamiliar diners because it tastes terrible if the meat isn’t prepared in-house. Mr Eds does it right. I have yet to have a disappointing bfast or burger here. Im unfamiliar with the rest of the menu but I think it’s a great value.

Very retro dining spot with the best burgers in town. Good breakfasts and service. They smoke their own meat on site… can’t get much fresher than that! Can get busy at times but generally not too bad a wait. Recommended if you’d like a nosh from the sixties.

It is a staple of Walla Walla. Every time I come here its a pleasant experience. Understand before you come, you’re not downtown — so expect a casual atmosphere and some diner style food. However, there are some yummy top notch dishes on the menu. Tonight I had the stuffed pork loin with apple sauce glaze. It was delish.

I always look forward to going to Mr. Ed’s because the food is really good and so is the waitstaff, it may appear to be overpriced on the menu but you really do get a lot of food for your money and you never leave there hungry, I am so happy they have reopened the restaurant after it burned down in 2009(I believe it was).

When we went, there were very few customers(only a couple of 80-somethings who seem to «hang out» there every day). We sat ourselves promptly, then watched the waitress clean nearly all the tables in the building before giving us menus. She then gave us a carafe of water with no glasses. When our food came, we requested fry sauce. The waitress then proceeded outside to pet a dog, getting«kissed» in the process, before preparing other food. She didn’t even wash her hands after getting dog spit all over her, and we never got our fry sauce. I remembered having gone to Mr. Ed’s a long time ago. On those few visits, we’d go for breakfast and have a cup of coffee. One cup of coffee, no matter what. When our food came, our coffee level was low due to my typical morning grogginess. The waitress refilled our cups as we were about to leave, giving us a choice of water(until we ran out), or ketchup. I once waited so long for more coffee that my omelet was cold before the waitress finally gave me something to wash it down with. Other reviewers say the inside is run down. The reason it’s run down is because the restaurant has such poor service that it can’t get the income necessary to renovate. Robert Irvine would have a field day here.

Wow, huge disappointment. Food was mediocre at best. Terrible service. Took 10 minutes to get menus and another 10 minutes to take our order. Sat with an empty coffee cup through the entire breakfast. When the waitress delivered our food she knocked over my friend’s water, which is not a big deal except she used our napkins to clean it up and never brought us any more. Also never re-filled his water glass. I would not recommend the place to anyone. I’d rather eat at Dennys and I’m not a fan of Dennys.

I’ve eaten at Mr. Ed’s for both breakfast and dinner and happened upon it when my daughter taking a state test at the Walla Walla Community College(which is a beautiful campus). The breakfast is excellent and the service great, I could see where they could get busy that the service might suffer, but I have not experience that myself. Coffee was great and constantly refilled which is a must for me for breakfast. What I really like during the summer months is to drive from Kennewick WA to Mr. Ed’s in on Saturday afternoon to have dinner at Mr. Ed’s. They run an all you can eat barbeque rib special for a little over $ 10 if I recall correctly. Occasionally they will do brisket I was told, but have not experienced that to date. You get your choice of cole slaw or french fries. The coleslaw is very good and the fries are excellent. I talked to the cooks who told me they use apple wood to cook which actually works very well for the ribs. I gather this restaurant is an independent family owned restaurant so I gave it a 4 star rating since I expected no frills. It is your basic hometown restaurant that I believe gets visited by many local regulars. The one thing I was impressed with is that we were not treated any different for the other customers regarding service for being irregulars outsiders. The inside wall décor is also interesting to look at since there are many photos, and some memorabilia of the celebrities(on wall going to restrooms) who have visited this restaurant.

Best breakfast I’ve ever had in a restaurant. One of the very few places where the biscuits and gravy are actually as good as home made. The burgers are big, sloppy, greasy and exactly the way a burger should be, if it doesn’t get on your face while being stuffed in your face then it shouldn’t go in your face. Milk shakes are fantastic and the portions will send you away with a box full of leftovers if your a sissy boy who can’t eat his meal(I’m a sissy boy who couldn’t eat his entire meal)

Curly fries could be hotter, fresher. Burgers great. Milkshakes are pricey, but by far the best in town. In the last 10 days, I’ve had one Iceburg Peanut butter and chocolate shake and 2 Mr Eds. Hands down, winner is Eds. One of a too small group of mid-range priced restaurants in town.

I do not get the hype on this place, fellow Unilocalers. It’s basically a truck stop in a strip mall area of Walla Walla(away from downtown) with enormous portions and greasy, greasy, greasy(did I mention, greasy?) food. I mean, I like a local joint, but this place was hyped on Unilocal beyond what it could live up to. 5 stars? 4 stars? Really? Think Wonder Bread, $ 9.99 signs on paper plates, about 101 fried items(included, fried steak, but of coarse!) and super jumbo red plastic cups full of soda. I went here for dinner with a local couple, who kept raving about the prices. Prices sure. But we were paying for food, and I wasn’t too excited to eat it. The BBQ was tasty, but after eating it I immediately felt sick –as in, just because there is a good smoky sauce on something doesn’t mean you should go ahead and eat it. Maybe breakfast is far better, but then again, maybe not. I concur the vibe is friendly, but the food? Its never a good deal if it involves heartburn.

Good fries and best shakes in town. Sorry Iceberg, you are not on top anymore. A reliable mainstay that’s affordable in WW.

Ok, kind of a dive, but a clean dive. Great breakfast, I think best in town. However, best RUBEN I have found in a long time. Great waitstaff, plenty of parking. This is your comfort-go to when you don’t want to spend a lot of money and get some down to earth cooking. Everything I have had there has been good so if you going for ambiance, go someplace else, but if good food with friendly service is what you want then Mr. Ed’s is the place

Mr. Ed’s has been here in Wally World for ever. Long long time ago the place was an A&W Drive-in. Now it’s Mr. Ed’s, but not the old Mr. Ed’s, it burned out a year or so ago. It left a huge hole in the Walla Walla place to eat list. They do their own smoked meats. Now if you want to see good eatin’ order off the BBQ menue. Pulled Pork(Sandwiches and Omelet) Chicken, ribs and if you are lucky Prime Rib. The Prime is so good I’m surprized it is legal to serve. Fork tender, moist, a little smokey-to die for. Burgers is all sizes and descriptions, usual resturant fare. Best thing is asking for something special is never a problem, if they have the stuff they’l fix it. I asked for a BBQ beef Omelet one day-got it just like I wanted it. Try that a M’c D’s or the Kings joint. A sure place to try in Walla2

Quirky atmosphere and good service, but the food is only OK. Sorry, but it’s true. For the size of the crowd and the price, I expected better food. I’ll be back: it’s a good location and service is fast. And it’s the best breakfast on the east side of Walla Walla. So far. Update: I haven’t been back.
