Stopped in here and had the opportunity to meet Marie, the wine maker. She is delightful and the wine was wonderful. Immediately joined the wine club. Thank you for the recommendation Carl!

We visited the Forgeron Cellars tasting room on a recent trip to Walla Walla for wine tasting with our dogs. I had emailed ahead of time to make sure they were dog-friendly, which I had read online. We arrived 15 minutes before the tasting room closed, but they happily accommodated us. The wines were lovely. We ended up purchasing the 2007 Chardonnay and the Walldeaux! My full review is here:

For nearly a decade I have been a member of the wine club here. They never fail to make wine that I enjoy. Several years back they started making a red blend, Waldeaux Smithie. At ~$ 10/bottle this is our weeknight wine with pizza. Love their Zinfandel and they do a wonderful brunch with wine pairings on Spring Barrel tasting weekend.

I give Forgeron 5 stars not only for tasting but for attitude. We ran it at basically closing time and the two bubbly girls and wine scientist welcomed us in and warmly shared their knowledge about wine. They even took us back to the lab. Didn’t rush us out of there and let us taste so many. Sorry I didn’t catch your names but thanks a bunch! We ended up buying two cases :-)

This small winery with it’s tasting room located in town is a favorite! Very good Chardonnay, Cab Sav, Cab Franc & ZIn(not a lot of Zin’s in WW). What may be lacking in ambiance they make up for by being friendly and helpful. This is a definate must stop on our next WW wine tour. Have fun!
