Let’s just yay that I drive an hour and half (each way) to get my hair cut here!!! Jackie is my stylist, owner, creator, and fresh eye on my hair. The test of a good hair cut is the way it grows out. I have always been super satisfied and looked my best even when overdue thanks to her talent.
There are many extra options for a hand massage and essential oil head massage, take it all it!
Do yourself a favor and go for a new you in 2016!

Spruce Salon had some great reviews on Unilocal so I figured I’d try it out. I felt so welcomed the minute I stepped through the door. I needed a change and was long overdue for a haircut. Jenna provided some great advice and I couldn’t love my haircut more! Courtney gave me an amazing scalp and hand massage as well.

I just love this salon from the happy cheery environment to the beautiful airy décor. My stylist Jenna is just awesome and I love going to see her. She always makes me feel so good by the time I leave and my hair always looks amazing. The Aveda product line is one of my favorites and the scalp and hand massages are oh so relaxing.

It took me years to find a «blonde» hair colorist!!! Jackie, the owner of the salon, has been doing my hair for several years and I cannot recommend her enough. If you are as particular as I, you want the most natural looking blonde result; meaning no thick streaks, hi light and low light (not just one color) foils and lastly, a perfect cut. The salon itself is immaculate and Jackie brings a vibe to it that is welcoming, fun and extremely comfortable. Plus, the Aveda product head and hand massages are addicting!

Spruce is such an inviting place, and Juliana gives a great haircut. I have long straight hair and just needed a trim, and it was perfect. I love the décor, iced cucumber water, herbal tea, and hand massage, cause no matter how stressed you might be, they’ll relax it right out of you. Everyone who works there is friendly and ready to chat you up, but they also clearly take their work seriously. Their sink chairs are so much more comfortable than any others I’ve been in!
I ended up coming here for a cut and style right before a wedding once, and tried some of their makeup and ended up buying a cute bracelet that matched my outfit. It was such a fun way to get ready before a beautiful night. Can’t wait to come back and get my hair cut again!

I hardly ever write reviews but this was the best new hair salon experience I have had in a long time. I came in for a root touch up and left looking like i got my entire color done. Rikki was awesome and I would highly suggest this place.

Spruce salon is wonderful. I’ve been a client since they opened and find it to be a very welcoming place. Juliana is an amazing hairdresser who listens to me and does amazing things with my hair. The hand and scalp massages are so relaxing. I recommend Spruce and Juliana.

The space is welcoming and inviting and the staff exudes great energy and commitment to delivering an excellent experience.
Wall is a bit of a drive from my home near Red Bank, but I will be happy to make the monthly trek to Spruce.

Thank you to everyone at Spruce! I went in for a cut and color, but even got a hand massage and herbal tea. I normally dread getting my hair colored because it takes so long, but Jackie was amazing!

I have gone to Spruce three times now for color/​cut. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable. The scalp massage, essential oils, and hand massage are amazing. The best part though was leaving each time loving my hair. I have been to many places in the surrounding area, and this has by far been the best place.

While attending a wedding in Spring Lake, NJ, I need to get a hair cut and found this place through Unilocal.This has to be the best salon in New Jersey, maybe the world. The staff was friendly, the facility was clean and my haircut was awesome. I even got a scalp and hand massage. I highly recommend the hand massage. They also offer a great selection of Aveda products.
