Best service and quick food with affordable prices. Try the steak and cheese or the beef bulgogi!

Simply… Interesting. We were passing through and stopped in based on the 4+ star rating alone. What a mix. The pupusas were excellent, a cheeseburger was pretty good(with a nice-sized basket of steak fries), and the chicken bulgogi was good. The spring roll with the bulgogi was a waste. They were out of kimchee the day we stopped in. The atmosphere was non-existent, the bathroom required a key, plastic utensils and napkins had to be requested, and we had to bargain to get a cup so we could split a couple of bottled waters(no complimentary tap water here).

Great food!!! Especially the Koren dishes they offer! The chicken and beef Bulgogi is very, very, good. I know Elizabeth and her husband are going to do a great job running this place!

So with all the great reviews I thought I would try this place again. To start the staff were very nice, improvement from my first drop by. But I have a hard time liking this place, it feels dinghy and you have to walk through the cloud of smokers to go in and out? Not appetizing, but wanted to give the food a chance. Ordered a burger and fries, fried chicken and slaw and fried rice and spring roll. My MIL said burger and fries were pretty good, my fried chicken was not great, took 20 minutes to cook and the slaw seemed store bought. The fried rice was bland and the spring roll was extremely greasy and over cooked. Non of us were blown away, so sorry don’t think we will be back. Simply good was really just okay!

Simply Good turned out to be Simply Disgusting. I ordered here for the first time today. If you’re looking at the website, the menu is out of date. They do not offer bibimbap or kimchi. So if you’re looking at a Korean dish you’re limited to bulgogi. The bulgogi wasn’t bad for about $ 10. The chicken however is a different story. I bit into a piece of fried chicken and found multiple hairs fried into it. That kind of lack of basic cleanliness is unacceptable to me and I will never eat there again. They should think about making their employees wear a hat or hairnet and incorporate some sanitation practices.

First time here… Owners were extremely nice and welcoming. As someone else said, I recommend ordering ahead and taking it to-go. I had the Beef Bulgogi. Portions were good-sized, but may have been a bit pricey. Having said that, it was delicious. Beef Bulgogi, white rice, a spring roll, and either kim chi or cole slaw, for just under $ 11. I’ll definitely be back, I’ll just call ahead next time.

Love this place and have never had an issue with the owners or the food. I always order the fish platter and it’s always been great, no complaints!

I wanted to like this place but it is just not worth the money. I ordered 5 wings and fries with spring rolls for me and my daughter. For $ 21 I got the pictured box. I thought we were being greedy but we ended up barely having enough! 5 wings turned out to be wingetts and not whole wings like I am accustomed to at similar restaurants. Highlite of the meal was the Mumbo sauce which was quite good. Fries were unremarkable but spring rolls were decent enough even though they do not carry duck sauce(interesting).

I really wanted to like this place. Not just cause I live right behind it, but also the woman who owns it is so sweet! However i got a cold cut sandwich and was immediately turned off by the fact that the woman in the back making my sandwich wasn’t using gloves. I still tried the sandwich but could not eat it thinking about her hands all over my meat, lettuce and tomatos. Gross! Sorry simply good. Not a good first time for me. Please make your employees wear gloves!

The owners are really friendly and kind. The food is great except for the bulgogi. I had it twice. The spring rolls are delicious but the bulgogi taste horrible. If you know what bulgogi is suppose to taste like, then you will be highly disappointed when you get some there. It taste like salty greasy meat and does not contain the ingredients that makes bulgogi so delicious. The second time I ordered the bulgogi, it was worst than the first time. I couldn’t even it eat it. The kimchi is very disappointing as well. But I guess it is that way dued to lack of supplies because of location, but still you can always find a innovative way. Other than the bulgogi, the other selection of food is tasty. Just avoid the korean food selection. I think the prices are a little high as well. If I could give a separate rating for customer service. I would give them 100⁄5. They are so sweet.

Wonderful customer service food is super fresh and tasty. Had a steak and cheese and some wings with mumbo sauce, it’s a sweet tangy and spicy sauce.

Simply good, was just that. Reading the reviews prior to arrival I was quite excited about supporting a small business in an era of chains. The store is owned and run by a married couple. I was greeted by a gentlemen who was personable, and pleasant to speak with. In the event you want to wash your hands prior to the meal, you have to ask for a key, a tip that should be prized as I waited over 5 minutes for Casper to wrap it up, before I inquired at the front desk. If course I ordered the bigoi. Though the portion size was above average, the flavor was too American, and the cut of meet was tough. The kimchee was watered down and limited to the butt of cabbage. The egg roll was crisp and fresh, and rice was sticky and not at all grainy. Over all, it was just good. Which is a shame considering the bill of $ 12 bucks. Maybe the other items are more well received, problem is I probably won’t give it a shot considering the other options in the area.

I came here last night from a Unilocal review. Never had Korean, and if you like oriental food this is a must. The major difference is everything is made from scratch, not pre-made frozen It is awesome. Bulgogi is incredible. Came back today and ordered for friends office. They all loved it and are going there. Great food, great people all Simply Good!

I just moved to Waldorf and found this place nearby. My boyfriend and I really like it: he’s a big fan of the beef bulgogi and I dig the steak and cheese. Great food, super-friendly service, and reasonable prices. Can’t complain!

First time here tonight and as i entered the place was clean and smelled clean as well! The man and woman that own the place seem very sweet. I told the man that it was my first time here and he immediately explained how everything was gave me a menu and everything to take. We talked for a bit and i adore his personality. he was so welcoming and explained how they got into the business & how they owned other businesses. it was just positive energy and that’s always awesome to me. * waits for food…* the owner came behind the counter to give me our order and omg it smells so good. okay let’s move forward! I ordered the chicken wings and fries with mambo sauce on the side the chickens were still hot and crispy when i got home and boyyyyy were they delicious! the biscuits were so cute and scrumptious as well! my significant other ordered the cheeseburger with caramelized cooked onion omgggg it was to die for! i want to try the Philly cheesesteak next time!!! the fries were okay in my book I’m more of a fan of skinny fries but that does not stop me from eating them or taking stars away on this review! it is best to call in your order before hand instead of coming in and taking it out! they’ll have it fresh and read for you. i enjoyed my experience and this place is so good don’t let the small menu blind you this place is definitely a gem!

Usually the food is good. It’s to your advantage if it is, because John, the owner, does not take kindly to returns. Refunds are out of the question, even if it’s due to their mistake or poor quality of the food. The prices are too high, and John always talks about going up on the prices, which he does regularly. I think the restaurant would do much better if John would let his wife run it. Also, the décor leaves a lot to be desired. It’s hard to work up an appetite when you look at the décor of the place!

Its a small clean place that smells wonderful on entry. Don’t let the variety on the menu throw you off. You can get a burger, salad or Korean. All of it tastes great. The gentlemen at the register believes in customer service. Your order is cooked fresh to order. I’ll be back. Perfect for take out!

I love this place! It’s a hole in the wall with not the nicest bathroom(you actually have to ask for the key), but the food is amazing! There are only a couple of Korean offerings, they now have Bimimbop which is excellent and a must try for anyone who wants to experience Korean food(the sauce is out of this world!). The Bulgogi is also very good. The American offerings are delicious too, everything is freshly prepared(you have to wait 20 minutes for the chicken). I love the fries! And to top it off the owners are the best! This place is a little over 4 hours away from me, so I don’t get to eat here often, but when I do it’s a treat!

The name does not justify the taste that I felt after eating here, should have been called«Simply not good». Basically a fast food place with plastic seats and not really clean. Changed my mind from eating here to taking it to go, I ordered their famous Korean fried chicken and all it was famous for was the tasty sauce that came with the over-fried chicken. Maybe my standards are too high from reading everyone’s great review of this place but sure not feeling the love here.
