Nails & Faces of Joy Spa

I took my two teenaged daughters with me to Nails & Faces of Joy tonight for mani-​pedis and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We used the Unilocal deal which gave us $ 15 off, but the service was definitely worth the full price. The ladies were all very welcoming and professional and we were instantly made to feel comfortable and relaxed. My girls got the Kidz Joyful Manicure and Pedicure and I received the Joyful Manicure and Pedicure. All of those services were great, but the Joyful Pedicure was absolutely amazing!

I was looking for a place that did the Shellac manicure and this place came up. I called and didn’t need an appt and they were having a special so I decided to give it a chance. The drive was pretty far, since I live in D.C. and i got kinda lost because its not really a place, its a person who rents a space in a salon. Her name is Joy. She was very pleasant and gentle. She took my coat, had a hook for my bag and placed one of those shoulder aromatherapy thingies on my shoulder. It took about an hour and I was happy with the results for the most part. the only thing that i ended up not liking was that the edges were a little too sharp so one nail snagged and that nail didn’t last the two weeks. Also, if your nails grow fast like mine, then you should get a light color and not red, because then it looks like acrylics that are old. Overall i would go back if i am in a pinch, but I will be searching for someone a bit closer.
