Italian Custom Tailors

I had a bridesmaid dress altered here and was not happy with the result. The dress was too big and too long, and I wanted them to take it in AND hem it. The man who did the measurements kept pushing me to just have it taken in, but that left it hitting right in the middle of the knee which is not a flattering look, so I asked him to please hem it also. Well, he charged me for the hem job but definitely did not do it. I wondered when I tried it on if he hadn’t done the hemming, but didn’t pursue it as I should have. On the day of the wedding it was clear that it still hit me right in the middle of the knee and that he’d only taken it in and thought I wouldn’t notice. Very dishonest and sloppy work. I gave the place two stars b/​c they did do a decent job taking the dress in. I wish he had just refused to hem it rather than charging me for work that wasn’t done– at least then I could have taken it elsewhere. Would not recommend this place for anything other than the simplest stuff– clearly is beyond their ability to do more.

This place is awesome! They were able to let out an evening dress for me and it came out perfect! I am thrilled!
