As an out-of-towner to Rhode Island, I was pretty impressed by this Starbucks café. All the baristas & staff members were extremely friendly. Spacious bathrooms(separate ladies /men’s stalls) and the ladies room was extremely clean! Keep up the good work :)

It’s starbucks… which means it’s good. I’ve never purchased anything but refreshers and they have no rival. Seems like the bad reviews are just a bunch of bored tourists. Highly recommend. you want to bash a chain… bash DD!!!

I’m only really a fan of this starbucks because it’s so close, and as a few other people pointed out the Baristas are generally very friendly here. There is one young man who works here though, who doesn’t pay attention when you order, and doesn’t seem to like to mark cups properly. Also, I don’t think the baristas have been trained/care to keep an eye on how long espresso is sitting in a cup– The longer the espresso sits in a cup, the more bitter it becomes. Not everyone knows this though, but it was at one time trained to all baristas. Other than that, the store seems to be slightly poorly managed, and I’ll say that because of how long it takes to get your drink sometimes. If someone came in and taught the baristas how to be more efficient, then this starbucks would make me very happy.

The Starbucks in Wakefield is fantastic, very polite and helpful baristas. If u go there a lot, they know u by name n what u want. Love our local Starbucks!!!

I LOVE Starbucks and have been to them all over the country when either traveling for business or for pleasure. That being said, this by far is the strangest configuration of a Starbucks I have ever seen. It’s just not as welcoming as other Starbucks I’ve been to. There really isn’t too much of a seating area compared to other Starbucks, but there is a seating area BEHIND the wall of the front counter. This parking lot is also crazy due to Belmont at the other end.

Another iteration of the ubiquitous chain. Is it better or worse than any of the others that I’ve been to? Not at all. As others have stated, the layout is bizarre, but I’ve never stayed, always taking my drinks to go. That being said, I would be hard-pressed to suggest this as a place to meet someone for a cup of coffee because of the layout. There are a few other places in the area that have better options for coffee with seating. But again, it’s a Starbucks, and every time I’ve been there the staff has gotten my drink correct(which should not have to be noted, but don’t get me started). Maybe because I’m not a regular yet, and not on a first name basis with the staff, but I haven’t noticed that the staff is particularly friendly. Not saying they’re rude, but just rather business-like. I’m not looking to be bff’s with these people, though, so it’s not a truly big deal to me.

A very good Starbucks and the most unorthodox layout I’ve ever seen. For a beach Starbucks, the staff does not turn over much. They make amazing drinks and are very friendly. What more can you ask? I find that Starbucks is different from location to location and this is my 2nd favorite.

The woman with the red streaks in her hair(acted like she was the CEO) is unfriendly and lacks professionalism. Won’t return, have heard bad things about this location before. Yesterday I waited in the drive thru for 15 mins. Wakefield, Raleigh NC
