I purchased a Verilux lamp 8 years ago and, in December, tried to buy a replacement bulb for a lamp in my vacation home. The customer service person could not help me find the right bulb, so I did my best. Now, 3 months later(when I’m back), the bulbs are 4 inches too long, and Verilux will not take them back.(They cost $ 25 each). Do not buy anything from this company. Ever.

please do not buy from this company. it sucks & will ripe u off. purchase 4 book light but if u use it 1 time it will leave scratches i have pictures, item, & bill when i purchase this. u can see it if u want me to send u pictures i brought them 9⁄2014& just use it as of 10⁄2014 in 2 days u cannot see the panel. omg it’s a ripe off please read all comments on this company before u purchase. & yes customer service suck too. u want to purchase book lights stick with lightwedge if it available. been reading for at least 35 years this is the worst i ever saw

Verilux fraudulently charged me $ 132.97. The phone number listed on the transaction on your statement is a residential phone number. DONOT buy from this company, if you have any degree of respect for yourself and your money. I’ve filed a bank claim and police report. My bank(Wells Fargo) told me to NEVER do any sort of business with them again. Obviously. I’ve NEVER had such a ridiculous customer service experience in my life! Once you provide them your card information, they will charge you for whatever they feel like. SOOOO wrong and nauseating! Verilux: Go to hell.

Verilux, you rock! You rule! You rock and rule! Rewind to four years ago. A visitor to our home unceremoniously declares that the«lighting sucks» in our offices. Suggests getting full-spectrum desk lamps. So…I order two of them from Verilux(the first thing that came up in Google). They’re wonderful. So wonderful, that I continue to order from the company. I especially love their UV sanitizing wand — although I have no way to prove that it works — I’m pretty confident that it does. Fast forward to right now. One of the desk lamps dies. Remembering that they guarantee their products, I call Verilux and let them know. Without even having to ask, a new lamp is promised to me despite that line being discontinued. «We’ll find one around here for you. If we can’t, we’ll give you a call to discuss another kind.» Our new lamp shows up in only a few days! Yay!!! Illuminated desk: good! Thank you Verilux! That’s some pretty freaking awesome customer service.
