Honowai Park

Run-​down, broken equipment makes this a sad play experience. One of the chain «railings» is broken and hanging down (see photo), with bits of yellow caution tape tied to it.
There is a lot of paint over the worn-​out, crumbling vinyl pieces, obviously there to cover graffiti. But still, fresh graffiti featuring the «f word» is evidence it’s a constant battle.
The playing field and basketball courts looked nice enough. I didn’t go in the bathroom, so no comment there.
One bonus: quite a view! But would not take my grandkids there again.

A nice neighborhood park with baseball/​softball fields. My boys play little league here. Bring something to eat and drink, and bring some shade.
