This is a review of the monument, not of Captain Cook. It’s a nice area, with multiple picnic benches. Parking around it is free but street parking. Looks like a nice place to sit and eat your lunch. There are trees, and grass, and red dirt. It’s worth stopping by, just to see it, and there’s some cool eateries right around it so you can grab something and sit near it. It is in the grassy section near the first Hawaiian Bank sort of across that little street. And if you’re in the area, why not stop by?
