Attended a wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House by Event Masters. The wedding and location were beautiful. The dinner/reception was not what was promised. There was not enough food for the guests even though the final head count was given many days in advance. This was clearly a bait and switch from the tasting event. The continental breakfast the next morning also did not have enough food. The muffins from Costco were cut in half then in fourths. The croissants were also cut in half. There was not enough fruit and the caterer ran out of coffee. I don’t know how this company stays in business. I would caution any bride looking at this company to have second thoughts before hiring them.

Beware of this company! Our impression is that they have limited working experience — certainly not professionals. The food they served was minimal, inconsistent quality and not well executed. We are surprised that more people didn’t get sick. They didn’t know how to handle fish or dairy. Milk was left out in the hot sun with no cooling. The fish tasted bad and most people didn’t eat it. The crew was certainly not local and our guess is that this is some kind of fly by night operation.

We attended a simple wedding by Event Masters where it was pretty clear to all the guests that this company was well over their heads. Food for both the reception and the breakfast was in short supply, service was erratic and not as promised. In fact, most agreed, nothing was as promised. Seemed a very iffy company… IMHO you need to be careful dealing with them…
