Our waikiki nights was filled with many nights here since it was so close to our hotel. Stays open later than most other places in the vicinity and everytime the food was impeccable. Not to mention an overall clean establishment and a hefty draft beer selection. The yard beer is exactly what you think, it’s a yard tall and makes for a fun souvenir picture. Love how this place has both a happy hour during the day as well as a reverse hour(after 9:30pm). Big fan of their juicy, cooked to perfection burger. Happy to hear they opened one in ohio now.

The Yard House has been my favorite place to take out while I stayed at the Embassy Suites here in Waikiki. Their Vampire Tacos are excellent and the Clam chowder soup is absolutely a must. This soup is the best I eaten in my many travels throughout the Pacific, so try it and you won’t be disappointed. To the Staff at the Yard House and the Chefs, keep up the good work, and thank you for feeding me such delicious food.

Shocked. The food was actually good, and for the Waikiki area it was reasonably priced. Our server was great. She took very good care of us. The duck fat potatoes and onion dip was good. The crispy duck wings were the star of the meal. The street tacos were good. My wife and I didn’t care for the tortillas, but the meats and«taco filling» we’re good. The Korean short ribs were the best. The asada were my least favorites, but still ok. I tried a vampire«cheese covered crispy tortilla. It too was ok. My daughter fell asleep and the server packaged up her food and even her dessert. We didn’t drink because we drank so much at Roy’s last night. :) glad there’s something functional close by. All the food at our new hotel sucks. I would recommend the yard house and we will be going back.

I am not a chain person, especially in a location swarming with mom and pop, local shops. BUTTHISISYARDHOUSE, ANDYARDHOUSEISDIFFERENT. There are so many different choices, you can’t walk in here and not find something you like. Their service is also amazing, and very attentive to their customers needs. This is probably my fourth or fifth time at this location, and really can’t find a bad thing to say. — Actually, I can, HOWEVER, it is not the fault of the establishment and it’s the time it takes to get a seat. I’ve come here twice at around 7, and never again. It took about 45 minutes for a seat. Instead I now start my visit around 5 – 5:30. This last time, we got seated right away. Had our drinks, appetizers and our meals by minute 30 of walking in. Now that is what I’m talking about. Never again will I attempt to dine in a city as late as 7PM. *** Just as a side note, YARDHOUSE — COMETOANCHORAGE, ALASKA.

A solid American restaurant if you start craving for regular food. Jerk wings I got today was baked and seasoned perfectly giving it a juicy bite with great jerk sauce on the side. Nachos were also good, I personally don’t like the cheese they top it with because it gets hard once it cools. I do love the tomatillo sauce that’s drizzled on top. Get extra, you gonna want it. It do get crowded, it has TVs and it’s your bar setting here on Waikiki.

Geoffrey(bartender) was the best waiter I have had in waikiki and I’ve lived here a year and go out to eat 4 – 5 nights a week.

This place is popping! Busy with excitement! We sat in bar area high stool seating on a shared table which was nice to mingle and chat with the tourists. The service was great. Very alert and attentive to our needs the whole time. One of the best Moscow mules I’ve ever had. Green flash beer hit the spot. The chicken Torta sandwich was delicious and the fries were thin long cut. Added the tomato brisk soup for a few extra dollars which was outstanding. Just a great experience! 1 of the restaurant with the most beers on tap on the island.

A solid restaurant with fair pricing. The only thing preventing from getting 4 stars is the extended wait, and some staff. Bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly. Attire is casual. Wait staff shows fatigue of personality faced with serving so many nameless tourists. They are efficient but brunt and when faced with a customer wading through a voluminous menu, almost seem perturbed with questions. The Mac and cheese is a delicious and filling favorite centre. Hard to go wrong with bacon, truffles, pasta and cheese. Price point is solid at the 10 to 20 dollar range. I would return and recommend to friends, but plan ahead.

Think of Applebee’s and iggy but with a better bar and slightly better food . The seared tuna, was alright, just average . The tuna avacado dip was also just average but you can say it’s healthy(a little healthy) because of the avocado . Coconut shrimp was just that. Nothing stood out . I liked the fish taco, I think this is the closest I can find to rubios in Hawaii since I didn’t like the surf n turd hype . The dessert were yummy, we got the trio. The chocolate soufflé was chocolatey deliciousness And the crumble pie was nice . Crème brûlée was sad though. It was missing a caramel sugar crunch on top . Service was really nice though and so was the drinks.

This has got to be one of the worst places I have been to while visiting Oahu. I visited 1÷3÷2016. I received some gift cards for Christmas to use at Yard House, while staying on Waikiki and was so stoked because of their beer selection. Shout out to Breakside Brewery Wanderlust IPA! At any rate, the bartender must not have ever seen a Kentucky drivers license because not only did he not think it was me but he had to get a second opinion from his manager. They made me remove my hat, glasses, and sweatshirt to prove who I really was. After that, they still weren’t convinced and asked to see my graduate school ID and debit card. I was really taken aback and made a comment of «ugh… You gotta be kidding me, this is ridiculous.» Then the bartender said«mam, we need you to calm down.» What the hell Yard House?! I didn’t realize I need TSA approval to drink a beer. Sheesh! No thank you. Yard House you suck.

Wow I usually avoid chains, but this place does not disappoint. A side from great service, they do late night food well In a city where it is lacking. You would think Waikiki on a Saturday night. You could find quality grub would be easily had, Not Really. But the yard house is your oasis for late night eats and drinks. Amazing happy hour, this chain does Asian well for an American chain. We got a burger and it was perfectly cooked. A really good burger I may add. Thank your for amazing reverse happy hour as well, Definitely good for drunken debauchery while being light on the wallet.

VEGANSBEWARE!!! I thought I’d found an excellent place for vegans like me to share a meal with carnivore friends. I found Yard House via Unilocal because it was listed as «vegan friendly» and when I looked at the menu online and saw they had numerous dishes with Gardein(fake chicken), I was elated. The first day we came here, the manager was very considerate with us. She told us what we could eat, how we could alter it to make sure it was vegan, and she looked after us to make sure everything was okay. Had I never come back, this review would be SO different.* Unfortunately, I returned, hoping to repeat the magic, and it was an absolute disaster. Kind of like hooking up with your one-night-stand for a second go-around; it was great the first time, but it the cold harsh light of day, you realize your George Clooney look-a-like seems shorter than you remember… and more bald. He seems to be missing some teeth and… did he have that beer gut last time? Is that a lazy eye? And what’s with the jackhammer, is he trying to puncture a lung? Get the idea? That horrific experience is what going back to Yard House was like for me. Only worse. We went back expecting the same great service and the same decent food. Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde comes to mind. Our waiter was arrogant and acted like he couldn’t wait until he landed that one great audition that would take him away from waiting tables forever. And in the meantime, the fact that he’s annoyed by being a server will be no secret to anyone. He seemed bothered by the fact that we are vegan and it was a great headache for him to go ask the kitchen if there was any dairy, honey or anything that would make it nor vegan in their Brussels sprouts dish. But he did it. He managed to ask and then tell us, yes there was dairy but they could make it without. Wonderful. Then he brought them out. A great looking little dish of crispy Brussel Sprouts resting comfortably in their«Aioli» Dipping Sauce. What’s «aoili»? You ask? It’s made with garlic, olive oil, egg yolks, and lemon juice. Sometimes they’ll just use mayonnaise. The bottom line? It was exactly what we asked *not* to have in our dish. When I called him over to ask, «What is this?» he actually rolled his eyes. And yes, maybe he was annoyed with the kitchen, but there was no apology that came with it. He just took the plate and stomped off to bring it back. When he brought it a second time without the aioli, there was still no apology. And also no mention of when our entrees would be arriving. It had been a while but we were happy at least to have something to nibble on. Finally our entrees arrived. I ordered the Ahi Crunchy salad(subbing Gardein fake chicken for the ahi) and I was so hungry by the time it arrived I just dug in. Toward the end of the meal I noticed something very wrong with the piece of Gardein in my mouth — namely that it was actually chicken. About a thousand emotions took turns inside me, as a vegan of 20 years this was truly my nightmare. I spit out the rest of the bite and called the waiter over. When I told him it was chicken, he said nothing. He took the plate away and walked to the kitchen. No apology from him on his second and most grave offense. I then walked to the bathroom where I literally got sick. When I returned, there was a manager there who was very apologetic. I could tell he was genuinely sorry and I appreciated that, but it didn’t make up for the fact that his waiter had been full of attitude the entire night, twice delivered food with mistakes, served a vegan Gardein with hidden pieces of actual chicken in it and never bothered once to appear the slightest bit contrite. The manager comped the meal(obviously) and gave us $ 30 coupons should we dare to return. He also asked for my address in Los Angeles so that their local corporate office could send me something. It’s been over a week. Still waiting. And if it was going to be more coupons, I didn’t want them anyway. I’d never set foot in this chain again. I had every intention of singing Yard House’s praises as the place with a little something for everyone – a place I frequented on my trip to Hawaii but now I’m left having to tell the tale of my completely ruined evening on the last night of my vacation. I left in tears. It was awful. The moral of the story is: never hook up with a one night stand for a second time and NEVER go to Yard House if you are vegan. *Photos are from first visit only

It’s pretty much your standard Yard House, but for some reason, they did not have a chalkboard list of special beers on tap. I thought I could rely on that being the norm at all of their locations. Still they had a big enough and diverse selection of a beer to accommodate any beer drinker looking for something better than Bud, Miller, etc. Service was quick and excellent. The wait staff covered well for each other. If you’re not sitting at the bar, you place your orders with your server, but more often than not, someone else will bring you your drink. Great teamwork. I don’t usually eat anything more than their burgers at any Yard House. They do make a good pastrami sandwich. I didn’t eat any food on this visit. However I would recommend coming here for drinks and go somewhere else in Waikiki for better food.

I am vacillating between 4 and 5 stars for this eatery. The food was excellent, the drinks were great and there were a plethora of football games on the many TV screens. The service was top notch although our original server ended her shift and handed us off to a new server before we had even ordered our drinks. I had a salad with flank steak. The steak was cooked to perfection, the salad was fresh and the dressing complemented the dish flavorfully. We were all able to enjoy our repasts without being hurried and the bill was not presented until after we had all finished eating and our plates had been removed. After perusing my review it is obvious that this establishment earned 5 stars. We will try out other Yard Houses in different cities to see if the whole chain is as good as this one.

Oh so many places to choose from in this area! Here the menu had the options that would satisfy everyone in my group, so thumbs up to that. I had the Cobb salad with huge succulent shrimp(I would have called them grilled prawns), hold the egg and take that ranch dressing off. In its exchange, I asked for balsamic vinaigrette=perfect! Glad that the waiter didn’t blink at the order because it was very good. Like 5 stars good. My hubby order the pear cider that I shared. They do have a pineapple cider, which if I come back here, I’d definitely try. I like a good apple cider, and this pear cider is even better, so smooth and thirst clenching. The bar is immense with a lot on tap. We did enjoy watching WSU beat UCLA on one of the many TVs.

After all these years, our group of friends finally decided to check out Yard House. First off parking: amazing and super easy… Just valet at Embassy Suite and just pay either $ 6 for 4 hours or $ 10 for 9 hours. You won’t regret it when you need to park in Waikiki. For a group of 7, we were able to get seated quite quickly on a late Saturday night. Our server, who they called Bro was really good and took care of our table besides the ruckus of the crowd. Our group ordered different types of burgers with of course truffle fries and pupus. I’ve been to a Yard House in the mainland and it was amazing. However these were not the same truffle fries… Two people opt for the lamb burger but they didn’t really like it considering their love for lamb. Food is just okay, nothing special.

I am pleased with the fact that with our early evening reservations, on Halloween… we were seated promptly. The hostess lead us to a very large(sleep on the benches if you want to) table. There were four of us and just perfect in the even that one of us wanted to nap. I was accompanied by two heavy meat eaters, one medium capacity eater and then there was me… all 113# of(mostly) vegan eating human being. The menu was vast enough and editable enough to satisfy each of our appetites. Not that I ordered but I did taste the garlic fries… if you’re of the deep-fry consuming type my recommendation is that you GOFORIT! Turkey pot pie, now; my morals say that I recommend watching«Forks Over Knives» or «Supersize Me» on Netflix or «Veducated» on Youtube for information about things that you«probably» should know about what you’re ingesting. Anyhoo’ I’m objective and not a preacher so let us carry on… The service was darned good. Minus one star for the fact that even after ordering our drinks, meal and appetizers… then receiving our appetizers and eating them, we were still using our fingers; and my Halloween costume to wipe our mouths and fingers. Wonder woman couldn’t have been more wondrous without having offered her costume as a napkin for her companions.(30 min… no silverware or napkins; I’d finally requested them… oh boy). OTHERWISE, the wait help was pretty good; my friends sampled a number of beers and the waiter was very knowledgeable and had superb suggestions regarding beer choices… my dirty vodka martini was just fine. I’m pleased to announce that they have a nice selection of «mock chicken» dish options which are mostly vegetarian dishes but can be made vegan. The Turkey Pot Pie which my friend ordered, LITERALLY had some passer-by’s stop and ask what that was because it was HUMONGOUS. The server warned that it was«No Marie Calenders» which I thought was comical however; he wasn’t kidding. The darned pot-pie was larger than a large human head and probably met the dinner consumption of 3 regular sized human beings. Anyhoo, my able-bodied large-capacity-food-consuimg friend finished and enjoyed it. The quality of food was good. The beers I sampled from my friends were tasty(because I sampled each one), The ambiance was a bit active but not so noisy that you lose your voice in a conversational effort and not uncomfortable on the ears. The service was good aside from us having consumed the first quarter of our meal with our hands and using our clothing as napkins.

I am drawn to Yard house because of their 1. Extensive Beer selection 2. Variety of Vegetarian food selection 3. Quality of food However there are cons! 1. Parking 2. Wait time 3. The WAITTIME When in Waikiki, do it up. We were out with Angela D and decided we hangry! Since we were so close to the YardHouse and 3 out of 4 of us are veg heads and 4 out of 4 of us are beer fanatics, it seemed like the perfect fit right? We always know their wait time is ridiculous! We have been there before and had to wait over an hour. So, we thought we would be sneaky. We called a head and asked if we could put our name down. So they told us that it was an hour wait. So we inferred, an hour wait with our phone call, we show up in an hour and then we would be seated right away? Right? NO. We arrived and they told us we would have to wait another 30 – 45 mins! So that makes our total wait time to nearly 2 hours! Would you wait two hours? So we were upset. What do you do when your hangry and upset because you have to wait another 45mins? Drink. We headed straight to the bar. The bar was busy, but not overly busy. We waited another 15 mins trying to get the attention of the bar tender. We finally got out beers and the time started to fly by. Once we were seated, we were starving. We were greeted by a very happy and positive waiter, Kai. Immediately we ordered another round of beers. My first beer was the Lost Coast SHARKINATOR white IPA. Highly recommend! For my second, I indulged on one of my favorites, Anchor Steam! Yum! I immediately knew what I wanted! I ordered the Gardien buffalo wings and truffle fries! For some reason, the BF talked me into sharing the truffle fries– don’t do it! They were so delicious! I could have had 40x plates of truffle fries for the rest of my life! I absolutely love the veggie selection! Of course after being in food heaven, the almost 2 hour wait to get in and the additional wait at the bar seemed minini. Great food, great company, great beer. But long long wait for seating.

If you’re in Waikiki with a large group of friends and no one can agree on what to eat– you go to Yard House. Their menu is 30745074 pages long with variety of food(even vegan!) so everyone will be happy. FOOD. — Fried Calamari: You can never go wrong with fried calamari. But this one stands out in particular with their roasted jalapeño tartar and fried lemon slices. FRIEDLEMONSLICES. Genius. I know it sounds weird as hell, but It’s actually friggin good. — Seared Ahi Steak Sandwich: Holy crap. There is this magical sauce they put in this thing that makes it. magical. And spicy. And delicious. The ahi is seared perfectly, the bread is soft yet crunchy, toppings are on point, and the sauce just brings the whole flavor together. I think it’s the best sandwich I’ve ever had. And I don’t even like sandwiches. Da fuq? Why did I order a sandwich? Welp, good thing I did, cuz this shit was amaaaaazing. I ordered the truffle fries on the side for like a dollar more. Totally worth it. — Baja Fish Tacos: This was pretty tasty, but I wasn’t blown away by it. This one probably scores right up there with all the other fish tacos I’ve had in Hawaii. — Gardein Orange Peel Chicken: Vegan! Not too shabby. They have tons of vegan options so that was preeeetty cool. It’s actually delicious, so try it out! SERVICE. Prompt. Quick. Friendly. Even though this place is usually a mad house with shitloads of people, the servers are on it. *thumbs up* Well, at least for me. I know some people complain about the service. I probably just got lucky the few times I’ve visited Yard House. ALCOHOL. Lots of beers on tap! Tons of alcoholic options– from beer, wine, cocktails, to fancy liquor. PRICE. Expensive. I got 2 beers, 1 entrée(sandwich), and 1 appetizer(split ½) and my bill was ~$ 50(after 20% tip). Yikes. But if you’re rich or you’re on vacation, you’re here to spend money. Go for it. ;) PARKING. You can park at Ross on Seaside and walk 0.3 miles over. You just have to buy something at Ross to validate your parking, but you can park for«free»! INCONCLUSION. Only go here if all you’ve got is time. Because you’re gonna be waiting a loooooong time for seating. Especially if you’re in a large group! I came here with one friend. Table for TWO. And we waited for 20 minutes. We ended up walking around(nearby) and bought some shoes. Shoes that I didn’t need. Damn it. In order to have a 4 – 5 stars experience here: don’t have a time constraint, come with fun people with lots of time on their hands(so they don’t complain about the wait), order the ahi sandwich, drink beer, be rich, and walk/über/cab it here.
