I bought a Schecter Omen Extreme 4 bass recently, to my disappointment it had a bum neck and bridge. So I went back up to get it fixed and they said it would be $ 50.($ 50 for damages that aren’t my fault even though I have a 36 month warranty). They then brought up a repair plan, I gave them my phone number and name and they found my purchase. They printed out the receipt and proved that I was who bought it. They then said they couldn’t have it replaced because they needed the original debit card I used to buy it. (Unmentioned was the 1 hour wait I had to get helped by people who weren’t even helping anyone else) (This is also the third new guitar I’ve boughten from guitar center that have been damaged and needed to be shipped out)

Our sales person(dude) was rude. We were pretty new to knowing what we wanted and might need for having our first guitar, and the sales person made sure to make it obvious that we were annoying him and that he thought we were idiots. After all if it, We got our guitar and got checked out by another person who was a lot more helpful, and ten times less rude. One thing that surprised me is that both men saw the guitar strap I picked out and said nothing when it turned out to be a banjo strap. Thanks guys. When I brought it back in the only woman working in the store was quick to recognize and helped us find the correct one.
