«Gold’s Gym won’t honor my free-trial pass? NOSWEAT, I’ll find another gym.» I have heard good things about Gold’s Gym from a few people in the past, but I will never get to try it. The gym is a pretty decent size with a wide range of equipment and the hours are all right. In my opinion, the price is fairly high(around $ 40.00 a month, excluding all the activation fees), especially since the gym isn’t even 24 hours. Since the price is pretty steep for what it is, I decided to go to their website and look for a free trial-pass to try out the gym before I sign-up, even if it’s only for a day. The website originally advertised it as a «7-day VIP Pass» but recently has changed it to only a 3-day pass. I read the terms & agreements and inputted my information. The site went off without a hitch and allowed me to print out my «3-day VIP Pass». When I arrived at the gym, the employee claimed their guestbook was«full» and they were no longer taking the VIP pass for the rest of the week, but he offered to let me pay $ 10.00 for a day pass to try out the gym instead. Great. I didn’t take him up on his offer but I must say that I am disappointed in this false advertising by Gold’s Gym. I wish they posted the stipulations for the VIP pass because they made it sound so easy online.

Staff is great, super friendly. The gym is huge even with a lot of people in there there always seems to be plenty of machines. They have child care/spot for the kiddos to go and play as soon as you walk in. Cant speak to it though I dod not use it at all.
