Awful stadium. The parking lot is grass and mud. Not organized or configured. The concourse was small and crowded. The seating bowl was half covered. The student section was being overly abusive to the visiting team. Hey talk crap, it’s part of the experience but when you use gay and racial slurs that crosses the line.

CASECLOSED! Floyd Casey is the first stadium I ever saw a football game in and is probably the stadium I have gone to the most over the years. I grew up outside of Waco and made it a tradition to go watch whenever UT would come to town. Well the football gods smiled upon me and turned the final game at the Case into a big 12 title game between Baylor and UT, so me and some of my Baylor friends bought tickets in the South End Zone 2 months ago and planned for a party. Well we got a serious party and some serious cold weather but I will say it was all part of the experience that made for an amazing night. The stadium is run down and they were in need of a new location but the service was always good and due to the fact that Baylor was terrible for all but about 12 of the 63 years they were there you never had a line at the concessions or bathroom. Hell I went to a few UT games where I was fairly certain there were more Texas fans than Baylor fans in the stands. Good Luck in the new Briles Bowl, Baylor and HOOKEMHORNS!

I’ve been coming to Floyd Casey for years. As a child, my boy scout troop attended games and helped people to their seats. As a college student, I came here to watch the Baylor Bears take on various rivals with mixed results. Overall it’s a decent football stadium, but not one of the best. Improvements over the years have included the addition of the high tech scoreboards and the upgraded suites/pressboxes. The exterior has also been updated since my time here with player photo graphics and other appearance improvements. The current students should really appreciate the things they have available to them now that didn’t exist back in my Baylor days. In general, my positive review of this place is tied more to the memories it brings back to me of my time at Baylor. Good times indeed even if our team didn’t do very well. I recently attended a game here for Homecoming. Despite the rain delays, I had a good time. I did notice some areas of improvement that I wish the University would consider: 1. Televisions — It would be nice to have TVs in the stadium so that you don’t miss any of the action when you are grabbing food or when it starts raining and you run for shelter. 2. Bookstore — The bookstore«Bear Essentials» shop was too small to handle the crowd on this day. People were packed like rats and it was hot. They also needed more cashiers. 3. Parking — Please pave the parking lot. The gravel makes a big mess on rainy days. In any case, if you don’t want to park at the stadium, many local residents offer up their lawns for your convenience. 4. Men’s Bathroom — OK, I know I’m a guy and I know how guys can be, but the bathrooms were disgusting by day’s end. Toilets were overflowing and the floors were covered in water and mud. There are not a lot of bathrooms, so shouldn’t someone work these areas constantly? Also, can we get something nicer than troughs for urinals? This is a Big 12 stadium and the bathrooms have had no renovations whatsoever.

This is the Stadium of my Alma Mater. This is the Stadium that I ran with the entire rest of the fans to tear down the goal post after Baylor beat University of Texas in 1997. This is the Stadium that was built in 1950 and is in SERIOUS need of a Face Lift. Rumor has it that Baylor is attempting to acquire land to build a new stadium on campus(novel idea, I know)… so that may explain why no work is really being put into Floyd Casey. But compared to the rest of the Baylor facilities… this place looks like the red-headed step child.
