If it were possible to give no stars I would. Another family and ours ordered food and there was hair, yes hair, in each one of our containers. It was mixed in with the fried rice and main entrees. Yuk!

Food is not as bad as I had expected. I had the egg drop soup(best I’ve had in a long time) and the pot stickers were also very good. Everything else was okay, nothing special. The place is VERY run down and food options are limited. The management were kind and gracious, but the employees were very ghetto(mildly put). One employee was cussing and singing an inappropriate rap song with children in the restaurant eating. Not something management should tolerate, but it’s apparent that they don’t care much about appearances or impressions they leave on customers. Not planning on returning… EVER.

Does anyone from Unilocal*ever contact these restaurants? With poor reviews since at least 2008, it would seem that the owners have no idea what the customers are saying. I think Unilocal*could be of real service if they would at least call them to let them know… This restaurant is located in an excellent location and simply seems to suffer from very poor or absent management. Restaurant Impossible would have a field day with this place!

I wish I could give 0 stars! This place was absolutely terrible. Myself and three others placed a delivery order in hopes that this place would be a decent selection for our lunch break. It was far from even that. We got the order and opened up three entrees to the nastiest sesame and sweet and sour chicken of all time. It tasted like it had been sitting out for a couple days. I am not usually one to complain, but it was literally that bad! Not only did we pay a delivery fee, but we also«tipped» the guy, so we figure, what the heck? Let’s call them and see what they can do. The manager, Nancy, was so rude! She had the audacity to tell us if we «don’t like Chinese food to order pizza!» I asked if there was anyone above her we could speak with. She said the only person above her is the owner and he is never there. She then went on to ask my name and number so they could put my business on a «block list» so they can refrain from delivering to us. Honestly, I suggest you, your family, and your friends avoid the business like the plague!!! Horrible food and horrible customer service! I will NEVER order anything at this establishment again.

This is sad! I ordered Generals chicken, curry chicken, vegetable stir fry, and two egg rolls. The stir fry had large bias cuts of celery stocks and no flavor. The curry chicken had barley any curry seasoning, besides from the fact that my plate had more chicken skin and fat than meat. My roommate and I were amazed at how hard, salty and stale the egg rolls were. The Generals chicken was fine, nothing to really get happy over. But, when the food arrived there was sauce from one of the plates in the bottom of the bag, and one of the sweet and sour sauce containers had spilt. All the locals from school said there wasn’t any good Chinese spots around and I should have listened. I called to see if I could get my money back and the«manager» was very rude. She continually interrupted me on the phone when I said what I had a problem with. I asked for the owner and she told me he never comes in, so she gave me a number to call about any problems, but when I called the number was disconnected. So, I asked again who was the owner and the kept repeating«Chinese Kitchen owns Chinese kitchen». I’m very frustrated with this restaurant as a culinary student.

I thought it was odd that it said 50 minutes for delivery and 15 minutes for pick up but I ordered anyway. At an hour I called to ask if my order had been sent out for delivery she said yes. Here it is 1& ½ hours later and nothing so I called to cancel. I should have read the reviews first. I would never recommend this place to anyone!

This place doesn’t deserve any star… My first experience was simple but left a nasty mark. I ordered Tofu with Chinese vegetable via their website. At first, I thought this place is pretty cool with online order system. MISTAKE! BIGMISTAKE! As I picked up my food, I was greeted with this lady who barely speaks English and just pointed at the door says«Carry Out». As I got my food, another lady who barely speaks English asked if I want some sauce, took me a second to figure out what she said. I said«hot sauce please» after she put 2 hot sauces in my bag, she asked me one other thing but I had no idea what she said, and didn’t care. When I opened the plastic bag, hot sauce oil was everywhere, liquid from my food was all over the bag(SEEPICTURE), and as I opened the container, HOLYSMOKE, they gave me a crap tons of SO-NOT-CHINESE-VEGETABLE with 20% of Tofu… ANDZERORICE! Rice is SUPPOSEDTO come with the meal. VERYNOTHAPPY! So I called back, this idiot answered and mumbled«Chinese Kitchen, can you hold?» and click he put me on hold for half second then hang up. DOUBLEVERYNOTHAPPY. Called back few times, busy tones, finally call went thru. This idiot answered again, told him what’s going on, and he put me on hold AGAIN. Answered by another idiot, had to told her AGAIN what’s going on, and she thought I wanted an order of steamed rice. Explained to her AGAIN, and she put me on hold… She finally said I can come back they have plenty of FRIEDRICE. Are you listening to me, lady? Wait, you probably did, you just didn’t understand. I told her I don’t want to come back and she offered me some credit for the next visit. Forget it lady, there will be no next visit! Food was crappy. I just waste $ 7.70 for bunch of idiots who doesn’t know how to communicate and cook!

I decided that despite developing explosive«stomach» problems from eating here twice four years ago, that I would give this place a try again. I should have thought twice. I’ve never been to a buffet where I couldn’t decide what I wanted to eat, because none of it was appetizing. I went tonight with my dad. Before we could see that the buffet is $ 11 with a drink, we were immediately seated. Then, we went and got the food that sealed our fates. The food was just plain gross. It was cold or lukewarm, and desperately needed to be refilled with fresh food. The meat was poor quality — the ribs were all fat, and tasted like they sat out uncovered in a refrigerator all night. I bit into the sesame chicken, and the meat was dark brown-pink and slimy. The service is pretty much«serve yourself,» and no one came by for a while to clear plates. What also concerned me was the clientele, and the general attitude towards the hygiene of the clientele. Every other buffet I’ve been to has hand sanitizer on the end-caps of the buffets, and has signs saying«Please serve children under ten, Please supervise your kids, Please assist your children with ice cream, etc.» In this case, there were small children coughing all over the food and dropping it all over the floor, adults sniffling and coughing all over their hands, then touching the food. As someone who is still fighting the tail-end of pneumonia, I wash my hands constantly, and don’t appreciate the lack of consideration towards others. There were at least a dozen kids from different tables sticking their hands into the ice cream case unsupervised, so needless to say, I didn’t go near the desserts… not that there were any desserts to eat anyhow, as the section was EMPTY. The air in the place is thick and kind of smelly, with a musty odor of old cigarettes and old grease. They really need some air circulation in there. The booth I was sitting at had collapsed springs and was very uncomfortable, and there were huge TVs all over the place blaring ESPN. As I nurse my indigestion and nausea, I have decided I will not return to this restaurant.

I hate to trash any business, but the only good things I could say about my dining experience is that the white rice was tasty and they use filtered water in their ice and iced tea. The chicken used in their dishes is so dark that it tastes downright gamey. The beef used in their stir fry dishes was so tough that chewing becomes tiresome. Pork ribs had that«refrigerated too long» flavor. Everything which should have been hot was only warm at best. All three soups were only warm, and despite the fact that the Won-Ton soup pot was full, there were no Won-Ton’s to be had. I never saw anyone from the kitchen replenishing any of the depleted offerings. If the baked salmon wasn’t so dry and cold, it might have been good. Oh, in case you were wondering, this was the best that they could do at 6:00PM on a Friday night! On my way out, I realized that this restaurant will survive because it caters to families with out-of-control children who add drama to your dining experience. To make matters worse, 30 minutes later the food digesting inside of me created a wind so foul that it cleared two aisles at the local Walmart. Sorry world.

Me and my cousin went here last night 11÷16÷12. It was absolutely horrible. The service was crapy and the food was discussing I count finish eating. The sweet and sour chicken was cold. The fried rice was more like semi brown white rice, no flavor at all. The only good thing was the drink. And way over priced. I do not and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

this place deserves it’s full two stars!!! I was pretty hungry and decided to give it a try…, food is «ok»… fried rice just very basic, looks like it was made on a fly…, no taste… fish was not so great, it didn’t looked like it was even cooked all way… i saw lots of pink, and it didn’t taste really that great… but watermelon tasted very good!!! …it’s kind if difficult to screw that one up… — from time I was here, I looked at buffet area and noticed that workers will not replace or even add new/more food until previous is gone/done…i had to ask if they going to replenish fried rice… there were lots of other things very low… it looked like fish sat there since this morning… it tasted the same… — bathroom… I thought I was at a train station… — when I was dine with my plate, I placed all napkins and other trash on plate… with a fork… when waitress showed up, she picked up the plate, then saw the fork pulled it out and placed it on a table next to me… saying; you will be needing it??? — what was that!!! …if you think I will be needing it, bring a new one… — and talking about silverware, it’s the cheapest ones… I don’t think I even saw anything this crappy in a store… — meal with a tip castes me $ 14…i left $ 2 tip for some unknown reason…

Had«Fun For 2» meal delivered to my hotel room. No chop sticks. No napkins. No hot sauce. Tons of some unidentifiable sweet sauce. Meat was extremely poor quality and sauces were bland. Even rice was all wrong. Seriously? How do you mess up rice? Very disappointed. Sent my husband to schlotzsky’s across the street. Too bad we’re not at home or the dog would be a happy camper… maybe?!

This place looked like it had it’s heyday prolly 10 yrs ago before Pei Wei opened up next door. I am all about not going to chains, especially when out of town, so I gave it at chance. There is a small buffet, a to-go order area, and a drive thru. I decided to take my food back to the hotel. I ended up ordering Seafood Fantasy… ooh lala. haha jk It’s basically shrimp, imitation crab, and a ton of vegetables like zucchini, carrot, baby corn, celery, in a plain sauce with a touch of garlic. The girl also gave several containers of mystery sauce. I asked her if it matched with the dish and she said, eh, just try it out. mix some soy sauce too. It turned out to be like a plum sauce. Actually it helped add some flavor to the meal, if I only had mustard or vinegar to cut the sweetness a bit it would have been perfect. Anyway, they give you a ton of food and the veggies are all fresh which is nice. Try it out if you want cheap Chinese food you can eat for several days. ;)

Food was ok, it was a buffet and literally half the stuff out there was mislabelled. I can’t eat shrimp and I had to ask if there was shrimp in certain stuff like egg rolls even, etc. I hate having to do that. Food was fairly fresh for a buffet, and it wasn’t expensive like $ 8 or something, at least at lunch.
