We made a stop here on our way to Minneapolis. Everything was fresh and delicious. The cheese curds are to die for!!! Be patient as the food is cooked after you order, nothing is premade. We both had burgers and would definitely go back again.

Not impressed. Maybe it was an off day. We went for dinner on a Sunday after a day of visiting the area. Based on the other review it seemed like a good choice for the family. We were pretty hungry. It took 45 minutes to get our food from sit down to service. Maybe they were understaffed or the big party of 8 next to us rocked their boat. My wife’s burger was cold and portions we small. It just did not feel like it was a good value for what we paid. Like I said. Maybe it was just bad timing but we don’t plan on going back to find out. The place itself is cool to look at. The saddle bar stools were a hit with my kids.

Stopped in while passing through for a quick dinner. We will be back! Super fun Wild West theme with thoroughly modern and decadent burgers, juicy and hot. We had to low-carb it tonight but can’t wait to try the sweet potato fries too.

Living in Wabasha, I have eaten at the Silver Star many times and I have never once been disappointed! Whether I get take out or dine in, the staff are always professional and welcoming, the prices are great and the food is fresh! I definitely recommend the bone-in honey barbecue wings and you can’t beat Monday’s half off burgers!

Charming little saloon. Burger was excellent but fries were salty for my taste. Nice pleasant stop with good service.

Sat down and they brought out fresh chips and salsa. Hamburger was delicious and onion rings had good flavor.

Burrito was ok, not fabulous but good enough. Con quest dip was really runny but it tasted great. Service was friendly and prompt.

We stopped by here in search of some nice local dinner; having scoped out their menu via their website, my bride and I agreed this looked like the best option in town. So we walk in and sit down and put in a drink order and peruse the menu… and I’m thinking there’s something missing, like their entire dinner section. I hauled out the tablet and got online, and it was then I saw that their steaks and such are served only Friday and Saturday. Um. So we just backtracked to the Tex-Mex stuff(which accounts for about half their menu, the other half being burgers, basically) and nailed some top-notch fish tacos and enchiladas. Lesson #1 for me: read *ALL* the menu. Lesson #2 for me: come back to this place as soon as possible, because their food kicks ass. We had a great time here.

We came here twice during our stay in Minnesota. We had burgers, cheese curds, and fried pickles. All the food was very good. I tried the juicy lucy burger which is a type of burger that has the cheese placed within the meat. The burger was good and it reminded me of a regular cheeseburger though I was glad to have tried it! My parents also enjoyed the food a lot. Cute décor and the privacy booths are great. The service was very good. The menu is extensive and there was a lot to choose from.

Stopped in for dinner. I had ribs, soup was corn chowder it was very good. Ribs were very average, had mashed potatos they we good, had corn it was very bad over cooked. Wife had fajitas they were very bad greasy & they had tiny shrimp & they cut it in pieces. T-Bones much better don’t know how this place rated higher. Night life very good at the silver star.

Best cheese curds in the Upper Midwest… and trust me, I know cheese curds! Friendly staff, good food, fun atmosphere, and something on the menu for all ages. A quick walk from the Eagle Center, consider stopping here for lunch or an afternoon beer.

I was in Wabasha on a business trip and was referred to this great bar. I was a bit speculative at first about eating at a bar and grill, but within minutes of entering I knew it was different. The menu was awesome, food was great and service was even better. A definant five stars. I’ve never written a review before, but decided this was the most opportune time!! rhvfcmxjxjakj john Jehxjdhhsls Kidding shandy smash downfield S Gonphgfzyzujn

Given the Wild Bill Hickock burger is battered and fried, I figured I could do without the bun. Good call. A half pound was still more than I could finish. Fantastic though. Really wonderful. Good staff. Friendly. Attentive. Quick. Very pleased with this small town gem.

We made the trip from Rochester and it was well worth it. The burgers were excellent, great flavor and perfectly prepared. We also ordered a couple items off the southwestern menu, which were also outstanding. The fish taco was killer. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We’ll be back for sure.
