Must be the talent of staff in Von Ormy because no one there seems to understand the concept of customer service. Olga(the 5yr employee mgr) feels being rude and confrontational with a dissatisfied customer is an appropriate response. Olga your correct your not McDonalds but at least their employees and managers understand pissed off customers don’t come back and tell their friends to stay away.

First time to try the infamous Carl’s jr. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. I was in the mood for burger king flamed broiled burger but was out of my way, turns out Carl’s jr is the same in cooking style but with an extra bonus, seasoned waffle fries. Oh i maybe i got lucky but they were fresh. My burger tasted good and had the flamed cooked taste only thing is it could have been hotter but still tasted great. I know I will be back to eat at Carl’s again. I also know there is another location up 35 a couple of miles off of military drive that is a stand alone. This location is inside a Loves gas station but no complaints about that.

Ok, so I miss Carl’s Jr from California and this is the only one left standing in the San Antonio area and unfortunately is attached to a truck stop which is in freakin Von Ormy… waaaay in the south side. I was told that there’s a location opening up somewhere around FM78 though. Anyhoo, the burgers are good — just about what I remember from before. Although my gripe about this place is the lack of decent customer service. Notice that I didn’t even say ‘great’ or ‘good’ customer service. Decent is all I ask. The employees smoke inside… I’ve heard them curse and yell at each other for getting orders wrong… Look, I understand you’re not exactly working at a Michelin Star restaurant but can we cut the antics out while we’re conducting business? I mean, seriously. p. s. This review is dedicated to Will & Google Maps… LOL
