Was planning to go but according to their website they are closed. If I find them to be open I will remove my review. I called and no answer. Phone not disconnected though. This just in… temporarily closed… Steve– The Lake Travis location is currently closed. We hope to be able to re-open it when conditions at the lake improve significantly. We’re doing rain dances every day!
If you’re ever in the neighborhood, stop by our Galleria location and please ask for me. Hope to see you soon.

Probably added a star because the day was so nice. About 12 of us went for lunch on Sunday after a hike. The waitress was able to handle our table efficiently and with out a mistake. The Cuban Sandwich was pretty good. Like how many Cubans are in Austin so their take on it wasn’t bad. The Pain Killer drink I had was outstanding and I wish I could have had a second but alas I was driving and if you know Lime Creek Road, you want to be sober. Everyone seemed to like their lunch and the view was great. It seemed like a place that could be a laid back bar in California. Parking is a problem and I wouldn’t take anyone there that has any kind of trouble walking any distance or a balance problem. Parking is in another dimension far, far away. The steps down are stone and steep and the tram is a bit slower than Grandma in a brown 10 year Cadillac in the passing lane on Lakeline.

This was a favorite spot of a friend of mine and after he passed away we had a makeshift memorial here. The location is really beautiful, and the patio is spacious, you never have to worry about bumping into anyone. I give the place 4 stars for the service, our waitstaff was mindful of the situation and tried to stay out of the way and were really prompt when we needed things. This was quite refreshing for me. Granted I am not the clientele that this place panders to I still found the food to be decent but I did find it a little ridiculous to pay $ 10 for 4 shrimp that were not very big. I cannot say I will be back here, mostly because I live in S. Austin, but I would recommend it to anyone who asked.

Café Blue(or Bleu) offers decent brunch food with a very nice view of the lake. It’s not nearly as crowded as the Oasis and the food is much better. I had the tasty Eggs Benedict Arnold($ 15) — a crab cake, poached egg, and a shrimp and crawfish Cajun cream sauce, on top of a thin slice of English muffin, which came with«smashed potatoes»(think mashed potatoes in a patty) and a fruit cup(with delicious cantaloupe, bland honey dew melon, and grapes). I also enjoyed a very pretty pomegranate blueberry mimosa($ 5). Hint: get there by heading to the lowest end of the boat dock parking lot, then find the hidden stone staircase(lake side) that leads to Café Blue. You’ve got the right staircase if you see the statue of a female figure holding up a torch. There’s no signage for Café Blue until you get to the bottom of the stairs.
