Fairly priced, good selection, friendly service & convenient location. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I really like its location and the fact that it’s a locally owned business. That’s the best part about this area of Vista. All the fresh fruit/veggie stands, the flower stand, feed stores and more. When you go in there’s a sense of familiarity. Which is rare now-a-days. Keep being awesome guys!

This location has had a new store owner for the past 2 – 3 years. Definitely a lot more friendlier and professional than the last owners! Eddie is a very friendly and welcoming guy! He renovated and cleaned up the store. The store has a lot to offer for any stop. Great selection of liquor and drinks. Clean and tidy environment. I recommend this be your next stop.

Last place where you find actual civilization before you hit the boonies of Vista and Other Vista(so-called, Bonsall). The guy that was manning the store that day was outside smoking a cigarette. He blew smoke in my face right as I was entering the store to buy a water. Dirty, sketchy place. Think about renovating? Better customer service-so unprofessional to be hanging outside the business smoking. I went in because I needed water for my cat. Also, crappy/sketchy/dangerous entrance and parking lot to get in-out of.

Ruiz is the last civilian outpost on Vista Way before making your way to Gopher Canyon and onto the 5. It’s a rinky-dink little liquor store but it opens at the buttcrack of dawn. I’m usually stopping in around 630a and the clerk is standing behind the counter, looking bright and cheerful. The selection is what you’d expect, without any surprises; pleasant or otherwise. There’s plenty of parking. And plenty of out of work Mexicans/Central Americans in that big empty parking lot. Moral of the story: If you need a Monster for your belly or a monster(in a good way) to help you with your demo work, then look no further than Ruiz boy. Mira…
