Super awesome viet place. Came here 3 days straight cause of the offer(40% off select vermicellis). Phở had a nice consistency, broth was flavorful, and both the rare and well-done steak were tender. Portion was a little small imo cause it was the first time I could still walk after a bowl of phở. Still, the vermicellis were to die for! The BBQ pork was SOOOOO fragrant and juicy!!! It even glimmered when it was first served to me lol. The egg rolls were great too; crispy and fresh. And they gave plenty of that orange sauce in which I drowned my vermicelli in Top all of those with great service and super friendly staff who still welcomed me for dine-in 10 mins before closing even though all the chairs were already up on the tables and they were sweeping/mopping the floor, and you got 5 stars! :)

I have been coming here since 2009! They are under new ownership now and happy to say the new owners are great and the food/phở is really good, we love their egg rolls! Also, if you are within a couple of miles they will deliver! I love the convenience, great food and friendly staff.

Had a dinner recipe fail at the ol’ homestead and my son and his GF said«hey let’s get Phở»!!! They called Phở Lucky and we all placed our orders. Delicious Phở if you ask me. The broth was so flavorful that it didn’t need much added to it. Big Portions and the take out is done well with everything in it’s own container. Would definitely order again and would visit the restaurant.

Excellent authentic vietnamese food in North County! The special beef noodle soup(«Phở» #1) is a must-have. In addition, the service is above expactation; The servers are super nice and friendly. I took my friends and my co-workers here all the time and they totally love this place!!! Keep up the great work, Phở Lucky! :)

The servers were very friendly and accommodating to our requests. I would recommend you try this spot. We had phở with well done meat… eggs rolls and the spring rolls. All were tasty.

As time continues to move faster n faster, so must our diet, and being in the fast lane most of the time, Vietnamese food fits the bill. Not only is it healthy and light, it’s always fresh! The people here greet you right away and they always have a great smile and they’re very attentive. So for those long days when you just don’t feel like cooking and yet you still want to healthy meal this is a great place to go! Keep up the great work and keep the food coming.

First time trying this place. Great atmosphere and service, very welcoming. Dat(dats his name lol) was our waiter, very nice guy. We had the chicken soup, ordered a large one, definitely plenty enough to share! Linh also helped us out and she was very friendly. Make sure you try the Thai tea, soooo good! Overall great experience, we’ll be back!

This place should be called Phở Unlucky. We sure didn’t feel lucky. Where to begin — the placed smelled like an old Asian buffet, almost didn’t stay because of the smell but it was getting late and we were all hungry. Went there on a weekend night and the place was empty, there was only one family other than us in the whole restaurant. The service was quick at the beginning but once we got our food we were forgotten. Took us a while to get someone’s attention. Now the food. They did not have egg rolls without fish. That didn’t make me happy. Not everybody eats fish! Seriously?! That was disappointing. I got chicken phở. The chicken was soooo over cooked it was inedible! It tasted like it had been cooked 3 – 4 times and re-used. Just nasty. The broth was ok but I didn’t go there for broth only. Not happy again. My husband got the beef phở(#1), and the beef was over cooked. My husband said the broth didn’t taste right either. Our little one got sea phở and had the same complaint — all the sea food was over cooked and rubbery, she couldn’t eat it. Also, we asked for root beer for her since it doesn’t have caffeine, they brought dr. pepper that’s loaded with it. We asked for a new drink, the waitress tried to tell us root beer and dr. pepper were the same. No, they are not! Terrible experience overall. We are never going back there. I would rather go to Stater Brothers right next door and get something from their deli than eat in Phở Unlucky again. No, thank you.

Outstanding customer service and great fresh food. The boothes are a little dated and some needs repair but man the food was great especially their specialty soups. Manager is young witty inviting and very friendly. I would recommend you try it. Take out has improved with wait time but it depends on the flow of customers. They were so nice enough to accommodate my orders and the customer service is so fun and cute and fast. Whatever you like we make for you kind of attitude. Phở Lucky you’re on fire continue your fourtune abundance will poor in.

GREAT flavour of soup.(I’ve tried over 30 types of Phở soup) Not only the soup, I love the way you can customize your appetizers. Say you want chicken and not pork, they do that for you with a smile. They can do half size apps. Very friendly staff. As I’ve said I’ve been to a lot of Phở restaurant and they are cheerful and wonderful to their customers(which is sometimes rare in ANY restaurant). I appreciate their genuine smiles and all around good service(even when busy). I eat here pretty frequently. I’ve tried a couple of other Phở restaurants in the area and they’re all the COMPLETE opposite of this place. Prices are very good here too. 5 stars for sure.

Best Phở place in north county in the hidden spot. Me and my friends were very happy with the service and the delicious foods they have. Highly recommend this place to whoever want real Vietnamese cuisine.

This is a review of their phở prepped for take-out, not dine-in. I wish I could write more about the flavor, but I’m sitting here in my office frustrated/hungry since the utensils provided are ridiculously flimsy and ineffective. I grew up on phở, eaten with chopsticks. The chopsticks they provided resemble 2 flimsy twigs I could have picked up off the ground — no grip at all. The fork they provided(I was desperate!) had tines too short to pick up the noodles. The broth wasn’t hot enough to cook the rare steak. The bowl — oh, wait, no bowl… I got a Chinese paper take-out box with the ingredients and a styrofoam bucket filled with broth. Turning this into an edible presentation was a feat of engineering. That being said, the broth was seasoned well and the vegetables were fresh.

This place has great food, very reasonably priced and the new owners and service are excellent! The egg rolls are really good with the mint, sauce and lettuce leaves they come with. I usually get their rice vermicelli with bbq pork. I had a new dish last night with beef chucks on a sizzling hot cast iron pan, all on a bed of rice. They also gave us some free dessert. It had mung beans, cinnamon and coconut with tapioca. Was really good dessert to cool down on a warm day.

Wow! This is our first time having Vietnamese food, and I’m glad it was here. The food was delicious, and the host was gracious and hospitable. My husband & I were greeted by a nice man, Henry. He immediately showed us to our seat. As he handed the menu to us, I told him we’ve never had Vietnamese food. No problem, he recommended various items, and we placed our order. He highly suggested we order egg rolls for appetizers. The thing I loved most about my experience here, Henry showed us how to eat the food. For example, he had us place the egg roll in lettuce w/cut up pieces of mint then dip in this sauce. OMG, it was so GOOD. I’ll never eat an egg roll the same way again. Seriously, this place is great, and Henry and the staff were great. We’ll be back again!

This is my go to place for local phở. The broth is not watered down ie Americanized and the staff is very polite and orders come out quickly. To you guys/girls complaining about prices — there are no nearby competitors! If this was in Irvine, where its flooded with Viet places, then yes the prices would be lower. At least the food is good. Pretty much everything is yummy. The soup, the rice and vermicelli plates, appettizers etc. etc. Mind you if you have never tried phở before then start off with the rare steak. A reviewer said the soup she got had«inedible» meat — which it isnt. Tripe and flank and tendon are considered throw away meat in the US but dont let that ignorant review sway you.

I’ve been here a few times. During the week as it is on my way hm. Basically just down the street from my house. An on a day like today phó sounds really gd. . I usually get the bumber 18 rare steak with a extra dish of rare steak on the side. With spring rolls cut. As they usually dont come cut. This is very gd especially when you add a generous amount of jalapeños. … haha the place is pretty clean usual not a lot of ppl. But steady business from what i can see. The staff 8s very nice and pleasant. The owner is a very personable person. Very nice and hospitable. There is plenty of seating. I tend to grab a booth and wait for my bowl to arrive while enjoying my spring rolls and reflection time. Gd food gd ppl. Gd time. If you give this place a try you will be very satisfied. Enjoy gd eats.
