I moved to Carlsbad three years and was looking for a new general practice doctor as I am in my 60’s and have a few medical issues from agiing. Dr. Patel has been an excellent doctor for my needs. He keeps up with routine testing that I need and has great skills in problem solving if a prescription drug stops working and a new one has to be substituted. He is easy going, gentle and very competent. I had the same doctor in Minnsota for 21 years and thought it would be difficult to make the transition. I am really pleased to have Dr. Patel as my doctor. His nurse and other staff are a real joy. They come to work with a happy disposition and treat patients with respect and courtesy. If you are looking for a new doctor I think you would be pleased to switch to Dr Patel, especially if you are over 55 and want a doctor who has great skill with aging issues.
