Since my mom and I have met Jen, I’ve always been more than happy with the results of my hair.
She’s done an amazing job every time. When I first met Jen I wanted to dye and trim my hair, she was honest enough to tell me that the condition my hair was in was not healthy enough and she didn’t want to damage it more. Instead, she gave me a haircut making sure to not get rid of too much length since I was not trying to go short at the time. She also gave me great hair advice in order to get my hair in the condition needed to color it. After following her advice, I was able to return for a hair cut and dye my hair with out worrying of frying my hair since i would be bleaching it for an ombré. My hair is now healthier than I’ve seen in for years and it I love the color!

I have been trying to find a new place to get a hair cut. Found Jen on Unilocal and really liked the reviews. She was super sweet and listened to how I wanted my hair to look. She made suggestions as well and really liked that she did offered feedback. She has many years of experience and knows what she’s doing. I convinced my sister to try a new place although she was really worried and wasn’t sure if she could trust someone new with her awesome long hair. She trusted me and in the end trusted Jen as well which made me super happy. Thank you!

I found Jen on Unilocal after I became totally desperate with the condition of my half colored hair (because my color has grown out and my grey is showing. It’s damaged and in need of some major TLC. She asked me for what I was wanting as far as a cut and all I could say is I wanted to keeping length, but wanting the damaged ends dealt with and that I wasn’t really a detailed hair person so if she could make the cut forgiving. (Meaning a cut that needed lots of attention to get everything to line up just right wasn’t going to work for me.). She responded by saying, «Let’s leave your color grey issue as it is, people pay me to have their hair look like this and let’s focus on a cut that works for you.» (Or something close to that, note above, I’m not really detailed.) Let me say, she NAILED IT! My hair is so beautiful and soft and stylish! This cut looks fantastic and I’m SO THRILLED to find something close by that can make me feel like my hair looks like $ 1,000!!! Thanks Jen!!!

I met Jen at her sons preschool A Children’s Garden Vista. I had a hair emergency (unexpected event) so I turned to her. That was November 2014 and I have never looked back. Jen has dyed my hair, cut my hair short (or layers with my longer hair), she has even let me come in with wet hair and she styled it perfect. I will never go to super cuts again. Sometimes I just need to treat myself. It helps how sweet she is and so easy to talk to. I love her stories from her kids to the new guy she is seeing.

Well once again you worked your magic Jen… loving my new «do» with the layers in the back and sweeping bangs in the front. It is hard to believe it has been over 10 years since I walked into your salon. When I decided to accept my graying hair you developed a plan so i could still look professional through the year it took to grow my hair out. I have had nothing but compliments as your cuts make all the difference. Thank you Jen.

Jen is amazing! I had my first short hair cut with Jen and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it. She made me feel so comfortable and even made me laugh. It felt like it should have been a little more traumatizing than it actually was since I’ve always had long hair. I would recommend Jen to anyone!

I’ve always wanted an ombré with fun colors, but never had the time to get it done. So when I had some time I looked for hair stylists near my house and that’s when I found Jen! She did such an amazing ombré with fuchsia and teal. I feel like a mermaid~!

ummm pretty much love her. I’ve only gone once so far but it is one of the best cuts/​color I’ve ever had! Looking forward to more visits with her! Plus I love her positive attitude and she is pretty funny so that is entertaining as well ;) Oh– and did I mention she gave me juice shots while I processed! She juices and had these amazing juice shots so I left feeling pretty damn good on the inside and out!

Jen gets all the stars! It’s a bit unusual to see nothing but 5-​star reviews here, but Jen deserves them all. She is a warm, wonderful person and an expert at her craft. I got exactly the cut I needed and enjoyed the whole process. Guys, if you go to one of the walk-​in places you don’t know what you’re going to get — come to see Jen and you get exactly the cut you want. It is well worth it. Thanks Jen — much appreciated!

Jen is absolutely amazing! She is definitely a hair color expert and knows what cut would be perfect for you. She only uses the best hair products and take total care of your hair. She gives you great advice on how to maintain a healthy hair. I don’t normally buy professional hair products but Im glad I did. I bought this amazing professional spray bottle from her and loving it. It’s protecting my hair color and looks amazing. I get a lot of compliments and people ask me who’s my stylist. I already booked my next appointment with her. Jen is the best hair stylist in town! :) I highly recommend her.

Jen is by far the best hair dresser in all of San Diego. I have tried every hair place from cheap to very expensive and No one even comes close. Jen takes the time to know you and she cuts and styles your hair exactly how you want it. I have even come in and said «I dont know what I want» and I walk out SO happy! I totally trust her. She only uses the top products on my hair. The best part of the experience is the head massage. It is wonderful and exactly what every women needs. I have brought all 3 of my girls in to have their hair cut and styled and WOW-​they look great. Too bad I cant take Jen home to do style our hair every morning.

Jen es una estilista fenomenal y estoy muy feliz de haberla encontrado. Dado a que mi pelo es ondulado y grueso, muchas peluqueras tenían complicaciones tratando mi pelo, pero con Jen e tenido una experiencia fantástica, no solo sabe pintar y cortar mi de diferentes maneras pero también lo hace rápido y no me tengo que quedar 4 horas sentada en una peluquería. Jen es tan buena estilista, que le recomendé a mi mamá y hermana sus servicios y ellas al igual que yo están encantadas. Recomiendo a cien por cien los servicios de Jen a cualquier persona que necesita una peluquera buena y eficiente!

Found Jen based on the great Unilocal reviews. She was easy to make an appointment with and very friendly when I arrived. We had good conversation and most importantly Jen gave me a great haircut. She kept my hair long but gave it so much body, spot on execution. My hair feels great and you can really tell Jen is a natural at her craft. I would have no hesitation to refer her to others and see her again in the future. Thanks Jen!
