I changed my tranny fluid and it started acting up. Took it here to get the engine light code checked. P0750 for the solenoid came up which I figured. They told me fixing that piece alone would be 450 but with an original transmission with 230,000+ miles on it, it is probably going to cost a lot more when they open it up. They opened it up and told me all the damages in there which I had expected on the old tranny. They fixed it up and it works great now. It only took them two days when they told me it might take four. They were friendly and gave me a ride to my house when I dropped off my car. The parts came out to about 1500. The labor was about 1200. Normal labor and parts costs. Sucked to pay the 2700, but after 230,000 miles of not regularly changing the fluid it was bound to happen.

Said my transmission needed to be replaced/rebuilt… I said no, thats okay, I want a second opinion, so they still charged me $ 800 to take my transmission apart, and put it back together… I took it to another place who said there was nothing wrong, and guess what…6 months later my car is STILL running like a champ!
