Went here on a whim today after shopping at Target. I’ve been before with friends when it first opened a few years ago, and it seems to be about the same. What I really like here is the seating — most yogurt shops have little tables that make you feel like you need to lean in and finish asap. But here, they have nice cushy seating close to the walls, more like a café where you feel like you can hang out a while and actually enjoy yourself. The yogurt itself is only okay, nothing to write home about. They had some fun flavors, with pineapple being FANTASTIC, but if you are a fan of classic plain tart, STAYAWAY. I didn’t know you could mess up plain fro yo but apparently you can. It’s more sour than tart and doesn’t actually taste like yogurt. Maybe just a bad plain batch that day but very bizarre, if you love tart don’t risk it. They have a wide variety of toppings which seems to be their appeal, but because its so diverse, they don’t see a lot of turn over and some are kind of stale(my crushed Reese’s cups and Heath bar both were). Overall, if your in the area, why not. But try somewhere else if you want to impress a date this summer. ;)

Went here after a dispointing dinner last nigjt and we love it. So many choices and toppings to cater to myself, husband, and 3 year old. Love just sitting, laughing and enjoying a cold treat!

Came here for the first time today(6-20-2015) and the selection of the actual frozen yogurt flavors wasn’t that great. However… The quality in taste of the frozen yogurt that I did have was really good. It’s dense, like fro-yo is supposed to be, not full of air… or air bubbles. The flavor is rich and delicious(today I had yellow cake batter and cookies & cream). The selection of toppings and syrups are fantastic! I really loved having a wider variety here of toppings to choose from(especially broken pieces of waffle cone, yum!) Price for the yogurt here per ounce is a bit higher than Yogurtland, but it isn’t too bad. Place is very clean, which is something I really like. Last thing you want is to go into a frozen yogurt shop and have sticky stuff all over the floor, tables, etc. Overall, Big Kahuna Frozen Yogurt is really good and I will be returning. Yay! :)

We love this place! The yogurt is really good, although I always get the same thing. But the best part about this place is how friendly the staff are. When my family and I went in today the girl working there just made us feel like she knew us. Friendly workers makes or breaks a place and in this case it makes Big Kahuna the best yogurt place in town.

Love this place, probably way too much! The staff is extremely helpful and always a great experience. Now for the downside: how can you get fat eating frozen yogurt, this is not a question but a pondering. I think I am putting on weight just thinking about going and getting another cup of frozen yogurt and I don’t even like yogurt normally, seriously I am not putting on any weight(I don’t think, «do these pants make my butt look fat?»). OK got to go it is time for my frozen yogurt fix.

Being a froyo connoisseur means that I have tried EVERY froyo place in town. And I mean EVERY one of them. I am kinda obsessed with froyo and lately have had it 3 or more times a week(not something I particularly like to brag about…). Big Kahuna yogurt is delicious and one of my favorite froyo places in Visalia! So many toppings and the flavors of the yogurt change pretty often! Free mini samples of the new flavors means that you get to try the yogurt before you put it in your cup! My husband and I went today(again) and just wanted to say that Nicolas(the gentleman working) was very helpful, professional, and made us want to come back even more often! Thank you Nicolas for making our experience even better than before!

Every time I come here I see a pretty good number of froyo machines but am always disappointed by the selection of flavors. Maybe it’s their supplier, I don’t know. I just know that you usually don’t need to have three different kinds of vanilla on the same day. I wish I could see more of the flavors I’m used to seeing at froyo places like Taro and Green Tea. I’ve asked and they don’t have nor can they get, which again leads me to believe it’s probably their suppliers. Maybe they need to consider switching it up a little. I like classic tart the most, and they almost always have it, but there’s something about theirs that just isn’t right. And almost all of their other flavors are way too sweet, which coming from someone with my sweet tooth is saying a lot. Luckily the place is never busy so any time I go there I don’t have to wait around dawdling newbs trying to figure out how to pull a handle. But then maybe their lack of customers should be a tell. At least the people who work there are nice… when ever they come out from the back. I’m really torn between a one and two star rating. I want to give them a two because at least they have a location that servers something I really enjoy, but I just can’t seem to do it when every thing else is so disappointing.

The four stars are for the service, yogurt was no bueno… decent but not good, the service was excellent, and toppings were fresh.

Yogurt is flavorful. Cashiers are helpful. This is a serve yourself yogurt shop. 0.42 per ounce. Tons of toppings to choose from. Pile it on yourself.

Love the yogurt and toppings. The cashiers aren’t the brightest though — they had difficulty figuring out what a «buy one, get one free» meant. They also had difficulty with a «20% off purchase» coupon.

Well I love frozen yogurt and this is the best you will find in Visalia, CA. It is really yummy and they are always changing flavors(TIP: They post new flavors on their Facebook.) They have every topping you can think of and they are name brand.

Came with friends after eating an Indian buffet at Taj Palace. $ 0.42 an ounce. It is all self serve. There are sample cups available near the register. Many different flavors available(~12) and many fruit and dry toppings. The yogurt was thicker than that of Yogurtland. I ended up choosing cookies and cream and cappuccino. The mango sorbet didn’t taste like mango to me. Was hoping to find Taro but in this neck of the woods that wouldn’t be likely. There are seats available. Certain seats get more sunlight than others so choose wisely. There is also ample parking. They also have a frequency card available but it only applies to purchases over 8 oz. Overall not the greatest fro-yo I’ve had but it’s bearable.

My favorite yogurt place around! Awesome flavors and toppings. Plus it’s pretty inexpensive, and that’s the best part!

Traveling through the area we were looking for a yogurt shop and were not disappointed with this one. The price was $.39 an ounce which is more than we pay at one place at home and less than another. They had a fair choice of yogurt flavors(didn’t have my favorite — cheesecake) and they had MANY topping choices. About 30 toppings from cereal to candy bars with nuts and brownies too plus they had 8 hot toppings like hot fudge and strawberries! Don’t forget the whipped cream along with about 10 choices of fresh fruit. They really should be called the Big Kahuna«toppings»… way too many choices to choose from!

This is my favorite frozen yogurt place. They are always rotating different flavors of yogurt, which I appreciate. There are plenty of toppings available, so there will definitely be something there that you will like! You pay by the weight of your cup. If you really pile things on, it can get a little expensive!

Just ate(or should I say gorged) their yogurt for the second time. While I suspect the yogurt on most yogurt shops comes from essentially the same couple places, the product here tastes like it’s a little bit better quality. Another bonus is that they keep a consistently clean shop. Unlike some of their competitors, you can walk through the line without worrying about slipping on somebody’s leftover spill. Finally, they have a boss selection of toppings. The yogurt may be sugar free, but the mounds of gummi bears/strawberries/marciano cherries/captain crunch/almonds/caramel/frosted flakes/sour patch kids spell sugar overdose!

One of the many fro-yo brands to satisfy the fad. This place is just OK, B. Or is it because I’ve overdone my fro-yo cravings at MANY fro-yo chains that it’s become a banal delight? Customer service was friendly and efficient! It’s not as good as Pinkberry and Red Mango, but hey, this is a SELF-SERVE establishment, so it’s pretty much a self-fulfilling prophecy. The Big Kahuna follows the same protocol as Yogurtland: put as many as you want, any way you want — kinda like Chinese buffet. The name hella cracks me up though: What the hell is a «Big Kahuna?» I’m so dirty-minded.

When first entering Big Kahuna, I noticed how clean and spacious the place was. They had a total of five machines and with each machine came with 2 different flavors. They had an assortment of frozen yogurt and also sorbets. They had a wide variety of toppings that you could also choose from. Ranging from cereal, candy, nuts, chocolate, and plenty more. What I really enjoyed about this place was that everything was self-serve. You decide what you want and how much you want, which is awesome! I ended up getting the strawberry sorbet with cheesecake flavored yogurt. For the toppings I had: rainbow sprinkles, graham crackers, old fashion granola, white chocolate semi-sweet chips, and had chocolate sauce drizzled over the entire thing. It was pretty damn good:) This is quite a good substitute for Yogurtland, however, it isn’t as fancy. Decorations were mild, cups were plain, however the spoons came in bright neon color which I thought were pretty neat. They had great customer service and was greeted by a friendly and helpful employee. Definitely coming back to this place to satisfy my frozen yogurt cravings.
