I have been couponing for a couple months now and decided to get a subscription since I buy the paper for the same amount ever Sunday. I received my first paper but didn’t receive the next three. I reported online that I didn’t receive those papers each time and the third I decided to call and actually speak to somebody. I spoke to a very nice lady who credited my account like the times before and told me that she would send a message to management and to the carrier. I received the next paper but not the week after that. I just got off the phone with customer services. I was mad but professional. I don’t see the need to take it out on the customer service lady. It’s the carrier who needs addressed. She assured me that she would send out more messages and she wasn’t sure why the carrier wasn’t delivering them because she has had the same route for longer than my subscription. I asked the representative if I don’t receive it again(because let’s get real, they are going to fail to deliver it in two weeks like last time), can I get my money back for the weeks I have paid for and cancel my subscription. She told me that I have been paying for the weeks I haven’t received the paper but they have been extending my subscription and that I would only get money back for the future weeks. I told her that didn’t make sense. Why am I paying for a paper I’m not receiving? She didn’t have much to say and assured me that I would get my paper from now on. We’ll see about that. So I’m stuck each week having to report my paper not coming in until I FINALLY end my subscription which will be never since they can’t seem to get my paper in the driveway one day a week. Oh, and it’s not being stolen. I actually got up before the sun and watched for the carrier to make sure it wasn’t my neighbor getting a free paper. This is not how you treat an unhappy customer. I will NEVER again get a subscription. I will continue to go to the store every Sunday and at least good customer service from the Dollar Tree employees. Good grief!
