It’s shorebreak. Cheap pizza that isn’t to bad, food is pretty good. Big place lots of tv’s, pool tables. Look at all the pics. It is a fun place to chill. Not much for beer selection but whatever.

Went there to watch USA vs Argentina COPA semi-finals. The place was packed with soccer fans and casual diners. They had soccer playing on all the 15+ tvs all around the restaurant. Great environment to watch soccer matches. I guess its the same for other sports as well. There are 3 – 4 pool tables at one corner and arcade games at the other corner. Food was great, service was prompt even though the place was jam-packed. Highly recommended.

I was pleased to see they spent the money to redo their parking lot, then I placed an online pizza order. The entrance to pick up a pizza is where they placed handicapped parking… you would think that would be acceptable because they have parking on the side designated for online orders but there are issues with this: 1) online orders are typically placed by families, the way this parking is situated, you aren’t able to see your vehicle or your children while you head in to pick up your order because 2) there aren’t any Windows on that side 3) that parking and any void of space around it is usually occupied by Shorebreak delivery drivers. While I enjoy this restraint, I believe there is a lack of common sense in their management.

Finally a sports bar that shows soccer. We visited on a Friday night for the USMNT’s first game of Copa America. We arrived about an hour before game time and found the place filling up fast. The American Outlaws appeared to have their own section on one side of the restaurant, but the place was filled with soccer fans. There are TVs and projection screens covering every wall. From my seat, I could turn my head in any direction and catch a screen with the game. I believe!!! I believe that! I believe that we will! I believe that we will win! I believe that we will win! OK, OK, so you’re not a soccer fan, what about the food? We orders a basket of wings(jerk sauce and honey mustard sauce) and the Chicago deep dish«pizza.» The wings were great: cooked through, lots of meat, and not drowning in sauce. I would’ve been happy just plucking away at those all night. The deep dish pizza was also delicious. You choose three ingredients(we did sausage, pepperoni, and peppers). About 20 minutes later a giant monstrosity masquerading as a pizza comes out to your table. Don’t get me wrong. I crushed every piece I could get my hands on. But calling this lasagna/casserole a «pizza» is a stretch. I know this debate is bigger than ShoreBreak, but I am firmly in the NY-style pizza camp. If ShoreBreak’s real pies are as good as their deep dish, They really have something going on. The service was excellent. We camped out at our table for three hours. Not once did our server rush us out to turn her table. She checked up on us regularly, kept my pint glass full, and was generally pleasant. The restaurant was packed and not once did I get the feeling service was in the weeds. The operation was really rolling. Unfortunately, the USMNT couldn’t perform as well ShoreBreak on this night. I can’t wait to go back for game 2 of the Copa and all future USA games. It’s a bit of a drive for us from Newport News, but well worth it.

I got the burger and fries and my meal was amazing! Being that it was ½ pound burger, it was a lot for me but delicious nonetheless!

We stopped in to eat here after hiking at First Landing State Park. We got there around 5pm and were seated right away. Our server Justice was super friendly and attentive. Great service! The garlic cheese bread and Caesar salad were good. I split the salad with my husband and got grilled shrimp on the side as he doesn’t like shrimp. The Caesar wasn’t the best we’ve had(no anchovies, dressing very mild), but fresh and a good size to share as a starter. My husband had a couple different beers and a pizza, which he said was really good. My middle son had the kid’s cheese pizza, and my oldest had the steak bites appetizer for his meal. They both enjoyed their meals(which is pretty amazing as they have very different tastes). I had the fish and chips. They had malt vinegar, which is great as some places don’t offer it. The breading was nice and crispy, not too thick. The fish was hot but not the best, a bit too firm for me. Possibly too well done? The fries were great. I also had a shake. I thought I was ordering a chocolate and peanut butter shake, but when it came it was the peanut butter pretzel shake with chocolate ice cream. It was still good but the bits of pretzel inside were not my thing. The staff was very helpful and it seemed a very family friendly place as we saw a lot of families with kids come in while we were eating. There are a lot of tables but they aren’t too crowded together. It’s quite noisy with lots of TVs, pool tables to one side and a game room at the back. They didn’t seem to mind the extra noise when the baby woke up and was upset, in fact a couple of the other servers stopped by to chat about babies. We didn’t feel rushed although it did start to get busier as it got later so going early was probably a good idea. I’d say we will come here again in the future.

Awesome atmosphere. Friendly staff & good friendly people. Got the burger with cheddar jack cheese and bacon, was delicious. So much food I couldn’t even finish it! A+++. Drinks were filled in a timely matter and service and food got to be table quickly. Bang bang shrimp was good as well!

Friendly staff. Wings were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside like they should be. Average cost. Wednesday is .59 wing day.

We came here for Sunday Football with a friend of ours to play some pool and have some drinks. I don’t think they had any Football specials for drinks or food which kind of stinks but oh well and you pay hourly for the pool tables. I prefer to pay by quarters because when your sitting and eating and not playing, you’re still being charged. Nickle and dimming man. Drinks were okay. Not strong. Neither my boyfriend or me felt any alcohol after drinking a couple of rounds of their crushes. Food: I got the chicken and bacon sammie. It was good. Good flavor to the chicken and it was moist, and i really liked the fries. The boy and friend both got the honey bourbon wings and i should have gotten those as well. They were the best part of the evening! We were sitting at a table that was for 6 – 8 and we were at the end of the table and the hostess sat 3 other people at the other end. It was a little awkward. If your gonna have large tables and use them as community tables that would have been good to know. Or hey, just take a saw and saw it in half so now you have 24 top tables. We left shortly after that since it just wasnt our thing.

One of our local favorites! Great food and friendly service. The grandchildren love the game room! Nothing like amassing tickets to trade in for valuable trinkets!

We have been here a few times for pizza and beers. The pizza comes in a variety of sizes and with a good assortment of toppings to choose from. They do have other italian dishes as well as salads. There is a mini arcade and pool tables or when’s the kids are with you. A good spot for a holiday party.

I came mostly to see the games and they do not disappoint. there is a television in every corner of this place. Probably the best thing, for me, is the crowd that is attracted to this place is just cool. I really dig it. The oyster stew was good but a little heavy on the salt. I really like the beer selection. They can satisfy anyone’s drink needs. — Had the stew and several craft beers. They were good — Based on the folks at the bar the wings are amazing. — The lettuce wraps are filling and look delicious. bottom line, if you want a great crowd, a great game, excellent beers and some good chow… Then this place is for you. Edit: had the garlic buffalo wings and they’re amazing. But the guy next to me got the garlic parmesan wings and they smelled and looked outrageous.

I’ve been a Shorebreak fan for years and it’s definitely one of my favorite places to watch football. They recently went above and beyond for my rehearsal dinner. My husband & I wanted a relaxed atmosphere near our wedding site to hang out with friends & family. We had been to a Unilocal Christmas party there a few years ago, so I hit up Xerxes for a contact. JB was excellent in helping me plan our evening. My In-Laws were picking up the tab and live across the country, so it was also a relief to them that he was so quick to respond and answer our questions. I couldn’t have asked for more on the night of. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to our guests, the food was brought out hot & delicious, & we even spent a little time in the game room. I would totally have another party here in the future and of course I’ll be back for the food soon!

Shorebreak is a great sports bar. I love the atmosphere! The place is pretty big. They have one side for pool and in the back they have a mini game room. We ordered the steak bites and fish and chips. Both were delicious! We will be coming back and trying their wings since everyone is raving about them :)

Hands down the best pizza in Virginia Beach with the atmosphere to put it as a goto spot. When friends and family visit this is is always the best spot for large groups or small gatherings. Great pizza! Go with the signature sauce for that extra spice. The wings are big and moist unlike what you would find at hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings. Staff is always friendly and very quick with drinks and service. There is pool tables and a kids arcade that makes it my kids favorite spot to go eat. Bye bye chucky cheese! And then we have the bar. Great selection of crushes but more importantly craft beer. Selection of great local brews and always a bar special to goto. Pro tip: Sunday special(non-football season) is amazing. Extra large for 9.99(I believe that’s the price)…

Glad I decided to get one order of fries because it’s definitely enough to share. I ordered the large pizza slice and garden salad, too. My salad was crisp and fresh! Very delicious. My pizza slice had mushrooms, onions, and spinach for my toppings. It was pretty darn good. Great place to hang out and watch the game and shoot some pool.

I have seen Shorebreak a number of times and never stopped in to eat because I figured that it was nothing more than a typical pool hall with bar food… After my first visit there last night, I am here to tell you that I was wrong! My wife and I tried a variety of their wings and we were blown away. My favorite were the Garlic Parmesan Wings, they were crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. My wife loved the Teriyaki and mild buffalo wings. We also ordered fried pickles and they were delicious too. I normally do not like fried pickle sin the spear form(normally only go for friend pickle chips) but the spear was battered perfectly and it was chopped up to make eating it less awkward. The service and food were fantastic. The only negative would be the plethora of screaming kids, but I can’t blame them for having a good time. We will be return customers for sure.

I’ve been around VB for some time now and I never gave this place a chance. That was a big mistake! The food there is amazing, the pool tables are nice and the staff is knowledgable with their brew selections. I had the pulled pork bbq and it was better than I expected. The pricing isn’t all that bad either. Word to the wise, if you plan on visiting, go on Wing Night! I ate my sandwich and once I caught a whiff of those wings, I was hungry all over again! Be warned, the place gets crowded! All together, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely visit again!

My boyfriend used to come here because he liked the waitresses’s outfits. When he brought me here for the first time, he gave me fair warning, because they have my two favorite things, and they do them well: burgers and wings. Their burgers are really great: cooked perfectly, with a big patty that could be flavored just a tiny bit more, but overall, they’re very, very tasty. Their wings, however, are amazing. They have so many different flavors, and they’re a good size. You feel like you get your money’s worth with these wings. I almost always want more than I order, so get more. I recommend their medium buffalo, mostly because I like a small kick, but I don’t do well with super spicy food. You can pretty much watch any game that you want here, and sometimes there is a live band that plays mostly indie rock. Shorebreak is no frills, and the food is simple and very tasty.

I came here last week for Unilocal’s Holiday social and I’m truly glad I came. We were early as always but was seated by the friendly staff right away. Being that we brought our daughter and knowing how she is(or maybe the NOT knowing how she is) going to behave made us prompt to order food for her pretty shortly after we sat down. Their menu sure had items on it that I was eager to try, but I held back and waited. When the rest of the Unilocalers had arrived the food started coming out and yuumm, it was all good. I in particular liked the wings, spicy yet not spicy. If I lived on that this side of the water I would surely come to this place more often, it seems like a cool place to hang out, grab a snack, and play some pool. I would like that. But, being that we are a good 45 drive away I guess we’d have to pick our time when we go here, and then there is the thing with Dish being on the other side of the street kind of makes it hard for me to chose. But one thing is sure, I want to try their nachos! Overall, a cool place. Friendly staff. And good food.

Nice set up. We came here for a Unilocal Christmas party last night and had wings, pizza, & quesadillas. Decent! Not the worst and not the best. My favorite was the wings. Lots of beer choices of course. I had 2 glasses of Bold Rock cider. It’s the closest to beer I’ll get; just not a beer kinda girl. If you like pool and bar food, this would be the perfect place for you!
