I was a cosmetology student myself at one point, so I understand that it is a school and you get what you pay for, but $ 80 is too much for what I received. I asked for a phase two student and the stylist I was given was very inexperienced, she admitted she had never done the look I wanted before and I should have gotten up and left then. After my four hour appointment, I left with hair that looked nothing like the picture I brought in, not the color or the style. I came home very upset, and immediately dyed over her work myself. For $ 80 I should not have to come home and re-do my own hair. It looked awful! Will not be returning.

It is a hair school and you get what you pay for. I’ve had great experience with Paul Mitchell academies in the past but unfortunately this is not worth it. My appointment was at 5:45pm, and I left at 9:35pm, with a cut and color I was not so thrilled about…4 hours later! I requested a phase 2, for a trim and base color… specifically let her and the instructor know that my hair tends to go red, which I did not want and now I think I’m more red then I was when I walked in, not the brunette base I was hoping for. Overall bad experience.

Still getting my hair done but so far so good. Abigail is doing my hair and has been very attentive to detail and understanding of my needs. Will update with after pics!

Went for the $ 5 Men’s cut, Alyssa did a great job on her very first Low fade, I’ll be returning for sure. Only downfall is that it took about 2 hours. But she was learning the entire time. I’ll gladly sit in a chair for a couple hours to better someone’s knowledge. Good luck Alyssa, you did great.

I took a chance with coloring my hair here. Its a school for aspiring stylists. I paid $ 68. Back in Miami I paid double for PM shine(semi-perm dye). Love the fact that they use Paul Mitchell products. Kera didn’t do a horrible job, the color was beautiful. it just didn’t completely cover all my hair. I’ll return to buy products

This place is a no go for color. The instructors do not provide honest feedback to their students while they are processing color. You are left with the option to leave with what you have or pay more on another day to have it fixed. Customer service at the front desk is snarky, unprofessional, and arrogant. Decent place for a simple haircut. Not good for those looking for a specific style… don’t expect to show a picture and get a similar result on yourself… the instructors and students make their own creative decisions that do not often fall in line with what is requested.

Go see Courtney! She is amazing at highlights!!! I went in to add more blonde highlights to my hair as Im trying to go blonde(little by little), and she knew exactly what I wanted! She highlighted and toned it to perfection!!! If you need someone who is just going to know what to do, she is the one to trust with your gorgeous locks!(Also Christina is the sweetest and fixed up my layers since she noticed they were kinda funky! I owe her a huge thanks too!)

I had a great overall experience. I love the cut Heidi gave me. Love Love Love It!(I posted 2 pics of it so you can see her handy work.) In case you didn’t know already, it’s a Paul Mitchell School, and the services are done by the students… a full list of services can be found at . This was one of my best hair cut experiences. The cut($ 18!!) was way better the last 2 I had(@ Zena’s and Padma’s in Baltimore… each of which cost at least twice as much!) I hope you enjoy finding this place as much as I did. Cheers!
