Only been to Pita Pit once, but I was very satisfied. Their wraps are pretty big so it satisfied my hunger & the different choices you can have inside are yum! I’d definitely come back!

Great spot. Fast and friendly service. Delicious custom pitas! Fresh ingredients. Only gripe would be the day we stopped here for lunch they didn’t have any soup made at 11:30am, so must’ve been a slow day for the kitchen folks in the back.

Gf & I ate here for our first time today and loved it. Everything was very fresh and flavors of meats were delicious. We will be back and suggesting others to try it out!

This was my first time there after seeing it when I went to Chipotle. I didn’t even go on Unilocal first. I got the Club and it was delicious! It reminded me of Subway with how you can pick your toppings, but I liked that they warmed the meat up on the grill. It wasn’t crowded, but it was kind of small. The workers were friendly, however I do think they were a bit slow. But since I only have a 30 minute lunch break maybe I was just in a rush. Either way I’ll definitely be going back!

Ok Pita Pit, you are different but it could have been better. Upon entering it’s quite tight in there. The menu board is so vague it required explanation by the friendly cashier and not just to me but almost every person that came up to order. I ordered the Chicken Souvlaki knife and fork style with my pita put at the bottom and my hubby ordered the Philly cheesesteak double meat with mushrooms. I really liked that I could add my choice of a wide variety of toppings including hummus and a delicious tzatziki sauce. The artichokes were a little tough but overall my salad was good. My hubby says his was just ok and not quite big enough to justify the price. It was very confusing as we watched them prepare our food though. At least two different ppl asked me what I wanted and they we’re trying to juggle to-go, delivery, and other dine in customers all at the same time. But it was an ok experience. I might try it again when it’s not the lunch rush time.

Food was great. The service I did not appreciate at all. Ordered the chicken caesar no bacon. The person and cook fixing my pita laughed, so I questioned him about it. I was told it’s a chicken breast pita not a chicken caesar. My first visit educate me on the difference so I won’t be your joke in the future. No response just a strange look. Last visit.

oh sweet baby Pita Pit! gimme some of that delicious chicken souvlaki and throw some extra tzatziki sauce on there too! your fresh steamed pita(white or wheat) holds so much goodness I always ask for extra artichokes! So much goodness happening here! And everything is made to order. They will even deliver near the Town Center area(minimum delivery order of $ 15). The delivery time can be long, so I just suggest getting off your booty and getting in the door, that way you can pick your own add-ons right in front of you!

Good Afternoon, I just finished ordering Pita Pit in Virginia Beach, VA. The store address I went to was 300 Constitution Drive Virginia Beach, Va. I first attempted to order online and it kept saying«decline» on card. and so i went ahead and called the store to order. I placed an order for a buffalo pita, turkey pita, pita with dip, and chips. When i got there i picked up my food and let them know about the issue online i was having and she stated, «oh that sucks.» I then got back in my car to go back to work because I was on my lunch break. My co worker went to open her pita to check if it was her buffalo pita and found a large hair inside it and i checked my bank account and saw i was charged twice. Once for the attempt online to order and one in store for 2 different charges. I then right away called the store to let them know what has happened and i talked to a lady named Tabitha. She stated that its not there problem i was charged twice and i need to contact customer support for it and also the hair all we can do is give you a credit. So i took her name down and tried to contact the customer service number and i got a voicemail which was full. So i decided to contact Tabitha back and get her General Manger’s number so I can try and get this resolved. As soon as i tried to talk and explain myself, she started to cut me off and repeat the customer service phone number over and over. I tried to explain i just needed her managers contact information and she refused to give me a time when she would be in again. Then i tried to let her know i am just trying to get this resolved and she started yelling at me. I am beyond irritated at this point with the customer service i received and the food quality. The company I work for frequently stopped ordering from this location as well because of how awful the customer service has been in the past. I would like to speak to the manager from this location to explain what happened and would like a full refund. Please see hair in food picture attached and i attached the receipt as well. Thanks for your time! Sincerely, Danielle

My prime rib meat was supposed to be hot and it was cold and as I ate my sandwich I could taste latex on the gloves he was using to make my sandwich, not a pleasant visit. Probably won’t go back for awhile.

We LOVE this place! Tried it for the first time on Sun for lunch and we had it for dinner that night too! We had them last night and I’m finishing those leftovers off today. I had the Dagwood, the Souvlaki, the local and a quesa-pita. All are packed with seasoned meat, fresh veggies and yummy seasonings in a convenient pita pocket. They’re even open late! I’ll never go back to Subway again. I docked a star because the online ordering forces you to register(no guest check out) and the restaurant queueing is very odd(pay first then add toppings, line starts in an odd place).

Being from LA, I never had heard about Pita Pit… my brother told me about this place. I can’t believe how much I was sleeping on it. Its like subway but with a pita. There is nothing to complain about when they have fresh veggies and a low carb pita. Its not«mom and pop» authentic greek or Mediterranean don’t get me wrong but its basic, simple, and always fresh. I would definitely choose the turkey over the chicken. It’s more tastier. Their sauces are pretty bomb too. I normally stick to the Turkey Combo and I always tell them«double meat.» The turkey is cooked on a gas powered griddle aka one of those flat frying stoves that looks like a hibachi grill. They load on all the veggies with hummus, Siracha sauce, and their house vinaigrette dressing. My personal preference is to tell them to put the sauce on the meat while they cook the turkey. It’s a game changer. I like a light lunch time meal so I normal don’t go for their famous«boom boom» sauce but it’s also very good. If you want that lean«grab and go» lunch, hit up the pita pit. The staff is really friendly too and service is solid. No complaints. I seriously come in everyday four times a week for lunch and I’ve lost five pounds on this diet in just three weeks. Jared from subway needs to hit this place up for sure.

I went there around lunch time, and had never ordered there before. The associate was a lady who informed us very well on how to order and make it a meal. You pick your meat from the menu list, as they cook the meat for you, they prepare fixings and ask you on [white or wheat] pita(basically a tortilla wrap that opens up into a pocket) then you add your fixings of sorts of vegetables and jalapeños, dressings, etc. then they add the meat last. They also sell breakfast style pitas. *if you want to make it a meal, it comes with chips /or soup, and a fountain drink. I specifically ordered the Buffalo chicken on a wheat pita, added spinach, olives, banana peppers, roasted red peppers, added this greek yogurt with cucumbers mixed in(I recommend highly), and little ranch dressing. I made it a meal and got their soup of the day(I asked to try it first) which was«Tomato Floretine» it was delcious it was nice and hot and complimented the pita very well. Overall, my 1st experience there was pretty good, and would recommend people for breakfast/lunch/dinner.

Came here after a workout, figured I try something different. Got a standard Pita with Chicken breast, some veggies, and no sauce. Hungry rating of 4, and the no sauce was a bad idea, at least I should have gone with the loaded grilled veggies, so this experience was very bland for me, but that’s my fault though…

I really enjoy Pita Pit — but I have had a consistent lack of service at this location. I expect to be in and out as quickly as possible. Today, while in for lunch, the grill staff was backed up — the staff mis-communicated with each other and my meat was placed in another person’s pita. Having to wait for this mistake to be corrected was really lame, the space is so small that it felt awkward to be standing in front of the drink machine while waiting on the staff to fix their mistake. I was in the way of other people who were trying to get out of the shop and on their way. Staff communication and ability to get customers in and out is something that they need to work on. All in all — I always enjoy the food and you get a decent amount for the price.

This place is way overpriced for a subway style operation. Because of this I’m giving a 1 star review. They are so overpriced I’m not sure how they stay in business. Since all the local Greek stores were closed on Sunday, I ventured here to get my gyro fix. The meat is preformed and from a refrigerator, not a spit like traditional gyro meat. Your regular portion size for all pita meals is comparable to subway. Also overpriced. A gyro combo(chips and a drink) with $ 2 double meat was $ 12.91after tax.(You Virginians are way overtaxed too @ +10+% sales tax… Yowser). Let that sink in: $ 13 for a gyro, chips and a drink. Wow! The Double meat just made it a normal gyro portion amount. This should cost somewhere between $ 6−8… And that’s with REAL gyro meat, fries/rice and a drink. Also, that normally includes in house made sauces. The taste was good for frozen gyro meat, a tad on the salty. But not $ 13 good. More like $ 7 ok. Won’t EVER return. Unless I hit the lotto.

3 stars for now. I ordered the chicken soulvaki pita. There was very little chicken in the pita itself for $ 6.89 but then again, they put a lot of veggies and feta on it. The Romaine and the shredded lettuce were brown and wilty which again, for the price, you’d expect better. It’s a very narrow sitting space so you’re kind of cramped up next to the people in line ordering as well as the people sitting next to you. In regards to the food, my husband mentioned to one of the staff that the tatziki sauce was very bland and needed some garlic. She was very receptive, agreed, and thanked him for his comment. We ordered 2 chicken souvlaki combos with drinks and a bag of chips, as well as a kid’s chicken pita(no drink, chips, or cookie come with it for $ 3.98). In total, we spent $ 25 and some change, a bit pricey. Overall, it was a healthy and delicious option for a quick meal and a great option if you’re looking for something different. I’m sure we will be back.

This reminds me of Subway but with pitas. I’ve been here a few times and I feel that the customer service needs some serious training. We walked in and didn’t know the drill. Ordered off the menu. The girl taking orders barely acknowledges the customers and and in no one explains that you chose what toppings go on your pita. I ordered tuna and was called back up to the counter after someone came back out after they dumped some canned tuna in a bowl and was asked what I wanted mixed in with it. I wasn’t impressed. The pita was soggy and pretty lame. I’ve been to some pita places that stuff their pitas full of fresh meats and veggies, but this isn’t one of those places. Picture Subways making a sub in a pita and you’ve got it. Meh! Seating is about 3 tables, lines are extremely long at lunch time, a lot of bumping and pushing around the fountain machine. Not exactly a relaxed experience. In my opinion, opt to go to Panera’s or Jason’s Deli at Pembroke.

Pita lid on it! My drink that is and let’s eat pitas! ! This small and new upcoming place is a cool little dig into the pita realm. If you ever wanted to try baba ganoush, humus, and gyro meat come on. An urban take on the street fair. The place only hosts up to 18 people seated either alone the entry window or along the wall. They serve breakfast all day and are open till 11 pm. The have pitas such as spicy black bean, meat the day, chicken souvlaki, ave the typical gyro. Harness the flavors toy want as they’ll invite you to cook it in front of you and cater with fresh veggies, sauces, and leafy greens! I ordered the Philly steak and got thy combo with a tomato florentina soup and a fountain drink. The soup was hot and really great they even have me a small cup of pepper since they don’t have to go packets. They are happy to make more if needed. The pita bread which you can get white or what, I ordered white abs topped it out! The pita tasted good as well. You can even get chips, 2 cookies, or an apple with your combo. So come get a taste of Mediterranean right in the heart of town center(located behind the old IHOP) off the Blvd.

I agree with some of the other reviewers so far, Pita Pit being a new entry into«Fast Casual» dining, and set up about like a Subway. Place Order and pay first, then pick from fresh ingredients along the line as you move along to fill your pita, and then grab a seat and chow down. I came in at 12:10 on a Tuesday, right in the middle of the peak rush, and the staff handled the onslaught of customers very quickly and efficiently. I had the Gyro, which was pretty good, although no where close to a traditional Gyro of course. Meat was processed, thin slices, and a little bit lacking on the meat that they put in the pita. Still, it was a great meal, and to be honest, I really want to come back and try the Breakfast wraps. Breakfast served all day long and the«Steak and Egg» pita looks very appetizing. Overall, the setup is clean and efficient. Fresh vegetables and toppings are used. The staff was efficient and orderly. And the food tastes great! — I definitely recommend and I will definitely be back to try other items. :-)

I was very hopeful that this would be a great option for quick and healthy lunches. Unfortunately, I ordered the spicy black bean pita but fork style. The lettuce was old, wilted and slimy and the guac was a brown-green color throughout(so it wasn’t just the outer layer that oxidized). All-in-all it was gross. Sometimes I can be lenient with a restaurant when I ask for an accommodation that is outside their norm, but considering this is supposed to be a great place to grab a quick pita or salad, there should be no excuse to serve customers food that is old when it’s supposed to be fresh. It’s not like there are hundreds of options to choose from and the occasional ingredient is dated. I’m so grossed out, that I won’t give this place another try. Tip to the manager — please take note of what you serve people. Your main offerings should always be the best because it’s what people expect and want.
