OUT of STATEINFLATABLEBOATBUYERS, THINKTWICE! It all starts out as a great buying experience… even simple service is OK… as long as it can be done over the phone with your time and your tools. When you run out of troubleshoot options on the phone and need«real hands on» there are no relationships in other states to get things done. So be prepared to pay out of your pocket for service… even if you’re convinced by the service tech it should be the selling dealer’s responsibility to pay for the fix of their mistake. There separates the boat dealers!!! Those who step up and those who don’t. You’re out of state, sale is over, can’t solve the problem via phone, you’re sunk. As my local inflatable dealer said to me yesterday«I told you so» when your new boat with 10 hours won’t start and you need an experienced tech to solve the problem for you, «I’m here, they’re not» Lesson learned.

I would definitely recommend this spot for jet ski rentals. The price was a plus compared to other places that I researched, the staff there were awesome, especially Tom. Tom made our experience there pretty fun. He was super friendly and very attentive whenever one of us went over board. He even took some videos of us with our go pro, which was really nice considering we didn’t even have to ask! I would most definitely go back to this spot.

My mother sister and I are visiting from New Hampshire. We found a Groupon deal for a paddle board tour and tried it out. Becca and Becca were our tour guides, they were very sweet, friendly and helpful. None of us have aver used a paddle board before and they didn’t make us feel silly while we were getting used to it. If we ever come back to Virginia this will be a definite stop.

I purchased two Groupons(2, 2 hour paddleboard sessions) for my boyfriends surprise birthday trip down to Virginia Beach. I made a reservation 2+ weeks in advance and mentioned that I will only be in town for that weekend. I receive a call the Wednesday before my reservation, saying that I should change it from Saturday to Sunday due to potential winds of 10−15mph, so I change it and for the second time, mention I am only in town Sat and Sun and need to redeem it that weekend. Sunday rolls around, I receive a call at 9am, before our 11am reservation saying that they will have to cancel the paddleboard because there was a triathlon going on that morning in the State Park that they had no clue about(which I find hard to believe). Then I asked if I could delay our reservation until after the triathlon is completed, maybe 12 or 1pm. He said no, that the State Park’s rules stipulate that they must have their trailer with all the equipment in before 9am and cannot bring it in after the triathlon is completed, also hard to believe. I was really looking forward to this trip. I thought I got a great deal with the Groupon. My boyfriend was excited. I was disappointed with the rescheduling and the unpreparedness was ridiculous. Also, whoever I spoke to at the company, was not apologetic and my boyfriend did not like the way this man was speaking to me on the phone. I thought he was incredibly rude, especially since he should be apologizing to me. Finally, I asked for a refund and I fully expect to get one from either Groupon on Lighthouse Inflatables.
