Got a pretty good deal on the room, however feels really small even for a corner King Suite. Only complaint was the housekeeping’s overuse of Pinesol which took about an entire day to air out. even with the balcony door open. The staff was friendly and a very nice pool and bar at the top floor.

We arrived on Thursday afternoon and upgraded to an ocean view room on the Empyrean Club floor. The staff was great as was the service until tonight, Sunday 9−27−15. At around 9:30PM the loud thumping music started. I realized it was coming from the floor above me which was the outdoor/indoor pool and bar. I went upstairs and and was advised that I needed a collar shirt to attend their party. I told the security person I was trying to sleep as I had to get up at 5:00AM to catch a flight. He said he would ask them to turn it down. They did for about a half hour and then it was turned up again. I called down to the front desk and was advised that there was nothing that could be done. He did offer to move me to another room(10:30AM). He also said I am sorry and I hope you get some sleep which was rather insulting. He also said there was no one I could talk to. I am an honors member staying at Hilton Resorts the past 14 years. Do not stay on the Empyrean Floor if you want to sleep. I will not stay with a Hilton again.

I love this place! The rooftop bar and pool have super hot waitresses and the staff is great. They allow you to drink in the pool and serve you while you are in it. The restaurant downstairs is delicious, just make sure you have a reservation. The location couldn’t be any better. The rooms are spacious and clean. I don’t understand why people are hating on this place so badly. I’ve been a bunch of times and I’ve loved every trip. It gets busy at the bar, but WTF do you expect at a premium place like this. Be sure to check out the Poseidon statue by the beach and rent a four person pedal golf cart if you have a crew with you.

My Fiancé and I stayed here for Memorial day weekend and for the $ 400.00 we paid per night we recieved motel treatment. The hotel location was great and that was the only thing that was great. The rooms were average(killed a bug in the bathroom). The room accesories were mostly broken(ie. Safe, iron, in-room coffee maker). The room-service was completly bad! We specifically ordered a very expensive NON-PORK breakfast, was charged $ 50 for 2 people and waited 1hr for it to arrive and half way into eating our meal found that we had eaten pork. We called the front desk who informed us it would be another hour before we would be brought another meal. They promised to refund us(they never did until I had to call again and fight for it). Overall, a bad place to stay! You might as well just stay at another hotel b/c this one is just bad bad bad! ps. You had to pay $ 10 per use of a microwave. :)

I have stayed at this fantastic hotel more times than I can count. It is a wonderful hotel with many amenities, great food, awesome roof top pool and honestly it is the best hotel in Virginia Beach. BUT I will not be staying here anymore. As I said I have been to this hotel so many times I am a valued guest at the hotel but will not let me book a room there for a upcoming visit because I am only going to be there 1 night. This is ridiculous that because I am coming only 1 night and the have rooms they will not let me book a reservation. Yes, they say it is peak season but I use to live in VA beach and this is the weekend before Memorial Day… it is not peak season yet and they will not fill their hotel. On top of that the people at Hilton and Hilton Honors were none too helpful either. Sorry Hilton your«valued» customer and guest of many years just jumped ship because of this.
