Birkenstock Footprints

How much money have I spent at this store? Enough to send several small children through at least two years of college. In state tuition, of course.
Anyone who has bad knees should make an immediate start to Birkenstock Footprints in Hilltop East Shopping Center. Be there when they open tomorrow morning.
My discovery of the Birkenstock store decades ago allowed me to throw away the hated knee braces that earlier orthopedists promised would help, but didn’t. The shoes didn’t make the pain go away. But they helped more than anything tried previously. One’s foot sits differently in the footbed of these shoes, taking pressure off the knee joint. I discovered this miracle on my own, with no co-​pay.
The Hilltop East store introduced me to the fact that there were Birkenstocks, and other European brands, in every style. They aren’t just clunky clogs and sandals. You can’t imagine how many times I’ve heard «I can’t believe those are Birkenstocks!!»
At this store one isn’t just a person who walks in and makes an impulse purchase. Their computer has a record of every shoe I’ve ever bought, including the size. It’s extremely helpful when the European size of a previous purchase doesn’t immediately come to mind.
If you see something cute, buy it! Some styles are offered for a limited time only. I’ve had people who admired my shoes go to the store hoping to buy the same style. They were very disappointed when told «discontinued».
The shoes last almost forever depending on the level of care. A favorite pair can be sent off to be re-​soled.
Even though the shoes are pricey, the orthopedic benefits quite overshadow the cost. After all, it’s about being able to walk. Also remember, they last forever. I’ve only thrown away a couple of pairs in decades.
The great news is that I have new titanium knees that cost a whole lot more than the Birkenstocks. So you can take my place at the check out counter. You’ll never regret it.

I have been wearing Birkenstock since my teenage years since I grew up overseas. I have been meaning to get some new ones as my old ones are beyond repair. I tried ordering some online but they had their sizes all messed up. Well I went to Birkenstock Footprints and I told her I would like to try on some Birkenstock and see what size I need. I wasn’t sure if I still need the same size as I used to. I also mentioned my mom wanted to get me some for my upcoming birthday. Well she straight out said I can size you but you can’t try any one, we are not a internet provider… aka try here and go and buy some elsewhere. Well I never said I was going to buy them elsewhere, just that I wanted to see what size I needed so I could tell my mom which ones to get me… from there. My husband and kids came in and I admit I don’t have kids who just sit down and don’t move. They were very fascinated by the foot mirror since it looked like they were falling. I told them to not touch it and they still did a few times, but they were not crazy like touching shoes and taking things down ect. She left as I was about to ask another question and came back and started scrubbing the mirrors. She started getting more and more snarky as I ask questions about when new colors would come in and such. Well she just made sure I would never come back to buy anything or recommend this store that is for sure!

Call me a dirty hippie, call me a lesbian, call me whatever the hell you want, but I have and forever will, love my Birks. This is obviously an emporium which sells my beloved shoes but they also carry other brands I didn’t pay too much attention to. Anyway I came in here the other day to see if I could get my old Arizonas re-​soled but unfortunately, they do not do this here. They refer you our to some shoe repair joint that was totally out of my way, so I just said screw it and went home. I almost bought another pair, but im pretty sure my husband would have thought about executing me for spending $ 120 on another pair of my «dike sandals» as he calls them. Anyway, this place is awesome for new stuff. They have everything your BIrkenstock loving heart could ever desire, sandals, clogs, shoes, shwag. you name it. The employees were super awesome too. Glad this place is here!

This is a great shoe store. They carry several different brands along with lots of Birkenstocks, both women’s and men’s. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
