Beach Bella Pizza

Have ordered take out from here a couple times since we moved to the oceanfront. The pizzas are pretty good– we especially enjoy the «Capri» which is a white pizza with broccoli, spinach, and tomato. Unfortunately their pasta dishes are not as delightful. We ordered the chicken parm the other night and it was horrible. The chicken was not served as a whole breast but was in small pieces. It was very dry and tasteless. I would recommend steering clear of the pasta dishes.

Amazing food! Nice to find real food here at the beach! Fully recommend! We got the Alfredo and calzone and both were amazing!

Ordered pizza to be delivered. Took over an hour for it to get to the house. When it arrived, it was cold. All the phone number listed online were busy and couldn’t get through.

We had a coupon for a large pizza with 3 topping so we decided to walk out of our way (:(as we were eating a HUGE RAT ran across the beam over our head and we about died we told the server but all she did was bring us our bill! Didn’t do anything else! YUCK YUCK YUCK IF YOU EAT HERE LOOK IP FOR THE HUGE RAT! Did I say YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!

Sooooo good. The pizza wasn’t too greasy, even with it being really cheesy! The sauce was great, nice crust. Also got an order of garlic knots! Great and the marinara sauce was probably the best I’ve ever had. Very authentic tastes!

I’ve stopped here twice while in VA Beach, one before I ran a race to carb load and once after I ran one to satisfy my outrageous hunger. And both times the food was absolutely wonderful.
Stop number one was in the evening, where I enjoyed one of their large deluxe Strombolis, filled with pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. It was extremely filling and satisfying and the service was excellent.
Stop number two was for lunch post-​race. Unfortunately, the service this day was the opposite, meaning I sat in a booth for over 20 minutes without one of the servers even attempting to engage me. I was already somewhat hangry, so this complete lack of service, or even attention for that matter, didn’t help my mood. But, thinking I was maybe somehow on a hidden camera show, I decided to turn it into a game to see how long it would actually take for someone to wait on me without me saying a word.
Eventually it came to the point where I heard the family at a table near to me mention something to the waiter before he came over to take my order at around the 25 min mark. Actually, I literally had to ask for a menu first. What the what?! I honestly couldn’t believe it.
Anyway, with sincerely apologies and consistent attention henceforth, he turned a crazy experience around and I finally inhaled a majority of a wonderful, crispy-​crust meat lovers pizza, taking only a couple of remaining slices with me in a to-​go box. It’s sad to say it was worth the wait, even though it wasn’t necessary. But, I was thankful he gave me a discount on my final fill for the unfortunate frustration.
Five stars for the food, three stars for the service, four stars overall.

I ordered two pizzas and two salads for delivery. Our order came fast, which was fabulous. My students devoured the pizza before I could even get a slice, so it must have been good. The salads were not the best. I ordered a Greek salad, and it was kind of bland. There was a lot of water left in the lettuce, so it made the feta cheese a little soggy, and it watered down the dressing. The dressing was also a little spicier than I would like for a Greek salad.

Terrible meal, complete waste of money. Will never go here again. Worst lasagne I ever had anywhere

Order from here, just do it! Not from the area, but stayed at the oceanfront inn. They delivered to our room a 20 inch margarita pizza without broccoli and an Italian sub. Sub was descent but the pizza, oh man that pizza, was not only gigantic in size but quite honestly the BEST white pizza I’ve had EVER. The delivery guy was super nice too and they brought the extra goodies I asked for like salt and Parmesan cheese since I was in a hotel. An unexpected pizza experience for sure. Highly recommend as far as the pizza is concerned.

Zero stars. This place gave our pizza to someone else. Didn’t even come to our hotel room. They suggested we order from somewhere else as if we were lying. Don’t order from here and certainly don’t give them your credit card because they charge it without delivering food.

Super fast delivery! We ordered a jumbo pizza and it was yummy. Nothing exceptional but I will order them again while in VA Beach. The delivery man was friendly and humorous as well! Worth it.

Great NY style pizza. Cooked perfectly with great fresh toppings. Crust was the perfect blend of crunchy and chewy. Also had to try their hot buffalo wings. They were ok. Nothing to scream from the rooftops about. But the pizza will bring me back again. Super fast delivery time.

Great NY style pizza. Garlic bread knots are super garlicky. They use real garlic! Pizza was great! Table was sticky. Server was very helpful. Place had no wait on a Friday at 5:30.

Very solid NY style pizza. Was really looking for some good pizza and we took the family out for dinner here. wasn’t very busy, but we got great service and great pizza.
For a group our size, the prices were pretty reasonable. If you want to get away from the beach for a bit, this is a good stop for dinner.

Came here with a couple friends after the beach and stopped by this nice pizza joint. I actually passed by a few months back and hoped to go to one of the restaurants around the area.
Wait time wasn’t too bad and the food wasn’t half bad. I was expecting bigger garlic knots but the cheese fries and pizza made up for that. The spice shakers were really sticky and we had to go up to get our waters refilled.
I’d come back, but I’d rather search a better restaurant along the beach.

Very good New York style pizza and the wings were very good too. Wouldn’t rate it as the best I’ve ever had, but certainly very good. Service was A+ and very friendly. Would definitely go back when in the area as I know it’s a solid option.

This was a total and complete disappointment.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a weekend at the beach. We actually read some reviews for food places on line before we left, and the reviews for this place seemed pretty decent, and we were wanting to order food in at our hotel one night. The hotel actually had a menu for the restaurant in the room as well, so this is what we went with.
We ordered Jalapeño Poppers, Fried Mushrooms, Shrimp Alfredo, and an XL pizza, half bacon, half anchovies. Now, my husband and I are not ones to turn our noses up at some greasy, diner-​style food (as should be evident by our choices here), but this was almost inedible!!! The fried foods were soggy and heavy with oil (someones not go the fryer oil hot enough), and my pasta was a joke! There were maybe 6 small shrimp, over cooked and not cleaned well, and the pasta was dry as a bone! It was almost as if there was no sauce at all! I couldn’t even eat it! The pizza was the only edible thing in the bunch, and even then I have had better pizza from Pizza Hut.
What a disappointment… we sunk $ 60 on a meal to share in our room while we snuggled in front of the fire, and it was a total let-​down. We were tempted to call the place and get our money back, but we decided it just wasn’t worth the trouble and strife.
Avoid this place like the plague…

I went here for the first time since I had a coupon for pizza and wings. The pizza was pretty good, but the wings were atrocious. They were overcooked so the outside was hard and the inside was a stringy heap of brown meat. Disgusting! The staff was all standing around and I was the only one there, so it had to be simply due to them not caring one bit.
I’m pretty sure the only reason they are in business is because of their close proximity to the hotels on the strip. This local won’t be returning.
Tourists – order from North End instead.

Ok there are 12 Italian restaurants of some sort or another in the area that have ‘Bella’ in their name. For some reason that really irks me. Makes it difficult to remember which one we want to order from.
Regardless, Beach Bella Pizza delivers some solid Italian, in giant portions, with a hell of a taste punch.
I made the mistake of ordering the eggplant parmigiana and a salad for just myself. I think it would have lasted me 4 meals. Well should have, I finished nearly all of it because it was delicious. My stomach and I were mad at each other for a little while, but we’re friends again.
I think a salad says a lot about a place. Some places put 0 effort into a salad, basically throwing an iceburg lettuce head onto a plate. Bella is somewhere in the middle here. A decent mix of ingredients in a tangy home made dressing.
And I’ll be honest, I’m not really a fan of garlic knots. I know everyone loves them, but if you think about it, it’s a giant piece of dough that is no good unless there’s a smackton of butter on it. Give me good ol’ garlic bread any day. That said, Bella gives you enough butter and garlic to drown any woes and long held sorrows you have, and leave you unfit for kisses for a month.
The delivery folks have always been on time, even at busy hours, so hats off to them, and we tip them well for it.
Overall, yes, recommended, highly.
