This is a really convenient 7 Eleven with great gas prices. It’s located on the east side of Independence Boulevard at Pembroke Boulevard. Although in the busy Independence corridor, the street lane layout makes it easy to pull in & then exit out into traffic safely again, It’s clean, new & has an interesting orientation with respect to the street & nearby shopping center. As you travel north on Independence it is angled to face oncoming traffic rather than the street. It actually beckons to you. Thats why I stopped tonight, rather than at the 7 Eleven at Haygood, which offered the same price for gas. The building doesn’t have the old 7 Eleven look. Instead it has a fresh new design & welcoming look. I will be back.

Who does not love a new 7 Eleven, well not me. This is not only a new one, but a new one with a terrific location. There are now around five 7 Eleven stores within a little over a mile. It seems as if there strategy is to saturate. This store opened just a few weeks ago. I alluded to the location and it sets on the corner of Independence Blvd and Pembroke Blvd where a gas station had previously been. This store is a complete new build out and looks great. I’ve stopped in a few times for various items and one gas stop this evening. Each visit was above par with the parking lot clear and staff nice enough at the counter. The store presented well and restroom was clean. I have been a fan of 7 Eleven for years. It’s always great to shop, get coffee, or gas at a brand new store. I can see this one being a busy place once everyone realizes it’s open.
