I was driving by and saw the sign and I had to stop in. The artwork, sculptures and jewelry were beautiful. My friend bought a pair of earrings. The sculpture garden was just great. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Most of the art are local pieces. This gallery is a must see.

My Picasso might be your Play-Doh. Your affordable might be my mortgage. Therein lies the trouble in providing a rating for something as personal and subjective as art. All that aside, the Field Gallery is a must. Whether you like their featured artists and offerings(with local pieces & a beautifully curated selection– it’s hard not to) you would have to be the Grinch not to smile at the Sculpture Garden. Assuming your heart isn’t two sizes too small, come here and relish in the oversized Thomas Maley sculptures that populate the large open field adjacent to the gallery space. Walking through the abstract figures, complete with dancing bronzes and whimsical resin statues it’s almost impossible not to enjoy yourself. I’ve come here with friends & family nearly every summer for the last 15 years and no matter the group’s aesthetic inclinations, everyone has loved it. So come check it out– if you don’t leave with even a hint of a smile, you heard it here first: you’re a robot.

This is a perfectly wonderful, affordable art gallery, surrounded by an expansive green field full of Tom Maley’s enormous abstract dancers, famous around the world.(Tom was a generous spirit and very kind man. He really does live on here, where he welcomed everyone with a big smile and kind words.) This is a delightful place to bring the kids and introduce them to art. Many bridal parties come over here for picture taking sessions in the meadow. It’s a small and inviting space, very unique. They feature local artists and the frequent openings are friendly for everyone. Come alone, come with friends. You’ll feel comfortable and welcome, even if art galleries tend to make you uneasy.(Is that possible?) Your visit to the Vineyard has to include a stop here. Parking is usually not a concern, unless it’s mid-August or a president is staying up the street, and you can go to the Farmer’s Market at the same time. And Alley’s across the street. Who can beat that?

My favorite gallery upon this earth. Posing to match the statues is always fun!

One of my favorite places, anywhere, ever! You cannot come to this gallery and not smile! Quirky in the garden, some really nice pieces inside.
