Murray’s Warehouse

Well, the prices are great if you like pants with miniature martini glasses, high heels or tropical birds embroidered all over them. If you like neon giraffes, fish and palm trees on your mini skirt, you’ll be happy here, too.
This is a funny place. It’s old and tired looking with worn out carpeting and display racks. The staff is never friendly, especially the young ones who come in the summer. They are always on their cell phones behind the counter, looking at their finger nail polish and rolling their eyes. It’s bizarre.
Murray’s sells last year’s unsold merchandise to summer visitors who are looking for your standard conservative clothes– Ralph Lauren and Lily P are big sellers. I have wandered in here many times over the years and have only once been tempted by a great winter coat. (Note that Murray’s is NOT open in the winter.)
I’d recommend this so called «warehouse» to visitors who like a conservative, traditional look. You know… preppy. You’ll find it here.
