It took 6 months and three repair trips to fix a simple problem on an expensive stove bought at Crane appliance. In the process, we did not have a front burner all summer and they broke the enamel on the stove top by over-tightening screws. So I would say it was very poor quality service at a snail-like pace. I buy on-island to support local businesses but in this case, I will now travel for appliances.

Cranes MV does not stand behind their products. Bought over $ 12K of appliances and when I had a problem with one, they would not deal with it at all. Customer service and appliance service is terrible! I will buy off island next time.

I commend Crane’s for their integrity. Today, I went to Crane’s to purchase a new grill as the burner on my MHP grill was shot. When I told the salesperson why I was buying a new grill, he informed me that the burner was likely covered by the MHP warranty, and even it were not, I would end up with a better grill if I just replaced the burner for $ 100. He checked the records, and the warranty was still in effect. So I took the new burner, and the grill is now working like new. The salesperson could have easily made a $ 500 or more sale without my ever knowing that I did not need a new grill, but instead he did the right thing. I have purchased several appliances, including the grill, at Crane’s, and would not shop anywhere else for appliances on Martha’s Vineyard.

We bought over 40k of appliances from Crane wanting to buy on island thinking service would be better if bought from them! A disaster! Service has been horrendous. Buy off island!!! Better deals and no advantage to buying on island from Crane!!! Their customer service is nonexistent! BUYFROMANYONEELSE.

This review is for the Orleans branch. I have a bay window and needed a very small AC unit. I have searched for years. Finally, I settled on a portable unit and called Crane. Denise was most helpful and expedited the delivery of my unit. My appreciation for great customer service.

Called 4 times in less than 30 minutes: Call 1: direct to voicemail. Call 2: someone finally picks up and transfers me to a voicemail. Call 3: direct to voicemail. Call 4: someone actually seems interested in selling appliances but is busy so tries to transfer to someone else who can help, but goes to voicemail. I need a washing machine ASAP, but I give up.
