DONOT purchase any treatments from this place! I should have read the reviews before purchasing this groupon. First, it was very difficult to schedule a microdermabrasion because no one ever answers the phone. Second, it was impossible to find. I spent ten minutes driving up and down church street trying to find 145 Church. After calling several times, Soraya answered the phone and very rudely told me since I was 10 minutes late she would need to reschedule because her next client was there. Really? A skincare place that schedules appointments every 10 minutes?! I couldn’t find the location, as others have commented. I am going to try and get my money back from Groupon. DONOT bother with this place– many great spots out there. Read all the negative comments and run!

I live in Greenbelt, MD and drive 29 miles to Gentle Lase. I have visited twice and will go again. It is the best microdermabrasion I have ever received and I’ve sampled many. I will stick with Gentle Lase.

I just had a micro derm done and my face looks and feels amazingly soft. I have had numerous facials before and can tell the difference — Soraya is a real professional esthetician who knows her stuff. I also like the place, a cozy suite, warmly decorated in the historical part of Vienna, very easy to find with ample parking. I will certainly go back there!

If you’re using your GroupOn voucher, please be FOREWARNED!!! ZORAYA(Soraia, not sure if I’m spelling her name correctly) is the WORST/WORST Aesthetician in NoVA. I’m very upset and unhappy so I’d like to share my experience so no one will ever go back to this place! I went here yesterday to redeem my GoupOn voucher for a facial andit was the WORST facial experience I have ever had! I wish I can give a negative star rating on this but it’s not possible so I’m giving it 1 star. Here are my detailed review: LOCATION — The place is difficult to locate in Church St as there are no signs in front of the building. There is a sign, however, on the back of the building which no customer would ever see. But I found it so I went to the 2nd floor. From the look outside, I already have this weird«this is not going to be good» feeling but I wnet inside the office. The office is horrible! It’s nothing like a day spa, medical office or regular salon that I’m accustomed to. Not even close to a nail salon. The place looks like someone else’s living roon with magazines everywhere, no matching furnitures, no reception area. The salon is very small, unappealing, little hole in the wall with random, cheezy 80’s-looking hair posters taped up on the wall. There was a small office area in the corner which I assumed was Zoraya’s office as it has a computer, phone and tons of papers on the desk. Very unorganized office! Looking around the office, the appeal was horrendous. At that point, I wanted to run out but I gave the business the benefit of the doubt as this«might» be the best facial of my life. I should have run out at that point and followed my gut instincts. So I walked in and the lady(Zoraya) greeted me. I said I have an 1:30 appointment and she ushered me into the facial room. She didn’t even ask me for my name, I could be somebody else, taking someone else’s appointment but oh well. So I went to the room and she told me to take my top off and change into the wrap robe. I can tell that the robe was not clean and even the bed sheets, but the lighting was too dim so I can’t confirm it. Again, the décor on treatment room was terrible, not relaxing at all. But I stayed because Zoraya might be a good facialist. There’s no sink in the room which was very peculiar for a salon. SERVICE — it was terrible, horrendous, bad, awful, UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I can come up with all the negative adjectives to describe my experience yesterday if I have all day today. So I’m lying down the bed and the Aesthetician(Zoraya), never introduced herself. I found out her name at the end of the treatment so I can write this review. So that was weird, because most professional Aesthetician would introduce herself. And she NEVER ask me if there are any skin concerns that I need to address, again this is so unprofessional. Since she was not talking, I asked what products she uses and she said Dr. Temt, the best in the industry, which is probably correct. She made a comment that I have a good skin and asked me if I’m allergic to anything, I guess that’s a plus for her. And that’s the end of the introduction process. She started with the process, again she did not walk me through the process. I’ve had so many facials in the past and every single Aethetician I’ve dealt with would normally tell me what’s going on and the steps they’re doing. Zoraya, was the exception. She did not tell me at all what the heck she was doing! 5 minutes into the process, the phone rang and yes there’s a phone inside the treatment room! who puts a phone inside the tratment? And to make the matters worst, Zoraya answered it! Oh my bloody hell, she did not just picked up the phone! So at this point, I was pissed off so I told her«seriously, on my time? I’m trying to relax and you’re talking on the phone?» So she left the phone and went to her office but left the treatment room door open so I can still hear her. She hanged up and went back inside and continued on my facial. Again the phone rang and I can hear it, also the voicemail messages as she left the door open. But Zoraya walked out to her office and turned off the phone, thank goodness. So halfway into the facial, she put on a mask, and walked out of the room and left me there for 20 mins. Again she did not tell me how long the process would take but I figured it was a mask because when I touched my face, it was kind of hard. So I got up of the bed and looked for her in the office. I was the only person in the salon so that was good as I was walking around with only a robe. I told here that I’ve been lying in bed for 20 minutes now and ask her if she’s coming back to finish up. She was on the phone but I didn’t care at that point. She’s supposed to be giving me a tratment for 50 minutes and she did that give it to me. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! So she went back into the room and finished up. I voiced out my concern and that I was unhappy with the entire experience.

Had a pretty bad experience. Very painful electrolysis and I had a bad infection as a result. Also gave misinformation about shaving causing more hair to grow.
