I have been coming here for years and always enjoyed my visits. One of my favorites is their tofu pot which comes with side dishes. For these adventures types, order their intestine tofu. Yap this is what I had for dinner.

This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants, if not my favorite! They grill your meats, which I prefer but I usually get the grilled mackerel which is delicious. I order it with their tofu soup with fresh clams and I’m in heaven. The pickled condiments are all home made and each time I go in, they are never the same. When I’m in the high desert I have dinner here my whole stay!

I rarely write reviews but I am so appalled at their service. Food was ok at best but gave them a pass due to location choices. But when it came time to pay they would not accept credit cards even though there was a big sign that stated minimum of $ 30 to pay by credit. Our meal was over $ 40 but they insisted they only accept cash or debit!!! Customers beware if you don’t have cash. :(

My favorite place for bul gogi and kimchee in the high desert. Excellent Korean food, large portions, friendly staff and clean. Their lunch menu is extensive, affordable and, again, large portions are served.

The soft tofu soups here are delicious. Love this place every time I come. Definitely recommend it to anyone who’s in the area.

Sweet friendly owner and the best Korean bbq, Kimchi, and Tofu you have ever tasted. Calming environment as well.

Im korean and have had korean food all of my life. This place is just average. It used to be really good, but recently not so much. It IS authentic korean food and it does taste like the«original», but it can taste so much better. So it tastes fine and I wouldn’t complain about it at all, but it can be improved. The thing is, when the korean lady who owns the place is present working in the kitchen, the food is usually better than when she is not there. When she’s not there, there are different cooks who just follow her recipe and so its safe to just go with the tofu soup, which is super easy to make. Oh and service. In a lot of korean restaurants, its normal to call the waitress if you want something. If not, then you’ll think the service sucks. Don’t expect to be taken care of to every little thing you might need. If you need something, don’t be afraid to ask and call out to them. Korean culture is kinda like that.

So overpriced with rude service! Only good thing was the flower carrots in the sides.

Good food, delicious and authentic. The AYCE is different than other places, they bring out a series of dishes instead of you ordering a certain selection. The tofu kimchi soup was delicious, as was the pork. The banchan was good. Good service, people that didn’t like it probably expect chatty overly-friendly American style service. I spoke Korean at the waitress and she chatted a bit with me. Everything was brought out very quickly.

I was really excited to try this Korean restaurant because I LOVE Korean food but my expectations may have been too high, especially for this place. The owner(I think she was the owner) was very nice but our waitress was either too busy or just didn’t care about our table much. After waiting for at least 10 minutes for our drink order I was kind of done. After ordering our food(which came out pretty quick) I requested water, but I never got it. We asked the waitress at least 3 times for water for me and gave up. Eventually we just grabbed a cup off another table and used the pitcher she left at our table. The food was not good :(. I was really looking forward to pickled radish kimchi but they didn’t have it. The next best thing was the cucumber kimchi, it was wasn’t awful but not what I expected. My wife got the Korean ribs, those were pretty good. She also got the tofu soup, that was the best out of everything. I ordered chicken bulgogi and it wasn’t good. I wanted to exchange for the tofu soup but wasn’t able to. All in all, we won’t be back.

I wish I would have called the health department. I came to this location because my new roommate is vegetarian and thought maybe we could find something to each of our liking as I’m carnivorous. to my dismay, my ‘beef’ was discolored almost white/grey-like, very firm and had hair still attached to it. I’m certain that my dishes contained no actual beef. I had something that tasted very similar during a 4th of July weekend trip down to Mexico. Thursday, the tacos at this particular taco stand were amazing. Thousands of people arrived and they must have run out of beef. It was the most awful thing I’ve ever tasted! Whichever animal they fed me there, I believe I consumed at this Tofu House joint. beware!

The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is bcuz my hubs was sick before we even left the restaurant, but I think that had more to do with out not being accustomed to the spices etc. The beef and cabbage soup was a flavor delight. Well balanced beef, miso and cabbage flavors. The short ribs are a delight!

Delicious! It’s been 3 years since the last time I ate here. I highly recommend the Kimchi chige. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious panchans that came with it and the Korean pancake was wonderful. If you are trying to find good Korean food in the high desert, look no further. This is not a sit at the table and cook your own food. I think the best thing here is the stews and panchans!

My first time here. When I walked in I see most Korean customers, which tells me this is authentic. Of course they did not disappoint. I stuffed to the Gills and I am satisfied to the core. I will definitely be back again: next time I will bring friends. I hope this place stays open forever!!!

My first Korean meal, and the kind server walked us through the etiquette and how-to. The venue is little odd, but the food is a lot delicious. You can eat as main stream or as adventurous as you like. One of the few healthy(and tasty) high desert establishments. And totally authentic.

Yay!!! A rating on the window now! It didn’t stop me when it wasn’t there though. Menu has expanded and they have AYCE now. Came in for the lunch special. Prices have gone up a little but I’ll pay for good food. The aromas from the dishes at the next table are killing me they smell so good! LOL I usually get the spicy pork, but this time I went for the spicy chicken, since I hadn’t seen it offered before. It was awesome! Sorry no time for pictures! You need to come here!

The ABSOLUTEWORSTEXPERIENCEEVER!!! Literally almost DIED there! Had a large shard of glass in my drink and almost swallowed it thinking it was just a lemon seed, but it had a funny feel in my mouth so I spit it up just to be on the safe side. Life saving move!(I also have pictures and proof). When we showed the owner she simply shrugged it off and brought another glass. NOAPOLOGY, not to mention the horrible service all before the actual glass incident. FOODWASSUBPAR as well. Save yourself. …don’t go! Pictures of glass posted in photo feed.
