I wanted to like this location– I like giving cards for any occasion. Each time I have been there unfortunately, I’ve been made to feel like I am a shoplifter, thief, or just all around shady character– I’ve never experienced this before. In my past experiences, the employees would follow me around or suddenly find work to do where I was shopping. On one occasion I was going to get a few picture frames and would’ve spent $ 60, but they made me feel so uncomfortable that I didn’t want to give them my business, so I went elsewhere. They also have a $ 10 minimum for credit/debit purchases which while understandable, it’s not terribly convenient for people who do not carry cash. I want to support local small businesses, but I also want to be treated with respect.

Family business with excellent customer service. The owners are very attentive to their customers and genuinely care about your experience. I’ve used them a handful of times for party favors, and have found them to be reasonable and the finished product beautiful. They are also very reliable and have gone out of their way for me which I really appreciate. Because of that, I would not go anywhere else other than Candy Capers for future parties.

Your typical Hallmark store with cards, holiday items, and small gifts– with a small town feel. They have bridal stationary items toward the back of the store, a huge trinket-type gift selection(angels, glass art, word plaques, kitchen décor), tons of cards. The staff here was very helpful and attentive toward me.
